Wilmer Krueger
Wilmer Krueger, 85, Forestville, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at the Dorchester Health and Rehab after a brief illness.
He was born Feb. 9, 1918, in Forestville, to Michael and Mary (Dehos) Krueger. His entire life was spent living in Door County. He farmed the family farm in Forestville until 1954. Wilmer then worked at Krueger Construction in Algoma, Olson Construction and PBI in Sturgeon Bay until he retired. Wilmer was a faithful member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Forestville, serving many years on various committees. He could be seen taking daily walks throughout the village of Forestville or going for a drive in the country. He especially enjoyed visiting with his "breakfast friends" at the local restaurants.
He is survived by his devoted sister, Lorraine Mueller, Forestville. He will also be sadly missed by his nephews and nieces, Earl B. (Dee) Krueger, Algoma; Robert (Nila) Schley, Carol (Don) Krueger, all of Forestville; Shirley (Elmer) Tanck, Sturgeon Bay; Roger (Cindy) Kuehn, Forestville; Jane (Don) Clarke, Stur-geon Bay; Margie (Lynn) Nelson, Fish Creek; Mary (Ron) Kramer, Sturgeon Bay; Joy (Dave) Tomjanovich, Sturgeon Bay; Steve Kuehn, Egg Harbor; Sue (Bill) Karas, Sturgeon Bay; and Robin (Dean) Delfosse, Brussels.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Earl Krueger; sisters, Leone Schley, Eva Kuehn and Alice Krueger; brothers-in-law, Leonard Schley, Frank Kuehn, Wilbert Mueller; and sister-in-law, Mildred Krueger.
Friends called at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Forestville, from 11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 25, until the time of services at 1 p.m., with Rev. David Luhrs officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
The family of Wilmer wishes to extend a very special thanks to Bonnie Johnson, Pastor David Luhrs, the staff at the Dorchester Health and Rehab and Unity Hospice.

Adam Miller
Adam Miller, 24, Algoma, died Sunday, May 25, 2003, at St. Vincent Hospital, as a result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born Dec. 21, 1978, in Green Bay to Larry Miller and Patricia (Cornish) Vlieger. Adam served in the U.S. Marines from 1997 to 2002. He was employed by N.E.W. Plastics, Luxemburg. Adam's first love was motorcycling. He was creative, talented, free-spirited and lived life to the fullest. He had a warm smile for everyone.
Survivors include his mom, Patricia (Bill) Vlieger, Illinois; Larry (Cathy) Miller, Algoma; one brother, Ty Miller, and special friend, Ericka, Algoma; two stepbrothers, Ben Vlieger, Milwaukee; Brian Wazak, Algoma; two stepsisters, Katie (Brett) Wallace, Nebraska; Angela (John) Betka, Coleman; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Cornish, Green Bay; four nieces and one nephew; many aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Larry Harvey; maternal grandfather, Robert Cornish; paternal grandparents, Harvey and Arleen Miller.
Friends may call at Wiesner and Massart Funeral Home, Casco, from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, and again Thursday until 10:30 a.m. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 29, at St. Mary cemetery, with military rites. Fr. Bill Kuhr will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary cemetery, Algoma.
Helen R. Pravechek
Helen R. Pravechek, age 91, formerly of Mishicot, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at the Hamilton Memorial Home in Two Rivers.
Helen was born Feb. 26, 1912, in the town of Eaton to the late Stanley and Elizabeth (Krupa) Nowicki and has been a lifelong area resident. She married
Jerry Pravechek Sr. on June 1, 1938, at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in the town of Eaton. He preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 1999.
She and her husband owned and operated dairy farms, first in Kewaunee, and later in Mishicot, and retired from farming in 1976. The couple also owned and operated, along with their son, Jerry, Pravechek Sales and Service, a farm equipment business, where she was the bookkeeper.
She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Society of the church. She was also a member of the After the Sunset Homemakers Club. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, canning and spending time with her family.
