Gerald (Jerry) K. Douglas
Gerald (Jerry) K. Douglas, a life long resident of Waukesha found peace with the Lord in his home on Friday, August 1, 2003 at the age of 70 years. Jerry was born on June 25, 1933 in Waukesha, the son of John and Muriel (nee Sarah) Douglas.

He was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America. He was one of the founders of the Waukesha Old Car Club and was honored to serve as the first president. Jerry was a member of First United Methodist Church in Waukesha and proudly served in the US Army. He retired as a Service Manager from Heiser Ford. Jerry's life revolved around his three best pals, his grandchildren. He was a handyman, no job being too big, fixing cars was his favorite. A special thanks to Dr. Kern and Mary and Dr. Saeian, Paul and Katie.

Jerry will be sadly missed by his wife Marlene, who Jerry said was "My soul and companion through everything", his daughters; Terri M. ( James) Kunde of Waukesha and Tami J. Haupt of Waukesha, his grandchildren; Douglas and Zachary Kunde and Claire Anne Haupt, his brothers; Robert (Joan) Douglas of Waukesha, Edward (Elaine) Douglas of Waukesha, William (Joy) Douglas of Florida and Ronald (Judith) Douglas of Beaver Dam, his sister, June (Richard) Jacobson of Loves Park, IL and his sister and brother in law, Audrey (Wencil) Jones of Waukesha. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his in laws, Wallace and Clara Dibben, and his loving son in law Randy L. Haupt.

Funeral services for Jerry will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church (121 Wisconsin Ave., Waukesha). Pastor Kelly Fowler will officiate. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2003 at First United Methodist Church from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials appreciated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (W223 N608 Saratoga Dr. Waukesha, WI 53186) and the American Diabetes Association (2323 N. Mayfair Road, Suite 502, Wauwatosa, WI 53226).

Marie Hockwalt
Marie Hockwalt, of Pewaukee, born on April 12, 1915 in Menomonee Falls, WI, the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (nee Reichel) Schmidt, died on Friday, August 1, 2003 at the age of 88 years.

She was a member of Christ Ev. Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Meadowbrook Homemaker's Club and active in the Meadowbrook 4-H Club with her family. She took care of her parents and father-in-law for years.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Robert "Bob" whom she married on January 11, 1933 in West Allis, her son, Dennis (Kay) Hockwalt of Waukesha, her daughter-in-law, Mary Hockwalt of Walnut, CA, her grandchildren; Dawn Hockwalt of Marshall, Chad (Carol) Hockwalt of Pewaukee, Amy, Timothy, Megan, Lee, Greta Hockwalt all of Walnut, CA, her great grandchildren; Jasmine Martinez-Hockwalt of Walnut, CA and Dennis J. Hockwalt of Pewaukee, her sisters; Lydia (Jud) Mayhew of Hartland and Hilda Schilz of West Allis, her brother-in-law, Martin Hockwalt, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Ron Hockwalt, her parents, her brothers; Jake Schmidt, Robert Schmidt and David Schmidt, her sisters; Elizabeth Laabs and Molly Conrad, sisters-in-law, Doris Schmidt and Vi Hockwalt, her brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Millie Hockwalt.

Funeral services for Marie were held on Sunday, August 3, 2003 at Christ Ev.

Lutheran Church in Pewaukee. Pastor Richard Krause officiated. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Memorials appreciated to the Ron Hockwalt "Make a Difference" Scholarship Fund, c/o Walnut Valley Educational Foundation, 880 South Lemon Ave., Walnut, CA 91789.

Arline Pearl Horn
Arline Pearl Horn, of Waukesha, died Sunday April 27, 2003 at Linden Grove Health Care Facility in Waukesha at the age of 86. Arline was born November 25, 1916 in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin a daughter of the late Peter and Anna Lydia (nee Nichols) Mengsol.

She graduated from Stoughton High School and attended Whitewater Teacher's College. On September 2, 1939, she married Arthur Henry Horn in Stoughton, Wisconsin. . She is a member of First United Methodist Church in Waukesha and the Ina Jay Reid #55 Order of the Eastern Star in Waukesha. Arline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur Henry Horn on June 23, 1973, her brother: John Mengsol, and one son-in-law: Eric Packard.

