78, of Seattle, died October 13, 2002. Investigator with the Dept. of Labor and Industries for 31 years and school bus driver for 20 years. He was also a U.S. armed forces veteran. Bud had a wonderful sense of humor and had a joke for everything.
Beloved husband of Dolores for 52 years; father of Robin, Gordon and Steve Harlin. Also 5 grandchildren.

66, of Seattle, died October 13, 2002 in a Burien hospital. She was born in Anaheim, California and had lived in the Seattle area for the past 35 years. Connie was a homemaker most of her life.
Beloved wife of Frank; mother of Guy Valencia, Rock Hopkins, Karina Bernal and Marie Noel; sister of Sonny Provencio, Della (Art) Cabral and Fran Gomez. Also 7 grandchildren.
Interfaith Vigil service 7 PM Thursday, October 17, and Funeral Mass Friday, October 18, 2002, both at St. George Catholic Church, Seattle. Arrangements by Columbia Funeral Home.

Tessie Glorioso, 70, a long time resident of the Seattle area, died October 11, 2002 in a Seattle hospital.
She was born in the Philippines to Numeriano and Marta (Jabola) Daniel in 1932 and had lived in the Seattle area for the past 22 years. For many years she worked as a factory worker for a sports outerwear company
Tessie is survived by her husband Felipe Glorioso; her daughters Mer Villaruel of Seattle and Emer Trinidad in the Philippines; her grandchildren Erik Villaruel, Edsel (Meadow) and Ervin Glorioso, Elmer and Erwin Zafranco, Cherry and Richard Trinidad; her great grandchildren Kristian and Adoni Zafranco. She also leaves 1 brother and 2 sisters in the Philippines.

Grandchildren, Wesley (Ellen), Jillian, Michelle, David, Jr., Nicholas, Spencer, Stephen, Katie & great-grandson Wesley, Jr. Siblings, Wesley Nelson (Von), Gordon Nelson (Joyce), Gary Nelson, Colleen Byzewski (Ardell) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Carol grew up in North Dakota, married
Francis Rock in 1956 and moved to Seattle where they raised their children. They later divorced, some years passed and she married
her high school sweetheart, Jim. They shared 10 happy years together. She was the most amazing mother and friend. She will be remembered for her giving spirit to all whom knew her, her wonderful laugh, her delicious baked goods, and her beautiful yard.
Mom, you will be with us always. We will all miss Katie’s Little Grandma.
Memorial service 3 PM Monday, October 14, 2002, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 6020 Beacon Avenue South, Seattle. Memorials to National Ovarian Cancer Research or Gilda’s Club.
Darcy G. HARMON

DARCY HARMON WAS BORN JANUARY 19TH 1963 IN SEATTLE WASHINGTON. THE YOUNGEST SON OF LEO AND MARGARET HARMON.
DARCY GRADUATED FROM SEALTH HIGH SCHOOL AND WAS WORKING AS A AUTO MECHANIC.
DARCY WAS ACTIVE IN AA PROGRAM AND WAS DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE FOR 5 YEARS.
HE ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WITH HIS FAMILY.
HE WAS GRATEFUL FOR HIS CHILDREN AND THANKFUL FOR THOSE WHO PLAYED A ROLE IN THEIR LIVES.
HE NEVER FORGOT A FRIEND AND WOULD GIVE THE SHIRT OFF HIS BACK.
HE ENJOYED HIKING, FISHING AND PLAYING HIS GUITAR.
HE LOVED WALKING AND PLAYING WITH HIS DOGS.
HE LIVED EACH DAY TO ITS FULLEST AND HAD NO WORRIES FOR TOMORROW. HE WAS A MAN OF FAITH, SIMPLE AT ITS BEST, BUT A SPIRITUAL SIDE WHICH WOULD SURPRISE MOST AND WAS UNWAVERING ABOUT IT.
HE WAS TRULY DYNAMIC, BUT WOULD NEVER TERM IT THAT WAY.
SURVIVED BY TWO DAUGHTERS, RACHAEL AND RENA HARMON (FORD); THREE SISTERS, TERRI FILER (HUSBAND JOHN, DAUGHTER LISA), JACKIE WAKEFIELD (HUSBAND KEN, DAUGHTERS TAMMY, SHERRI & ROSE AND SON RICK), REXINA DIETRICH (HUSBAND GREG AND SON CARL) AND BROTHER JEFFREY HARMON (WIFE TERESA, SONS JASON & COREY).
WE HAVE BEEN TRULY BLESSED TO HAVE DARCY IN OUR LIVES FOR THIS SHORT TIME.
Florence Theresa HENRY
Born in Youngsville, Louisiana on Jul. 16, 1931

