Marvin Gene Angeledes of Auburn died Dec. 7. He was 65.
He was born Oct. 30, 1939.
He was an engineer, retiring from Boeing in February 2000.
Survivors include his children, Eric, Mark and Delia; six grandchildren; and brothers Ray and Charles.
Burial was Dec. 13 at Mountain View cemetery in Auburn. Arrangements were by Yahn and Son Funeral Home.
Garniet, Bertie Wednesday, 08 Dec 2004
Bertie L. Garniet died Dec. 8 in Port Angeles Care Center. She was 90.
She was born Feb. 5, 1914 in Daysville, Tenn.
She worked for Chrysler Corp. for 28 years until her retirement on June 30, 1972.
She was a member of Federal Way Baptist Church and active in the Federal Way Senior Center before moving to Port Angeles.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Angelo Intorre and Aubrey Garniet; brothers Ira, Paul, Willard and Arthur Golliher; and sisters Edna Davis, Ethel Ezell, Alice Honeycutt, Martha Carter, Lucinda Golliher, Macel Hamby and Jennie Golliher.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 20 at Laurel Park Assisted Living, 1122 E. Park Ave., in Port Angeles. Interment will be at Washington Memorial Park in SeaTac.

Hake, Sybil Friday, 03 Dec 2004
Sybil Hake died Dec. 3 in Federal Way. She was 63.
Survivors include her sisters, Arlene Lawson and Jean Howson; 10 nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins, aunts and an uncle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Agnes Hake, and a brother, Rodell Hake.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Dec. 9 at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial, 16445 International Blvd. in SeaTac.

Weigel, Elizabeth Sunday, 21 Nov 2004
Elizabeth “Betty” Weigel died Nov. 21 in Des Moines. She was 85.
She was born June 9, 1919 in Shell Butte, N.D., and was a 41-year resident of Auburn, Des Moines and Federal Way.
Survivors include sons Clarence Weigel of Des Moines and Larry Weigel of Federal Way; daughters Helen Rosnau and Gladys Madsen, both of Auburn, and Marge Bauman of Puyallup; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, on Aug. 31, 2004.
Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 29 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, followed by entombment at Gethsemane cemetery in Federal Way.

Todd, John Thursday, 25 Nov 2004
John K. Todd died Nov. 25 at his home in Federal Way. He was 84.
He was a 49-year resident of the south King County area.
He was born Nov. 6, 1920 in Kansas City, Mo..
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was an air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration for 28 years until his retirement in 1974.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Williams; a son, Kevin Todd, and step-son Kris Nelson, both of Renton; daughters Julie Wendtz of Bothell and Zoe Ann Lemley and Jennifer Hoehn, both of Sand Point, Idaho; two sisters in California; and 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
An urn committal service is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Dec. 7 at Tahoma National cemetery.
Arrangements are by Yahn and Son Funeral Home in Auburn.
Gallian, William Tuesday, 23 Nov 2004
William “Ed” Gallian died Nov. 23 in Auburn. He was 69.
He was born Sept. 9, 1935 in White Lake, Wis., and was a 63-year resident of Federal Way and the Auburn West Hill area.
He married
Sherian Markham on June 22, 1957, and was a truck driver with Seagale Trucking Co. until his retirement in 1993.
He was a 25-year member of Federal Way Pyramid Masonic Lodge, receiving the Hiram Award from the lodge. He also was active in the Afifi Shrine, working for the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
Survivors include his wife; sons Edward “Frank” Gallian of Roy, James “Jim” Gallian of Auburn and Dale Gallian of Tacoma; a daughter, Sandra Nouri of Auburn; siblings Jack Gallian, Arlene Jagow and Sharon Horoski, all of Enumclaw; and 10 grandchildren.
A service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Dec. 8 at Pyramid Masonic Lodge, 1700 S. 340th St. in Federal Way.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital; and Rainier Oncology, Memorial Fund, 222 Second St. SE, Auburn, WA 98002.

