A private family service will be held Wednesday. Interment will be at the Camas cemetery.

Ruby L. Smith
Ruby L. Smith of Red Oak, Iowa, died May 3, 2006, following surgical complications from a broken leg. She was 93.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Grace Baptist Church in Red Oak.
Sellergren-Lindell-DeMarce Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Memorial donations can be made to Grace Baptist Church Remembrances and condolences may be shared with the family at www.sldfuneralhome.com

Nina M. Toops
Nina Mary Toops died May 5, 2006, in Vancouver. She was 85.
Services will be held Saturday, at 10 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Ray Hickey Hospice House, 2112 E. Mill Plain Blvd.

Clyde W. Ashby
Clyde Willis Ashby died peacefully June 12, 2010, at his home in Camas. He was 76.
A celebration of Clyde’s life will be held Sunday, June 27, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Clyde and Bessie’s house, 603 N.E. 257th Ave.; Camas, WA 98607.
Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Mary E. Boni
Mary Ellen Boni died June 11, 2010, at home in Washougal. She was 73.
Mary’s life will be celebrated Friday, at 10 a.m., at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas.

Eunice C. Greathouse
Eunice C. Greathouse died May 31, 2010, in Beaverton, Ore. She was 76.
She was born Jan. 18, 1934, in Eureka, Mont.
A memorial service was held Thursday, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Stevenson.
Private inurnment will be held at the Stevenson cemetery.

Alice J. Kimes
Alice Jane Kimes died peacefully June 7, 2010, at her home in Camas. She was 67.
A celebration of Alice’s life was held Saturday at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas. Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas was in charge of arrangements.

Ramona J. Long
Ramona Jean Long died June 7, 2010, at her home in Vancouver surrounded by her family. She was 70.
A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, at 2 p.m., at the Lacamas Heights Baptist Church.
Brown's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Allen Maderos Sr.
Allen Maderos Sr. died May 26, 2010, in Vancouver. He was 72.
Private services will be held at the Willamette National cemetery in Portland, Ore.

Dougals F. Miller
Douglas Frederick Miller died June 2, 2010, in Camas. He was 82.
A celebration of Douglas’ life will be held Thursday, at 1 p.m., at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas.
Inurnment will be private at Camas cemetery at a later date. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation is in charge of arrangements.

Jack T. Van Oosterhout
Jack Thomas Van Oosterhout died June 10, 2010 at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver after a long and courageous battle against cancer. He was 64.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held Thursday, at 2 p.m., at Brown’s Funeral Home in Camas.

Monty D. Smith
Monty Dean Smith, a beloved guide, leader and mentor to many, died June 5, 2010.
A memorial service was held Saturday at First Unitarian Church in Portland. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Loraine C. Ulery
Loraine Caroline Ulery died peacefully June 10, 2010, at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver. She was 86.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 23, at 2 p.m., at the Fern Prairie cemetery in Camas. Brown’s Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Addah R. Visser
Addah Reagan Visser, infant daughter of Christopher and Trina Visser, was born June 6, 2010, and sadly passed away the same day.
Services will be held at a later date. Straub’s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of arrangements.

Jacob ‘Ted’ Anderson
Jacob “Ted” Anderson died peacefully at home in Vancouver June 14, 2010, only three weeks before his 80th birthday.
A memorial mass will be celebrated July 2, 2010, at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 400 S. Andresen Road, Vancouver.
Inurnment will be at Willamette National cemetery in Portland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 2456 Stapleton Road, Vancouver, WA 98661, to help purchase a new delivery truck.

Mary Ellen Boni
Mary Ellen Boni died June 11, 2010, at home in Washougal. She was 73.
Mary’s life will be celebrated Saturday, at 10 a.m., at Straub’s Funeral Home in Camas.

Preston J. Breaux
Preston Joseph Breaux died June 9, 2010, at home in Marysville, Wash. He was 90.
At his request, no service will be held.
He donated his body to science in hopes of finding a cure for cancer.
A private family party will be held in July.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society for research.

Bette Lou Maul Coffman
Bette Lou Maul Coffman died June 17, 2010, of complications from a stroke.
In lieu of a funeral, there will be a gathering of friends and family later this summer.

Letha Henson
Letha Henson died June 21, 2010, in Clackamas, Ore.

Rodger C. VandeWater, of Vancouver, died peacefully with his daughters by his side June 10, 2010, from lung fibrosis. He was 83.
A celebration of Rodger’s life will be held during an open house Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the home of Lori and Roy Pulliam, 2103 N.W. 139th St., Vancouver, 98685.