FLORENCE T. HENRY was born in Youngsville, Louisiana on July 16, 1931.
She was the second oldest of 11 children born to the late Placide and Mabel Hebert. She loved school as a young girl.
Growing up, she was known as T-Glad.
On New Years Day, 1953 she was united in marriage to Junius Edward Henry.
She had seven children. November, 1963 they moved their family to Seattle, Washington.
Florence was a strong woman and in order to raise her family she had to work hard and make sacrifice.
She loved to cook and care for her entire family, especially at "family gatherings". Camping, watching Jeopardy, Figure Skating and Wrestling were just a few of the many things she enjoyed. Florence loved to play “spades” with her family.
She devoted much of her time at making sure everyone was cared for.
She was a loving ‘mother’ to everyone. She was a long time member of Saint Edwards Catholic Church.
She loved to pray the Holy Rosary.
The Lord called Florence on September 29, 2002, at the age of 71. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Junius Edward, her loving children: Barbara Ann, Cheryle Katherine, Mark Anthony, Marcus James, Edward Jr, Keith Allen and Leashea Denise; Fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two son in-laws and one daughter in-law.
She is also survived by five brothers, five sisters and leaves a host of relatives, and friends.
Leone C. PATKA
Born in Benton County, Minnesota on Oct. 21, 1910
Died on Sep. 19, 2002 and resided in Normandy Park, WA.

Age 91, of Normandy Park, WA, died at her home on September 19, 2002.
Beloved mother of Chuck, and Jon Patka, Marilyn Patricelli, LaVerne Casini (Gus) and Janet Belmont (Bruce), 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. preceded in death by her husband Carl and grandson Marty Casini.
Leone was born October 21, 1910 in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
He married
Carl Patka July 27, 1930 and they had 5 children. In 1943 they made the move to Seattle, Washington.
Leone worked for the Seattle Housing Authority, eventually becoming the manager of 3 high rise building residents for the elderly.
She retired after 28 years.
Leone's life was her family. Her greatest joy was her 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She attended as many school functions, recitals and sporting events as she possibly could.
The family surprised her on her 90th birthday with a party. Guests came from everywhere, even some friends from England.
Her home was always open, her love endless.
Her friends were young and old. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed by all, but she left us with many precious memories.
Leone was surrounded by family when she passed away Thursday afternoon, September 19th.
Our devoted thanks to the hospice people from Group Health and the wonderful medics from the Highline-Normandy Park Fire Department.

Kenneth James Baker
Age 76. Born February 21, 1926, passed away September 10, 2002.
Lifelong resident of Seattle’s Rainier Valley. Attended Franklin High School. Served in the Marine Corps during WWII as a tank driver, Third Armored Amphibian Battalion. Ken enjoyed camping and golf with his many friends and family.
Survived by wife of more than 52 years Betty, sons Tim (Ann) and Brad, daughters Kristy Wilburn (Phil) and Susan Tuttle, grandchildren Lindsey and Angela, brother Ted (Ruby).
Services to be held at Tahoma National cemetery 18600 SE 240th Street, Kent, Washington, Friday October 4th 1:00PM (please arrive 20 minutes before). Reception following.