Ruoss, Eileen Wednesday, 17 Nov 2004
Eileen Grace Aro Ruoss died Nov. 17 at her home in Federal Way.
She was 79.
She was born Sept. 28, 1925 in Rockville Center, N.Y.
Following college and nursing training, she moved to Colorado, where she first worked as a nurse in Glenwood Springs and met and married
John “Jack” Ruoss.
After a short stay in Oregon, her family moved to Federal Way in 1956. Her nursing career included work as a nurse, then administrator, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, and then the Western Washington State Hospital in Steilacoom.
She was a founding member of the Steel Lake suppers, a component of the Federal Way Community Caregiving Network.
Survivors include her husband and children –– Kristine of Anchorage, Alaska, Stephen of Redwood City, Calif., Rolan of Kodiak, Alaska, and Shane of Winthrop.
The family suggests that donations in her name be made to the Federal Way Community Caregiving Network (attention to the Steel Lake Community Supper) at P.O. Box 4717, Federal Way, WA 98063.
Pittman, Max Monday, 08 Nov 2004
Max M. Pittman of Federal Way died Nov. 8.
He was 70.
He was born Nov. 30, 1933 in Jamesport, Mo. to Edith and Guy Pittman.
He retired in 1995 after 38 years with Boeing. He was also retired from the Federal Way Fire Department after serving 22 years as a volunteer firefighter.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Joanna; sons Steve Pittman and Scott Pittman, both of Federal Way, and Richard Pittman of Des Moines; a daughter, Judy Shanebrook of Kent; a brother, Gary Pittman of Jamesport, Mo.; a sister, Gloria Kelly of Sunrise Beach, Mo.; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service was conducted Nov. 20 at Church of Christ at Federal Way.

O;Neal, Clemence Friday, 29 Oct 2004
Clemence “Clem” A. O’Neal died Oct. 29 at his Edgewood home. He was 61.
He was born on Sept. 14, 1943 in Astoria, Ore.
He was a prior owner and broker of AAA Insurance Inc. of Federal Way, and was a longtime area resident. He enjoyed fishing and track and field, and founded the Federal Way Track Club.
Survivors include his wife of nearly 40 years, Mary; a daughter Angie of Puyallup; a son, Larry of Arlington, Wash.; a sister, Betty, and a brother, Butch; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Nov. 20 at Jovita Baptist Church, located in Edgewood at 1120 114th Ave. E.

Henselman, Thomas Friday, 17 Dec 2004
Thomas John Henselman died Dec. 17 at his home in Puyallup. He was 67.
He coached his son’s soccer and baseball teams, and was active in Federal Way’s Boys and Girls Club.
He retired from Boeing after 35 years.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Judy; sons Mike and David Henselman; a daughter, Laurie Laroya; brothers Dick, Bill and Bob Henselman; a sister, Lucy Payne; step-children Rick Loftus and Barb Seck; three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Carol Jean Henselman, in 1993.
A vigil was held Dec. 20 at Bonney-Watson Federal Way. A commemorative ceremony was conducted Dec. 21 at Gethsemane Catholic cemetery Chapel in Federal Way.
Knight, Janis Wednesday, 19 Jan 2005
Janis E. Knight died Jan. 19 in Federal Way. She was 63.
Born and raised in Seattle, she was a 30-year resident of Federal Way and a member of Christian Faith Center. For the past 14 years, she spent a lot of time in the Vancouver area, where she was active ministering the gospel at Rove Vista Nursing Center.
Survivors include her husband, Harrell; her mother, Mrs. Michael Tuscher Sr. of Federal Way; children Tim Knight of Seattle, Ed Knight of Auburn and Scarlett Hash of Vancouver; sisters Michelle Tuscher of Federal Way and Arlene Carle of Anchorage, Alaska; and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael E. Tuscher Sr., and a brother, Michael.
A memorial was held Jan. 29 in Vancouver.
Beckman, Edward Thursday, 20 Jan 2005
Edward S. Beckman of Federal Way died Jan. 20. He was 67.
He was born Feb. 5, 1937 to Elmer and Miriam Beckman in Spokane.
A former air traffic controller, he retired from the Federal Aviation Administration.
Survivors include his wife, Myrna, and son Michael of Federal Way; brothers Richard and John; a sister, Elizabeth; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Jeffrey.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Jan. 30 at Christ’s Church, 941 S. Dash Point Road.
