Keith Revoir

Keith E. Revoir of Everett, 54, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, May 25, 2004.

He loved life, particularly his friends and family, but above all, the Lord. Keith was born on February 1, 1950. He graduated with honors from Everett High School in 1968 and Everett Community College in 1970. Keith was always involved in sports, excelling in basketball and baseball. He was an avid Mariners, Seahawks, and Huskies fan. Keith also enjoyed golfing with his "TAGS" team members and on the "Dropouts" bowling league.

In June of 1970, Keith met his wife, Jeanette, while "Cruisin' Colby." They were married on October 22, 1971, shared 34 wonderful years together, and raised two children Adam (age 26) and Kelli (age 24). Keith worked at American Ice and Cold Storage with his Dad and brother, Jon, until 1974 when he returned to school. Keith graduated from the University of Washington with honors in 1977. Shortly thereafter, he began working at Associated Sand and Gravel (now Rinker Materials) as the accountant for the pre-stress dept. Keith worked extremely hard for the company and ended his career of 27 years as the Controller.

Keith was a loving and dedicated family man with a deep, abiding faith in Jesus Christ. Keith was a long time member of The First Covenant Church in Everett. He was devoted to his church and volunteered often. Keith and Jeanette took advantage of free time during their marriage by taking weekend trips when they could, especially to the ocean. Keith enjoyed all types of music; sometimes you could catch him whistling or singing a tune. He had an amazing sense of humor; he always had the perfect comeback or the great joke that made everyone laugh. Keith was respected and loved by many co-workers, family members, friends, and acquaintances. He will be greatly missed!

His father, Harry Revoir, father-in-law, Jake Ruiter, and brother-in-law, Remco Ruiter, preceded Keith in death.

Keith is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette (Ruiter); his son Adam (Collin); daughter Kelli; mother Beatrice; mother-in-law Ida Ruiter; brother Jon (Renee), sisters-in-law Margriet Ver-Hoeven (Merlin) and Alice VanBeek (Arvin); as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Private burial services were held on May 29th at Evergreen Cemetery in Everett. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday, June 3, 2004 at the First Covenant Church, 4502 Rucker Ave, Everett. Immediately after the memorial service, a reception will follow at the Marine View Banquet Center (formerly the Everett Yacht Club).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First Covenant Church youth camp/evangelism, American Cancer Society/re-search, or the charity of your choice.
