Please call the office at 765-6729 to be included in the memorial. A luncheon in the parish center will follow.
Brother Wally was a man of great faith. Often when he stopped at our office, we would talk about various faith challenges. One day he told me, "Take this to God. Tell him about the problem and then immediately say, Thank you God for answering this prayer."
Bob Garrett and I took him on his last trip with his wooden cross that he walked with each Good Friday. We got a pick-up, placed the chair right there in the pick-up box. "This is the angle I want the cross to be laid across my lap and heres the map where I want to go, " Wally said. What a joyous two or three-hour ride we had. That was the last Good Friday he did that.
Wally was truly a blessing to me and to almost every other person in town.