Survivors include one daughter, Connie Pravechek, of Oak Creek; two sons, Fred Pravechek, of Two Rivers; and Jerry Pravechek, of Mishicot; three grandchildren, Courtney VandenRidge, of Two Rivers; Aaron Pravechek, of Two Rivers; and Victoria Pravechek, of Arizona; one great-granddaughter, Keyelea. She is further survived by one brother, Ben Nowicki, of Green Bay; and by one sister, Lorraine Sevcik, Kewaunee; nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends called after 9 a.m. on Monday, May 26, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot, until the time of service. There was no Sunday evening visitation. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, at the church, with Msgr. James Feely officiating, with entombment in the Calvary Mausoleum in Manitowoc.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
The Lambert Funeral Home of Mishicot assisted the Pravechek family with funeral arrangements.
Edward Wendricks
Edward Wendricks Jr., 69, Casco, died Saturday, May 24, 2003.
He was born Feb. 4, 1934, in the town of Lincoln to Edward Wendricks Sr. and Ruby (DeChamps). Ed was employed by Procter & Gamble for 33 years until his retirement in 1992. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1956.
He married
Beverly Widell March 2, 1957, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco. She preceded him in death Aug. 14, 1999. Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, helping people, traveling and playing with his grandkids.
Survivors include his children, Debbie (Mark) Poradek, Randy (Lori) Wendricks, Jim (Shelly) Wendricks, all of Green Bay; Brian (Debbie) Wendricks, Casco; his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Sarah, Isaiah, Brandon, Rochelle, Alexander, Matthew and Conner Wendricks, Amanda Vlies, Andy Nettekoven and Ashley Huntley; mother, Ruby Wendricks, Casco; brothers and sisters, Roland (LaVerne) Wendricks, Luxemburg; Armand (Pat) Wendricks, Crandon; Joyce (Tom) Fitzgerald, Colorado; Ronald (Phoebie) Wendricks, Rio Creek; Judy (Tom) Mix, Green Bay; and Sandy (Frank) DeBroux, Casco; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Buddy Dettman, Green Bay; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gust and Ann Widell.
Friends called at Wiesner & Massart Funeral Home, Casco, from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, and again Wednesday morning until 10:15 a.m. Wake service was held at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco, with Fr. John Doerfler officiating. Entomb-ment was in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

Ethel B. Brauer
Ethel B. Brauer, 85, Green Bay, formerly of Algoma, died Sunday, May 18, 2003, at the Highland Health Care Center. She was born Aug. 14, 1917, in the town of Pierce to Frank Sr. and Bessie (Vania) Michaletz. She married
Joseph Brauer Feb. 18, 1936, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Algoma. Ethel worked at the Algoma Net Co., then at Wood Industries for many years. After that, she delivered Meals on Wheels for Elderly Services and did bookwork for St. Vincent DePaul in Algoma. Ethel was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Rosary Society.
Ethel is survived by one daughter, Darlene (Norman) Petry, Algoma; two sons, Dennis (Karen) Brauer, Beaver Dam; and David Brauer and special friend, Judy Pagel, Green Bay; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Melva Mura, Algoma; Lorraine Neuzil, Algoma; and Lillian (George) Pontzloff, Baileys Harbor; one brother, John (Kathleen) Michaletz, Algoma; one sister-in-law, Myra Micha-letz, Green Bay.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph, Feb. 25, 1968; one grandchild; four brothers, Frank Jr., Edward, Ralph and Norman Michaletz; two infant sisters, Margaret and Mary Jane; four other sisters, Alice Laskowski, Anna Magle, Stella Kostichka and Mildred Zuege.
Friends called at the SCHINDERLE FUNERAL HOME, ALGOMA, from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, and after 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Algoma, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with Father Bill Kuhr officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Parish wake service was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Ray Denil
Ray Denil, 82, formerly of Brussels, passed away at the Cobblestone Terrace in Kewaunee on Tuesday, May 13, 2003. He was born on Oct. 14, 1920, in Duvall to Harry and Odile (Wautier) Denil. He was a lifelong resident of the Brussels area. Ray farmed for many years, was a welder at Christi Corporation and Kewaunee Engineering and was a truck driver for Raton Manufacturing of Rio Creek. Ray enjoyed farming and making rugs in his spare time. He was a member of the local Boilermakers Union of Kewaunee.