Arline is survived by her 4 children: Richard (Judith) Horn of Ohio, Sandra (Thomas) Kovacs of Madison, Wisconsin, Paula (Gary Sr.) Kohler of Winter Springs, Florida, Mary Packard of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, her nine grandchildren: John (Tricia) Horn of Columbus, Ohio, Bill Horn of Naples, Florida, Susan (Arthur) Wachowski of Huntley, Illinois, Chad Kovacs of DeForest, Illinois, Penny (David) Mander of Winter Springs, Florida, Peggy (Ken) Hughley of Winter Springs, Florida, Gary Jr. (Jacqueline) Kohler of Merton, Wisconsin, Marcus Packard of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Alexis Packard of Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Arline is also survived by her 11 great grandchildren: Amber and Taylor Horn, Cassandra, Courtney, Austyn, Alyssa, Caralyn, Michelle, Kaleb, Miranda, and Tyler along with other relatives and friends.

The funeral celebrating Arline's life will be held Thursday May 1, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church (121 Wisconsin Avenue Waukesha). The Rev. Kelly Fowler will be the officiant. Friends may call at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home (237 N. Moreland Blvd Waukesha) from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. on Wednesday April 30, 2003. The Ina Jay Reid #55 Order of the Eastern Star in Waukesha. will have a service at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday March 30, 2003. A second visitation will be held on Thursday May 1st, 2003 at the First United Methodist Church from noon until the time of service at 1:00 P. M. Entombment will be in Wisconsin Memorial in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Meals on Wheels (725 American Avenue Waukesha, WI. 53188), Home Delivery from Waukesha Public Library (320 Wisconsin Avenue Waukesha, WI. 53186), or the Music Department at First United Methodist Church in Waukesha.

Belle G. Ensley
Belle G. Ensley, of Waukesha, born on January 28, 1912 in Indiana , the daughter of Leroy and Ora Mae (nee Grant) Graham, died on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at Linden Grove Health Care Center in Mukwonago at the age of 91 years.

She loved to swim at the YWCA and play cards. Cribbage was her favorite game. She was always there when she was needed and was generous to her family.

She will be missed by her daughter-in-law, Ora Ensley of East Troy, her sister-in-law, Julia Graham of St. Croix, WI, her grandchildren; Wendy (Mark) Speener of West Bend and Michael (Shannon) Ensley of Fox Lake, WI, her great grandchildren; Jake, Wyatt and Miranda Speener, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1968, her son, Gerald, her daughter, Regina Sayles, her grandson, Ralph Sayles, her brothers; Bill and Enoch and sisters; Mary and Florence.

A Funeral Service for Belle will be on Friday, May 2, 2003 at 1:30 pm at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Visitation will be on Friday, May 2, 2003 from 12:00 noon until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park following the service. Memorials to the Easter Seals or Camp Waubeka would be appreciated.

Betty La Verne Godersky
Betty La Verne Godersky, lifelong resident of Waukesha, died on Friday, July 11, 2003 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 78. Betty was born on November 4, 1924 in Waukesha, WI the daughter of Paul and Augusta (nee Yopps) Dowling.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Betty was a people person who enjoyed her work at Westmoreland as a Nurses aide for about 10 years and then went on to work at Avalon Manor for about 15 years until her retirement.

Betty will be sadly missed by her husband of over 47 years, Robert, her sons Bob Godersky of Waukesha and Danny (Julie O'Connor) Godersky of Waukesha, her grandchildren Samuel Paul and Megan Elizabeth, her sister Eleanor Marose of Waukesha, her brother Fred " Fritz" (Patty) Dowling of Waukesha, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Betty will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Reverend Robert Wilch will be officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the American Diabetes Association (2323 N. Mayfair Road, Suite 502 Wauwatosa, WI 53226-1507) or St. Mark's Lutheran Church (424 Hyde Park Ave. Waukesha, WI 53188).

Charles Le Roy Isenhart
Charles Le Roy Isenhart, Sr., of West Allis, formerly of Waukesha, died on Sunday, July 13, 2003 at Allis Care Center at the age of 81 years. Charles was born on Nov 25, 1921 the son of Edward and Dora Isenhart.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army, worked for Krause Milling and retired from Methodist Manor in West Allis.

Charles will be sadly missed by his children, Diane Malone of Waukesha, Donna Wren of Beloit, Charles Jr. of Waukesha, Patricia (William) Moore of Waukesha and John (Joleen) of Spooner his sister, Patricia Haddenham of Douglas, Wyoming 19 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Dora & Edward, 3 sisters, 6 brothers, his granddaughter, Michelle and great granddaughter, Angela.

