Erma Mary Bolinger, 100, of Yakima died May 28.
Mrs. Bolinger was a longtime Wenatchee Valley resident and moved to Yakima 15 years ago. She was a bookkeeper at fruit warehouses and for the Chieftain Restaurant in Wenatchee.
Survivors include two sons, Duane Bolinger of Manson, Wash., and Terry Bolinger of Yakima; and a daughter, Janis Cooper of St. Charles, Ill.
A memorial service will be June 28 at 11 a.m. at the Brethren Baptist Church, 535 Okanogan St. in Wenatchee. Arrangements are by Jones & Jones -- Betts Funeral Home.

Lisbeth Balanzar, infant daughter of Juan Luis and Gloria E. Balanzar, died Wednesday.
Besides her parents, survivors include a brother, Luis Angel; and a sister, Guadalupe.

Pearl A. Hauser, 68, of Yakima died Wednesday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hauser was born in Flasher, N.D. She was a sales/merchandiser for Vernell's Candy.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy Hauser of Yakima; four children, Kimberly Folk, René LaCoursiere and Shirelle Turel, all of Yakima, and Gerald Folk Jr. of Colorado; three stepchildren, Leroy "Butch" Hauser of Tonasket, Wash., Brian Hauser of Wasilla, Alaska, and Tracie Mattila of Oak Harbor, Wash.; a brother, James Franck of Yakima; a sister, Jacqueline Bird of Yakima; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a vigil beginning at 5:30 p.m., at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. A reception will immediately follow the Mass and concluding services will follow at 1 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery.
Louise F. Morton
Louise Fern Morton, 92, of Yakima died Thursday at Crescent Health Care Center. Mrs. Morton was born in Lambert, Mont. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Beth Hellums of Idaho; a stepdaughter, Zora Smith of Tieton; three sisters, Della Kamniski of Everett, Wash., Mary Thomson of Bothell, Wash., and Shirley Westbay of Yakima; four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Yakima. Arrangements are by Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors.

Jewell Edith Rhoades, 94, of Zillah died Friday at her daughter's home. Mrs. Rhoades was born in Medicine Lodge, Kan., and moved to Yakima 28 years ago from Spokane. She worked as a bookkeeper and was also a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Janis Foust; a son, Dean Rhoades; a sister, Norma Ritz; two brothers, Dale Strickland and Bob Strickland; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is pending. Arrangements are by Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors.
George W. DuPont

George W. DuPont, 73, of Yakima, died Thursday at Good Samaritan Health Care Center in Yakima.
Mr. DuPont was born in Terrebonne, Minn., and raised in Moxee. He served for four years in the Air Force. He then returned to Yakima and worked in construction. He ultimately retired from the James Bond Construction Co.
Survivors include two sons, Guy DuPont and Gary DuPont, both of Yakima; two daughters, Darla Andrews and Danea Pearce, both of Yakima; a sister, Joyce Crawford of Idaho; a brother, LeRoy DuPont of Idaho and four grandchildren.
Memorial services are pending. Arrangements are by Prosser Funeral Home & Crematory.
John F. Holmes

John F. Holmes, 45, of Yakima, died Wednesday.
Mr. Holmes was born in San Gabriel, Calif. He moved to the Yakima area in the 1990s and worked as an owner/operator of a housing and transitional living business.
Survivors include his mother, Marion C. Holmes of Belen, N.M.; a son, Sky Holmes of California; three sisters, Beryl Holmes of Pottstown, Pa., Tamara Krause of Belen and Sharon Murphy of Yakima; and two brothers, Peter Holmes of Yakima and Douglas Holmes of Rio Rancho, N.M.
A celebration of life is planned for a later date. Arrangements are by Merritt Funeral Home, Wapato.

She was born in Hoquiam, Wash., and was a homemaker.

He was born in Yakima on June 1.

Janet Bogert, 90, of Sunnyside died Sunday. Mrs. Bogert was born in Perry, Iowa.

Viewing will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, also at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Gulbranson of Portland and Danielle Peckman of New Jersey; a son, Tim Young of Yakima; three brothers, David Young and Steven Young, both of Yakima, and Bruce Young of Vancouver, Wash.; a sister, Lynn Bennett of Texas; and two grandchildren.

Ione Marie Morozzo, 69, of Yakima died Saturday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Morozzo was born in Minnesota. She was a housekeeper for 20 years at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center and worked 20 years at George F. Joseph Warehouse.
Survivors include three sons, Stacey Morozzo, Mike Morozzo and Danny Morozzo, all of Yakima; three siblings, Kayo Trepanier, Rueben Trepanier and Dulyce Petersen, all of Yakima; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, also at the funeral home. Concluding burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Joe Lee Hatfield, 88, of Yakima died Saturday at home. Mr. Hatfield was born in Wharncliffe, W.Va., and served in the Army during World War II. He worked in the coal mines and also helped his wife with her evangelical ministry.
Survivors include a daughter, Alice Fields of Yakima; two sons, Duane Hatfield and Calvin Hatfield, both of Yakima; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Carl (Bing) H. Nyssen Jr.

Carl (Bing) Hubert Nyssen Jr., 76, of Yakima died Sunday following a short battle with cancer. Mr. Nyssen was born in St. Louis, Mo., and served in the Army during the Korean War. He worked for furniture companies in California. In 1975 he moved the family to Yakima and was general manager of Mt. Adams Furniture in Wapato. In 1986 he started his own manufacturing plant, Magnuson Sleepers Inc., in Moxee, and operated it until his retirement in 1996.
Survivors include his wife, Madell Nyssen of Yakima; three sons, Ken Nyssen of Vancouver, Wash., and Ron Nyssen and Dan Nyssen, both of Yakima; four brothers, Bob Nyssen of Gresham, Ore., Dick Nyssen of Salem, Ore., Butch Nyssen of Tacoma and Jim Nyssen of Sugar Land, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. An informal memorial service for family members and invited guests will follow. At his request, there will be no formal funeral.

Stephen Mark Allen, 60, of Sunnyside died Saturday. Mr. Allen was born in Seattle and served in the Army. He lived in Sunnyside for many years, working at Harry's TV and Pro-Audio. He later managed La Fiesta Restaurant with his wife.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Allen of Sunnyside; his father and mother, Kenneth Allen and Roberta Allen of Richland; three sons, Michael Allen of Seattle, David Allen of Vancouver, Wash., and Timothy Allen of Kent, Wash.; a brother, Kenneth Lee Allen Jr. of Cottage Grove, Ore.; a sister, Kathleen Poston of Richland; and five grandchildren.
