Beulah Margaret Voss, 95, of Deer Park, Wash., and formerly of the Yakima Valley, died Saturday. Mrs. Voss was born in Robert, Idaho.
Survivors include five children, Barbara Baumeister of Moxee, Ronald Voss of Deer Park, Nancy Long-Voss of Thompson Falls, Mont., Jerome Voss of White Fish, Mont., and Margaret Mohrman of Chilicothe, Ill.; two sisters, Velma Derrick of Canada and Verla Baxter of Kennewick; a brother, Bud McDermott of Hermiston, Ore.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, also at the funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.

Jeremy D. Nelson, 50, of Cle Elum died Monday at home. Prior to disability retirement, he was employed at Shoemaker Manufacturing in Cle Elum.
Survivors include his parents, Gary and Sharon Nelson; and two brothers, Benjamin and Joe Nelson, all of Cle Elum.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 13 at Jehovah's Witnesses, 617 W. First St., in Cle Elum. Inurnment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Arrangements are by Affordable Funeral Care of Ellensburg.

Ruth Goltz Rockert-Magee, 96, of Zillah died Monday in Wapato. Mrs. Rockert-Magee was born in Enderlin, N.D.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Schaan of Zillah and Mary Aldaco of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Alyce Leveich of Fullerton, Calif.; 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the rosary will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Resurrection Catholic Church.

Paula Martinez Sanchez, 85, of Toppenish died Monday. Mrs. Sanchez was born in Del Rio, Texas.
Survivors include five sons, Ernesto Sanchez of Wapato, Frank Sanchez and Epifanio Sanchez of Toppenish, Andy Sanchez of Grandview and Juan Sanchez of Oregon; two daughters, Esmeralda Lopez and Nora Moreno of Toppenish; three brothers, Jose Martinez of Yakima, Adolfo Martinez of Moses Lake and Rudy Martinez of Royal City; 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. Recitation of the rosary will follow at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Aloysius Church in Toppenish. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, also at the church. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Ramona Alice Anderson, 77, of Yakima died Tuesday. Mrs. Anderson was born in Jordan, Mont. She worked for the Washington State Employment Security Department for 18 years.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Masterman of Weaverville, Calif., Todd Anderson of Yakima and Kevin Anderson of Tacoma; a daughter, Connie Stone of Tieton; a brother, Del Carmichael of Yakima; a sister, Karen Carmichael-Cook of Edmonds, Wash.; and four grandchildren.
At her request, there will be no services. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.

Charles Avery Brown, 66, of Yakima died Sunday at home. Mr. Brown was born in Shelbyville, Tenn., and served in the Navy, retiring in 1979.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Brown of Yakima; seven children, Charles Brown Jr., Jodi Wilson, Jenna Bowers and Raymond Orcutt, all of Yakima, Samantha Dawes, Clay Brown and Margie Lovins, all of Tennessee; a sister, Susan Taylor of Tennessee; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial service with full military honors is planned for 3:30 p.m. Friday at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel.

Betty J. Jackson, 64, of Renton, Wash., died Tuesday at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. Mrs. Jackson was born in Puyallup, Wash. She enjoyed a variety of occupations while raising her family.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas E. Jackson of Lynden, Wash.; a son, Tom Jr. of Auburn, Wash., three daughters, Cheryl Jennings of Olympia, Karen Bryant of Lynden and Jennifer Bergstrom of Renton; two brothers, Art England and Les Day; a sister, Diane Gerber; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the LDS Church in Ellensburg. Arrangements are by Affordable Funeral Care of Ellensburg.

Eleanor Miles, 94, of Yakima died Monday at Apple Creek Adult Family Home. Mrs. Miles was born in Roslyn. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, John Miles of Naches; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Roslyn is pending. Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home.
Margaret A. Ringer

Margaret Ann Ringer, 90, of Yakima died Wednesday. Mrs. Ringer was born in Leeseringen, Germany.
She worked at the Stockton Ordinance Depot as a secretary during World War II. She also worked as an office manager and medical assistant. In the 1950s, she and her husband, Dick, were founders, part owners and operators of the Yakima Speedway.
Survivors include three sons, Richard Ringer, Michael Ringer and Patrick Ringer, all of Yakima; a daughter, Kathleen Fuller of Spreckles, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Feb. 13 in Terrace Heights Memorial Park. A reception will follow at noon at the VFW. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.

Patricia Lee Pedersen, 66, of Yakima died Tuesday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Pedersen was born in Okanogan, Wash. She worked in child care for most of her life and owned and operated a day care center.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas Pedersen; a daughter, Chris Pedersen; a son, Tim Pedersen; and her mother, Lucille Sprouse, all of Yakima.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel. A committal service will follow in Terrace Heights Memorial Park.

Mrs. Ward was born in Yakima. She was a homemaker.

A vigil will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Merritt Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.

Mr. Bliss was born in Buena. He worked for U & I Sugar for many years.

Wilbur James Matheny, 72, of Grandview died Friday in Grandview.
Mr. Matheny was born in Yakima. He served in the Air Force and worked as an air traffic controller for the Federal Aviation Administration.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Matheny of Grandview; seven children, Jerry Matheny of Alexandria, Va., April Price of Culver, Ore., Theresa Ross of Sunnyside, Janet Abbasi of Bossier City, La., and Doug Matheny, Terry Matheny and Devin Matheny, all of Grandview.

Olive E. Durkee, 95, died Thursday at Riverview Manor in Selah.
Mrs. Durkee was born in Broadview, Mont. She served in the Army Nurse Corps and worked as a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Yakima for more than 20 years.
Survivors include a son, John Durkee; a daughter, Marilyn McLean; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Dawn Mitchell, 69, died Thursday at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. The native of Pierre, S. D., was a homemaker and lived in the Naches area for more than 30 years.
Survivors include her husband, Harvy, of Naches; a son, Randy of Wenatchee; two daughters, Rhonda Beer of Paradise Valley, Ariz., and Regina Baumgarten of Naches; a sister, Charlotte Jones of Lynnwood, Wash.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at noon Saturday at West Hills Memorial Park followed by a celebration of her life at the Mitchell home, 9671 S. Naches Road.