The funeral service for Charles will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Chaplain Gordon Boyce will officiate. Friends may call on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park on Wednesday, July 16 at 11:00 a.m. Please meet at the main gates of the cemetery.

Carl Frank Mueller
Carl Frank Mueller, of Waukesha born on April 27, 1918 in Eagle, WI, the son of Herman and Emma (nee Turloff) Mueller died on Friday, July 4, 2003 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 85.

Carl worked at Delavan Deaf School for 13 years then moved to Waukesha in 1953 and worked at Aeroshade for 25 years until he retired. In his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his wife making windmills and throw rugs. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Delavan.

Carl will be sadly missed by his wife of 60 years Blondina (nee Dobbratz) of Waukesha, his son Franklin Dobbratz of Waukesha, his sister Minnie Du Bridge of Steger, IL, his brother Edward (Wealthy) Mueller of Eagle, his sisters-in-law Verona Mueller of Waukesha and Betty Mueller of Janesville, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers William and Reinhart and his sisters Meta and Alma.

Funeral services for Carl will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at 12:00 p.m. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Pastor William Palmar will be officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday July 9, 2003 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Internment will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery.

David A. Lamp
David A. Lamp of Waukesha died Thursday March 13, 2003 at his home at the age of 82 years. David was born July 16, 1920 in Delafield, Wisconsin a son of the late Arthur and Orlanda (nee Fehrman) Lamp.

He married Eulalia M. Lamp on February 5, 1948 in Waukesha. He proudly served his country in the Army from September 12, 1942 to January 13, 1946. He retired from Grede Foundry after working 31 years. David was an avid hunter and fisherman who especially enjoyed trips to Canada and out West. He had also been active in fast pitch and slow pitch softball in his younger days. He was a family oriented man who is loved by his family. He was preceded in death by his wife: Eulalia on August 7, 2000, his daughter Heidi Sommer on March 18, 2002 and a brother Lawrence Lamp.

David is survived by his seven (7) children: Peter (Sandra) Lamp of Waukesha, Virginia (Douglas) Wallerman of East Troy, Wisconsin, Darrell Lamp of Waukesha Dale Lamp of Waukesha, Annette Stiglitz of Watertown, Wisconsin, Daniel (Joy) Lamp of Sussex, and James Lamp of Waukesha. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. He is also survived by his 8 brothers and sisters: Dorothy (Roland) Haut of Muskego, Herman Lamp of Reading, California, Jeanette Barton of Reading, California, June Bralick of Waukesha, Arthur (Marge) Lamp. Jr. of Genesee, Francis (Jeanette) Lamp of Dousman, and Raymond (Kay) Lamp of Watertown, Wisconsin. He is further survived by his sister-in-law: Alice Lamp of Waukesha and a son-in-law: Tim Sommer of New Berlin, Wisconsin along with other relatives and friends.

The funeral celebrating David's life will be held on Monday March 17, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home on Moreland Blvd. The Rev. Jim Durnil will be the officiant. Burial will be Tuesday March 18, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Wisconsin Memorial in Brookfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Moreland Blvd. from 4:00 p.m. on Monday March 17, 2003 until the time of service.

Barbara Mae Nelson
Barbara Mae Nelson, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2003 at home at the age of 63 years. She was born on January 12, 1940 in Ashland, WI the daughter of William and Christine England.

She was united in marriage to John K. Nelson on June 29, 1963. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, her parents and sister, Madaline.

She is survived by her children; Chevelle Nelson and grandson Tony “Snickle Fritz” J. Nelson, Christine (David) Hagen and Dawn Nelson all of Waukesha, her brothers; Jim (Maureen) England of Rocklin, CA, Edward England of Rhinelander, WI and William T. England of Cable, WI, her brother-in-law, Raymond Nelson of Ashland, WI, her sisters-in-law; Betty Lou (Al) Rolerat of Neshkoro, WI, Jerry (Joyce) Nelson of Germantown, WI, Jackie (Dick) Mortensen of Coon Rapids, MN, Nancy (Harold) King of Hoyt Lakes, MN, Kathleen (Duane) Schraufnagel of Princeton, MN, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be on Friday from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. A Funeral Mass for Barbara will be on Friday, September 12, 2003 at 1:00 pm at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 Hwy 59, Waukesha. Interment will follow in the Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the family to establish a memorial fund.
