Jack W. Schlamer
Jack W. Schlamer, 69, of Merritt Island, Fla., died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 27, 1931, in Oakland, Calif., to the late Marie (Troedel) and Harry Schlamer.
He had lived in the Merritt Island area since 1966, coming from Illinois.
Jack was a retired engineering tech with the Kennedy Space Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Jill Dooley of Merritt Island; a brother, Robert Schlamer of Kewaskum; two grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
A private cremation was held.
The South Brevard Funeral Home Melbourne, Fla., assisted the family.
Frank Anthony Myefski
Frank Anthony Myefski, 75, of Centerville, Iowa, formerly of West Bend, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, in Centerville.
He was born July 9, 1925, in Stambaugh, Mich., to the late Felicia (Dzarnowski) and Cazimier Myefski.
He married Beverly Vandenburg on April 16, 1947. She passed away Jan. 2, 1987.
On Oct. 26, 1988, he married Judith Wiles.
Frank joined the Marines at age 17 and spent two years in the Pacific area during World war II.
Upon returning from the service, he completed high school. he attended St. Norbert's College in De Pere, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and received a master's degree from HKU.
He worked as a sales rep for National Steel, retiring in 1986.
Frank lived in Wisconsin, Tennessee and North Carolina most of his life until moving to Centerville in 1998.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters Christine (Gerry) Bertin of Fredonia, Karyn Espen of West Bend and Margaret Myefski of Madison; three stepchildren, Lisa (Joe) Morrison of Las Vegas, Nev., Anita (Jeff) Meinshausen of Elkhart Lake and Matthew (Carrie) Waage of Racine; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sister Mary Augusta of Rosholt and Barbara (Joe) Konopecke of Kingsford, Mich.; two brothers, John (Joyce) of Iron River, Mich. and Louis (Joan) of Marquette, Mich; also his special pet, Dolly.
Preceding him in death were a son, Michael; a grandson, Andrew Espen; two sisters; and four brothers.
He loved his grandchildren, Dolly and the Green Bay Packers.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centerville.
Funeral services were held Jan. 6 in Centerville.
Gary E. Eisen
Gary E. Eisen, 48, of West Bend, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at St. Joseph's Community Hospital.
He was born July 6, 1952, in Milwaukee to Harold and Lucille (nee Eutsey) Eisen.
In 1959 he moved to West Bend with his family, and graduated from West Bend High School in 1970.
He worked in construction as a carpenter and foreman for a number of years.
He was also part owner of a cab company and worked at the West Bend News.
Gary was a member of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, West Bend.
Survivors include his mother, Lucille Eisen of West Bend; two sisters, Pat Eisen of Wilton, Conn. and Michele (Craig) Eisen-Shevitt of Winnetka, Calif.; a brother, Craig (Sue) Eisen of Littleton, Colo.; two nieces; two nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death was his father, Harold.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. at the Muyrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend.
Rev. William Dushek of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, West Bend, will officiate and burial will be Friday in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of services.

Dorothy Weinand Dana Duket
Dorothy Weinand Dana Duket, 92, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2000, at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center, West Bend.
Dorothy was the adopted niece of the late Dr. Karl and Ermine Weinand Hausmann.
She was a graduate of West Bend High School and went on to receive a BA degree from Lawrence University and an MA degree in English literature from Northwestern University.
For nine years she taught junior and senior English and was advisor of the yearbook at Sturgeon Bay High School.
After her marriage to Russell A. Duket on April 20, 1940, in Green Bay, the couple moved to Fond du Lac where she occasionally was a substitute English teacher at Goodrich High School.
She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority, Theta Sigma Phi, an honorary journalism sorority, and was a charter member and past president of Chapter B.D. of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
She was formerly a member of AAUW, Original Study Club, a Girl Scout leader and Round Table president for two years and served on the Visiting Nurse Board for three years.
A member of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Mrs. Duket was president of the Women of the Cathedral, chairman of the Cathedral Art and craft shows, taught third grade Sunday School and was the originator of the Cathedral mouse which, with the help of a group of women and men, became a Christmas Fair project.
On July 24, 1995, she and her late husband moved to Cedar Bay Retirement Facility in West Bend.
Her only survivor is a cousin, Dr. William Hausmann and his wife, Priscilla, of West Bend.
Her husband passed away on July 9, 1999.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 13, at 11:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Paul in Fond du Lac, with burial of cremated remains in the Cathedral Columbarium.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cathedral on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, Fond du Lac, is serving the family.
William W. ‘Bill’ Jones
William W. "Bill" Jones, 83, of Grafton formerly of Port Washington, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 13, 1917, in Fillmore, to the late George and Celeste (Crass) Jones.
On Feb. 23, 1944, he married Mary Thein in Savannah, Ga.
Survivors include his wife; a son William Jones Jr. of Grafton; a daughter, Karen Neuy of Port Washington; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Jones of West Bend; a sister Kathleen Foy of West Bend; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were a sister Pearl; a brother, Wilson, and two grandsons.
He had operated various taverns in Port Washington and Belgium, most recently the Bill-Mar Hotel in Port Washington (now the Wilson House).
Bill was a member of VFW 5373 and a WWII veteran.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 11, at 7 p.m. at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington.
Father Allan Sommer will officiate, and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Washington.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
VFW rites will be Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home
