Lucille F. Bernard, 86
Lucille F. Bernard, nee Loehrke, 86, of Mayville, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at Hillside Manor Nursing Home, Beaver Dam.
She was born June 4, 1913, in Fond du Lac, to the late Albert and Mathilda (nee Becker) Loehrke, and married Alphonse "Red" Bernard on Nov. 18, 1930, in Kekoskee. He passed away in 1985.
She had been employed by Mayville Public Schools for 34 years as a cook/server, and was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church Mayville, St. Paul Quilters and the Mayville Fireman's Auxiliary.
Lucille enjoyed crocheting, gardening, crafts and country music.
Survivors include four daughters, Gloria (Wayne) Widrig and June Bernard, both of Mayville, Beverly Bernard of Tucson, Ariz. and Donna Bernard of Hustisford; a daughter-in-law, Susan Bernard of Newark, Ohio; a sister, Marian (Harold) Reinke of Mayville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were a son, Ralph in 1998; a brother; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 27 at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church Mayville at 12:30 p.m. Rev. Geoffrey Hoy will officiate, and burial will be in Union Cemetery, Theresa.
Visitation at the church only will be Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville.
The Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, is serving the family.

Evon Ketelhohn, 57
Evon Ketelhohn, nee Wegenke, 57, of New Fane, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1999, at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac.
She was born on Feb. 21, 1942, in Waupun, to the late Alfred and Stella (nee Towne) Wegenke, and on Jan. 7, 1961, married Leslie Ketelhohn at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Waupun.
Mrs. Ketelhohn was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, New Fane.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Lauri (Kurt) Schmidt of Beechwood; a son, Timothy of Sheboygan; a brother, Harold (Marion) Wegenke of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Arlene (Robert) Albrecht of Oakfield; five grandchildren, Jordan, Lorna and Andrea Schmidt, Eric Marten and Ian Ketelhohn; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.on Saturday, Aug. 28, at St. John Lutheran Church New Fane. Rev. Mark Eckert will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation at the Miller Funeral Home, Kewaskum, will be Friday from 4 o 8 p.m., and at the church on Saturday from noon until the time of services.
Memorials in Evon's memory may be given to St. John Lutheran Church.

William F. Heiden, 78
A funeral service was held yesterday at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, Whitefish Bay, for William F. Heiden, 78, who died on Nov. 28, 1999. Rev. Kenneth Kolberg officiated at the ceremony, with Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home assisting the family with arrangements. Burial was at Trinity Ev. Lutheran of West Mequon Church Cemetery in Mequon.
Mr. Heiden was born April 17, 1921 in Mequon, son of Frank and Hilda (nee Bergholz) Heiden. He married Clara Bellin and he worked his farm for many years.
Survivors include: daughter Marjean (Harland) Wickus; sons Fredrick (friend Carol Scholten) Heiden, James (Dyanne) Heiden, Robert Heiden; son-in-law Michael Kwasinski; grandchildren Brandon, Lisa, Chad, Justin, Amy, David and Jeni; brother Gordon Heiden.
He was preceded in death by his wife Clara and daughter Judith Kwasinski.

Virginia F. Sonnenberg, 75
Virginia F. Sonnenberg, formerly Roehrdanz (nee Serwe) of Kewaskum, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999, at St. Joseph’s Community Hospital, West Bend, at 75.
She was born Dec. 18, 1923, in Lomira to the late Baltus and Helen (nee Moser) Serwe.
She entered the United States Navy and served during World War II and achieved the rank of Sk 2c. After her discharge she settled in West Bend and married William Roehrdanz on Aug. 27, 1947, in Theresa.
They moved to Kewaskum in 1967 and he died on Nov. 12, 1976.
Virginia was employed as a book keeper and also as a teacher’s aide at Kewaskum Elementary School for about eight years.
On Dec. 9, 1978, she married Lester Sonnenberg in Kewaskum, and he died on Oct. 7, 1999.
Survivors include four children, Cheryl (Carl) Klemme of Kewaskum, Janet Riedel of Fond du Lac, Deb, (Syl) Schoofs of Green Bay and Lee Roehrdanz of Tigard, Ore.; two step-children, Nancy (Duane) Simon of West Bend and Barbara (Allen) Peters of Reedsville; a son-in-law, Gerald Haessley of Spooner; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Helen (Franklin) Fischer of Mayville, Margaret (Clarence) Zahringer of Sherwood, and Patricia (Leo) Stoffel of West Bend; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Ed Koller Jr.; and two sisters, Phyllis Guse and Eleanor Welak.
Funeral services will be held on Monday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kewaskum, with Father Mark Jones as the presider. Burial will follow at Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the church only from 11 a.m. Monday until the time of services.
The Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, is serving the family.

Dorothea Haushalter
Dorothea (nee Schwandt) Haushalter, 89, of Campbellsport, died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center, West Bend.
She was born in Campbellsport on July 10, 1910, to the late Albert and Olga (nee Wedde) Schwandt, and graduated from Wisconsin State Teachers College in 1931.
In 1933 Dorothea married Harold R. Haushalter.
She taught music in West Milwaukee for 35 years, retiring in 1976.
She was a member of Campbells-port United Christian Church.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Henrietta Schwandt of Campbellsport; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband on Dec. 26, 1964, and her twin brother, Albert, in 1997.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. at the Campbellsport United Christian Church. Rev. Stevens Hilyard will officiate, and burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Campbellsport.
Visitation at the church only will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of services.
Memorials to the Campbellsport United Christian Church are appreciated.
The Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, is assisting the family.

Margaret A. Dondlinger, 92
Margaret A. Dondlinger, nee Widhalm, 92, of St. Lawrence, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999, at the Samaritan Health Center, West Bend.
She was born Jan. 16, 1907, in Humphrey, Neb., to the late August and Helen (nee Lohaus) Widhalm, and married Leo D. Dondlinger on Aug. 18, 1931, in Humphrey. He passed away Sept. 7, 1987.
Following their marriage, the couple lived in Geneva, Neb., moving to Port Washington in the early 1940s and later farming in the St. Lawrence area until the early 1960s.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and past member of the Christian Mother's Society.
Survivors include two sons, David (Marilyn) of West Bend and Gerald (Jackie) of Cary, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Frances Dondlinger of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cecelia (Andy) Weiss of Humphrey and Esther Polityke of Omaha, Neb.; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were three sons, John, Richard and Raymond; two sisters; and four brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic church St. Lawrence.
Father Alois VanBeek will officiate and interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Visitation at the church only will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
Memorials to St. Lawrence Catholic Church are appreciated.
The Phillip Funeral Home, Slinger, is serving the family.

Mabel M. Stahl, 95
A funeral service was held on Dec. 4 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grafton for Mabel M. Stahl, 95, who died on Dec. 1, 1999.
Fr. Mike Barrett officiated at the ceremony, with arrangements handled by Mueller Funeral Home, Grafton.
Burial was at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee.
Mrs. Stahl was born Oct. 23, 1904 in Waukegan, Ill., daughter of Martin and Marth (nee Jurasinski) Masonic.
She married Edward Stahl and worked as a homemaker. She attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Survivors include: daughter Carol (William) Meyer, Wheaton, Ill.; granddaughter Laurel (Michael) Zdeblick; great-grandson William M. Zdeblick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Stahl.
Memorials to the Hospice of DuPage are appreciated.