On Oct. 30, 1940, he married
Beatrice Rass in Namur. She preceded him in death on Oct. 22, 1991.
Survivors include five sons and one daughter, Leland (Helen) Denil, Green Bay; Greg (Theresa) Denil, Kewaunee; Craig (Marilyn) Denil, Brussels; Kerry Denil, Brussels; Brian (Marion) Denil, Kewaunee; and Pamela (Tim) Jeanquart, Brussels; a daughter-in-law, Jean (Rich) Kabitzke, Brown Deer; 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Louis (Naomi) Denil, Sturgeon Bay; Hubert (Della) Denil, Manitowoc; Jim (Dorothy) Denil, Appleton; Walter (Mildred) Denil, Forestville; special friends, Margaret Cooney, Pete (Emma) DeJardin and Doris Wendricks.
He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Leslie; an infant son, Rodney; and a infant daughter, Mary.
Funeral services were held on Friday, May 16, at 11 a.m. at St. Francis and St. Mary Parish in Brussels, with Rev. Pius Cotter officiating. Entomb-ment was in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Friends called Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A prayer service was conducted at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Ethel Derenne
Ethel Derenne, 87, a resident of Dyckes-ville, died early Sunday morning, May 18, 2003, at a Green Bay hospital. She was born Jan. 8, 1916, in the town of Lincoln, to the late William and Ella (Fett) Kumm.Ethel married
Goldie Derenne in 1934 in the town of Lincoln. He preceded her in death in 1989.Ethel and Goldie worked together on many ventures over the years. They supported each other in the good times and the bad until their retirement.Ethel was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Dyckesville.
She is survived by one daughter, Kay Derenne, Green Bay; one sister, Arvilla Colle, Milwaukee; nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Linda Moudry, Green Bay.
She was preceded in death by a foster brother, William Mullen; and a foster sister, Evelyn Kar-nopp.
Friends called at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, Green Bay, from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dyckes-ville, until the time of Mass. Parish wake service was conducted by Parish Director Sr. Marlene Dimmerling at 7 p.m. Tuesday.Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with Rev. Ethel's family would like toextend their sincere thanks to the staff at Anna's House and the nurses and staff of St. Vincent Hospital's seventh floor. Their care and concern for Ethel will not be forgotten. Ethel will be sadly missed by Dolly.
Victor Koudelka
Victor Koudelka, 83, Kewaunee, died Friday, May 16, 2003, at the Kewaunee Care Center. He was born July 12, 1919, in West Kewaunee, to the late Joseph and Frances (Blahnik) Koudelka Sr.He married
Stella Borlee on Sept. 25, 1943, at St. Lawrence Church, Stangelville.
Victor had a great love for the outdoors and animals, and especially loved deer hunting at Pembine in his early years. He had a special love for his two dogs, Peggy and Lindy, and spending time with his family. He retired from Leyse Aluminum after 40 years. He was a lifetime member of the Belgian Club of Brussels.
Survivors include his wife, Stella; two daughters and one son-in-law, Karen and Bill Brusky, Nancy Wech, all of Kewaunee; six grandchildren, Lisa (Scott) Gerdmann, Craig (Chris) Brusky, Chris (Kristy) Wech, Jon (Lori) Wech, Tim Wech and special friend, Marcy, Kari Brusky; nine great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Leone Koudelka, West Kewaunee; one sister and brother-in-law, Irene and George Jisa, Montpelier; one sister-in-law, Adeline Koudelka. Victor was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Jr., Art and Edward Sr. Koudelka; two sisters, Anna Hardtke and Evelyn Swagel; one grandson, Bill Brusky.
Friends called after 4 p.m., Sunday, May 18, and until 10 a.m. Monday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee. Parish wake service was at 7 p.m. Sunday. Funeral was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 19, at Holy Rosary Church, with Fr. Terry LaCombe officiating.Burial was in Holy Rosary cemetery, Kewaunee.
