Deril A. Noegel
Deril A. Noegel, 70, of Springfield, Mo., passed away on Friday, Nov. 10, 2000, at the Springfield Health Care Facility.
He was born July 2, 1930, in West Bend, to the late Joseph and Anita (Nee Fohl) Noegel.
After graduating from West Bend High School in 1946, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War.
After his discharge, he worked for General Telephone.
Survivors include two sons, Randy (fiancee Jacqueline Frank) Noegel of West Bend and Todd (Marissa) Noegel of Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren, Merideth Hack of Richmond, Va. and Brooke Noegel of West Bend; a sister, Shirley (Harold) Hefter of Germantown; a brother, Russ (Hildegard) Noegel of Grafton; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 24, at 11:30 a.m. at Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, followed by interment.
Andrew J. Hartmann
Andrew J. Hartmann, 16, of Hartland, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000.
Andy attended Arrowhead High School where he was active in the Academic Decathlon, human powered vehicles and the math team.
He was the precious son of Sandra and Carl Hartmann; loving friend and brother of Joseph Hartmann; dear grandson of Fran Hartmann, John and Lydia Propson. He is further survived by special friends, Kevin and Kay; aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his grandmother, Mabel Hartmann and Nana Loretta Simons.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 25, after 10 a.m. at the church of the Resurrection, W287 N3700 North Shore Drive, Hartland, with a service at 1 p.m.
Interment will be Monday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be set up at M&I Lake Country Bank, Hartland, to be used as scholarships and/or awards in Andy's name, or the Hartland Public Library are appreciated.
The Church and Chapel Funeral Service is serving the family.
Margaret K. Brost, 80
Margaret K. Brost, (nee Miller) of West Bend died Thursday Nov. 23, 2000 at St. Joseph's Community Hospital at the age of 80.
She was born in West Bend on April 16, 1920 to the late Semhard and Carrie (nee Baer) Miller and was married to Milton P. Brost in West Bend on July 22, 1939.
He preceded her in death on Aug. 20, 1999.
Margaret enjoyed her family, sewing and embroidery.
She is survived by five children, Dorothy (George) Johnson of Florida, Milton A. Brost, Mary Brost, Evelyn Brost, and Allan (Lisa) Brost, all of West Bend; five grandchildren, Sherry, Richard, Karen, Kelly and Kay; two great-grandchildren; one brother Ben Miller of West Bend; a brother-in-law Howard Brost of Milwaukee; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Brost, one sister and one brother.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 27, 2000 at 1 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, West Bend.
Rev. Victor Hackbarth will officiate and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Carl J. Heritsch, 86
Carl J. Heritsch, Sr., of West Bend, died Sunday Nov. 19, 2000 at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend at the age of 86 years.
He was born on Dec. 28, 1913 in Milwaukee to the late Frank and Elizabeth (nee Schiesel) Heritsch.
He married Marie Bauer on Oct. 9, 1943 in Milwaukee.
His wife preceded him in death on April 6, 1989.
Carl worked for Keller's Beverage Center in Milwaukee for 35 years.
In 1971 he moved to West Bend, where he owned and operated Carl's Choice Liquor for many years.
He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, West Bend; Knights of Columbus Fr. Casper Rehrl Council #1964, West Bend; and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
He is survived by two sons, Carl (Carol) Heritsch, Jr. and James Heritsch, both of West Bend, two granddaughters, Yvette Heritsch of Washington, D.C., and Sara Heritsch of West Bend, two sisters, Marianne (Franklin) Putnam of Fenton, Mich., and Elizabeth Heritsch of Whitefish Bay, a brother, Alfred Heritsch of Whitefish Bay, sister-in-law Eleanor Heritsch of Milwaukee, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 25, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Parish, West Bend.
Rev. Jeffrey Haines will be the presider and burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
Visitation will be at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home on Friday after 4 p.m. with a prayer vigil at 7:45 p.m., and at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass.
Walter J. Ganns, 97
Walter J. Ganns, formerly of the town of Trenton, died on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000 at St. Mary's-Ozaukee Hospital, Mequon, at the age of 97 years.
He was born on Oct. 23, 1903 in the town of Polk to the late Andrew and Alice (nee Loose) Ganns.
After his marriage to Susie E. House on July 24, 1931 in New London, the couple settled on a farm in the town of Trenton.
Together, they operated the farm and Walter also was a self-employed carpenter and mason contractor.
Susie preceded him in death on Oct. 14, 1993.
Survivors include one sister: Leona Laufer of West Bend; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Two brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 27, 2000 at 4 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, with Marty Laufer, a nephew, officiating. Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Washington County Memorial Park.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 2 p.m. until the time of the services.
Delores Ann "Dolly" Werner
Delores Ann "Dolly" Werner, nee Kempf, 69, of West Bend, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000.
She was born Nov. 23, 1930, in Roanoke, Ill., to the late Dennis and Clara (nee Miller) Kempf, and graduated from St. Francis School of Nursing in Peoria, Ill. in 1951.
On Nov. 20, 1955, she married Joseph A. Werner in Dallas, Texas, and in 1965 the couple moved to West Bend.
Delores worked as a registered nurse anesthetist at St. Joseph's Community Hospital in West Bend, and later as a night nurse supervisor at the Washington County Mental Health Center.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Chris (Becky) Werner of Germantown and Greg (Becky Jean) Werner of West Bend; a daughter, Sr. Kelly Christine Werner of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren; a sister, Barbara (Ivis) Stringer of Washburn, Ill.; a brother, Dale Kempf of Clovis, Calif.; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Dec. 1, at 4:30 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, West Bend.
Rev. Bruce Danford of First Baptist Church, West Bend, and Rev. Verlin Wandrey of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, West Bend, will co-officiate, and cremation will follow the service.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.
Dorothy C. "Dottie" Radermacher
Dorothy C. "Dottie" Radermacher, nee Fraundorf, of Hartford, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, at her daughter's residence, at the age of 75.
She was born Nov. 7, 1925, in Milwaukee, to the late Hugo and Caroline (nee Schmidt) Fraundorf, and married Lawrence Radermacher on Aug. 20, 1947, at St. Kilian's Church, Hartford.
She was a life-long resident of Hartford, and was a member of St. Kilian's Catholic Church.
She worked at Chrysler in Hartford for seven years, and also worked for Hartcraft and was a cook at Vogelsang's Restaurant.
Survivors include two children, Dan (fiancee Lynn Kauper) and Kathy (Juan) Gomez, both of Hartford; three grandchildren, Sarah and John Gomez and Barry (fiancee Nicole Kauper); a brother, Roy Fraundorf of Hartford; a brother-in-law, Tony (Barbara) Radermacher of Menomonee Falls; three sisters-in-law, Helen Radermacher of Slinger, Mary Ann Ritter of Hartford and Geraldine Rhode of Slinger; nieces; nephews; other relative and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband; a sister-in-law, Henrietta Friggs and five brothers-in-law, Clarence Friggs, Francis Radermacher, Douglas Ritter, Robert Rhode and Peter Radermacher.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 11 a.m. at St. Kilian's Catholic Church, Hartford.
Father Michael Petrie will officiate, and interment will be in St. Kilian Cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday at the Shimon Funeral Home in Hartford from 4 to 7 p.m., with a prayer vigil at 6:30 p.m.
