The Funeral Service will be held at Holly Funeral
Home in Waupaca at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November
24th, with Reverend Barry Shaw officiating.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11am -2
p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the
Hilltop cemetery Town Saxeville, Waushara County,
Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has
been established.
David D. Ruck, age 18, of Wild Rose, formerly of
Oshkosh, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday,
November 18th, 2007 at Theda Clark Regional
Medical Center in Neenah.
David was born in Neenah, Wisconsin on October 3,
1989, he was the son Daniel G. and Lorie L.
(Larson) Ruck. He attended Oshkosh North High
School and transferred to Wild Rose High School
in 2006. He enjoyed mechanics, snowmobiling,
boating and four wheeling
He is survived by Parents: Daniel & Lorie
Ruck, Wild Rose; Brother: Mitchell Ruck, at
home; Grandparents: Thomas Larson, Oshkosh;
Gerald Ruck, Three Lakes; Grandmother: Cheryl
Ruck, Oshkosh. Half Sisters: Chelsea &
Gabrielle Delzer, Berlin; Great Grandparents:
Dorothy Ruck, Oshkosh; Charles & Dolly Albashian,
Omro; Aunt: & Uncles: Becky & Steve Sattler,
Wild Rose ; Jay (Jamie) Larson, La Crosse;
Kenrick Larson, Neenah; Step Great Grandmother:
Mary Laatsch, Oshkosh. He is also survived by
Aunts, Uncles, cousins, other relatives and
friends. He was preceded in death by his
Grandparents: Marilu Ruck, Nancy Larson. Great
Grandparents: Milton Ruck, Raymond & Verna
Laatsch, Marie & Harold Larson.

Catholic Community in Waupaca at 11 AM on Monday,
November 26th, 2007, with Father Brian Belongia
officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside
Memorial Park, Waupaca at a later date. Visitation
will be held on Monday, from 10 AM until the time of
service at the church.
Lucille D. Cormican, age 94, of Waupaca, passed
away on Tuesday, November 20th, 2007 at Bethany
Home. She was born in Columbus, WI. on June 28,
1913, she was the daughter of the late William
and Laura (Fox) Damm.
Lucille married
John Cormican on November 4, 1939
in Waupaca. He preceded her in death on April 4,
1999. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene
Catholic Community in Waupaca.
She is survived by a Sister: Verna Hart,
Waupaca, WI., and a Brother: Willis (Caroline)
Damm, Columbus, WI. She is further survived by
numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalene
Catholic Community in Waupaca at 11 AM on Monday,

Veterans Home – Main Chapel on Tuesday, November
27, 2007 at 11:00 AM, with Father Paul Vanden
Hogen, officiating. Inurnment will be at Arlington
National cemetery. Friends may call at the
Wisconsin Veterans Home – Main Chapel on Tuesday
from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. A memorial fund has been
established to the Wisconsin Veterans Home
Recreation Department in the name of Ruth E.
Fountain. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is

RUTH E. FOUNTAIN
KING, WI.
Age 80 – died on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at
the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, WI. She was
born on January 4, 1927 in Lancaster, WI,
daughter of the late Walter and Leona (Tanner)
Beetham. She married
David H. Fountain on July 3,
1948 in Lancaster, WI.
Ruth is survived by her husband: David, her
children: Janice Fountain of Downer’s Grove, IL,
Lt. Col. Mary (Capt. (Ret.) Garry) Yusckat of
Fayetteville, NC, Nancy (Col. Paul) Laes of St.
Paul, MN, and Col. (Ret.) Walter (Carol) Fountain
of Green Bay, WI. Ruth is also survived by nine
grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her parents.
Ruth received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education
from UW – Madison and her Master’s Degree in
Environmental Sciences from UW – Green Bay. Ruth
was a Registered Dietician and had been a
consultant with the food service departments of
various Northeastern Wisconsin nursing homes and
the Pulaski, WI School District. Ruth
particularly enjoyed teaching and was a
substitute teacher in the Green Bay, WI schools
for many years before she taught nutrition at UW
–Green Bay for about 13 years. She had also
taught classes on the Menominee Indian
Reservation in Keshena through UW – Green Bay.
She was always very proud of growing up on a
family farm and was a lifetime member of the FFA.
In showing off her exceptional skill in
evaluating animals, Ruth caused quite a stir at
the 1941 International Live Stock Exhibition in
Chicago as the only girl selected to compete in
the junior-class of the livestock judging
competition. She had been active with the Girl
Scouts’ Lac Baie Council as a highly respected
troop leader. While a member at the Wisconsin
Veterans Home, she enjoyed volunteering her time
helping with various activities and served as the
members’ representative on the Ethics
Committee.

followed by a Memorial of Song and Remembrance.
JACOB BALDUS
We honor the memory of Jacob Baldus, who died
November 19, 2007 in Broomfield, CO. Born" target="_blank">Born
October 30, 1970, he grew up in rural Wild Rose
and spent his early adult years raising his
family in Neenah, WI.
He is survived by his parents: John and Mary
Ellen, a brother: Zacary, sons: Gage, age 12 and
Maguire, age 9, the boy's mother: Kate, his
girlfriend: Amy, many relatives and many
friends.
In celebration of his life, there will be a
gathering at Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose with
a Greeting Period Saturday, Dec. 1 from 2-4 PM
followed by a Memorial of Song and
Remembrance.

Mary E. Holly, age 80, of Mesa, AZ formerly of
Waupaca passed away on Saturday, November 24,
2007 at Hearth Stone of Mesa. Mary was born in
Weyauwega, WI on April 5, 1927, the daughter of
the late Norman J. and Caroline E. (Goodland)
Jardine. On April 3, 1948, she married
Thomas W.
Holly in Waupaca. She is a member of Crystal Lake
United Methodist Church.
Mary is survived by her husband: Thomas W. Holly
of Mesa, AZ; her children: Susan (Tom) Newman of
Wisconsin Rapids, WI; John (Laura) Holly of Green
Bay, WI; Nancy (Randy) Binting of Gilbert, AZ and
Thomas R. (Kim) Holly of Rome, Georgia. Also
surviving are nine grandchildren: Brian (Jen)
Holly; Erica (Taylor) Olsen; Holly & Anna
Binting; Asa & Aaron Holly and Kevin, Andrew &
Nathan Holly and her sister: Nancy (Dick) Furer
of Green Valley, Az. A Memorial Visitation will
be on Saturday, Dec. 29 from 2 to 4 PM at Holly
Funeral Home in Waupaca. Interment will be in
the Lakeside Memorial Park, Waupaca. In lieu of
flowers, a Memorial Fund has been established in
Mary's name.

A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, December 3, 2007
at 11:00 AM at Mother of Good Counsel Catholic
Church in Milwaukee, WI. Father Robert Marsicek
will preside. A visitation will be held on Friday,
November 30, 2007 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Holly
Funeral Home in Waupaca and also on Monday from
10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at
Pinelawn Memorial Park in Milwaukee following the
services on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials
have been established to the Community Hospice
Foundation, Inc. and to the American Lung Cancer
Society. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is
assisting the family with arrangements.
