Barbara Ann Lewis, 69, of Prosser died Sunday at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. Mrs. Lewis was born in Wichita, Kan. She was a housekeeper and lived in the Yakima area for 36 years.
Arrangements are by Einan's Funeral Home of Richland.
Helen Mullen

Helen Mullen, 84, of Dickinson, N.D., died Dec. 13 at St. Benedict's Health Center. Mrs. Mullen was born in Regent, N.D. She had worked at the Villard Hotel and City Cafe, S & L Store and Buttreys Clothing Store in Dickinson. She moved to Yakima, where she and her husband operated jewelry stores and two Hallmark Stores in Yakima and Toppenish.
Survivors include four sisters, Mary Evan Warner, Ann Heidt and Cecilia Jorgensen, all of Dickinson, and Tillie Stein of Gladstone, N.D.; and two stepsons, Michael Mullen of San Diego and B.J. Mullen of Yakima.
Services have already been held. Burial will be in Terrace Heights Memorial Park in Yakima at a later date. Arrangements are by Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson, N.D.
Corinne Williams

Corinne G. Williams, 89, of Yakima died Friday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Williams was born in Saskatchewan, Canada. She worked as a secretary in the real estate industry.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna Lovins of Yakima, Carol Goodell of Mercer Island, Wash., and Doris Williams of Shasta Lake City, Calif.; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at a later date in the spring. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.
Edgar McDowell

Edgar J. "Ed" McDowell, 74, of Ellensburg died Friday at home. Mr. McDowell was born in Waitsburg, Wash., and served in the Army. He was a teacher, first at Morgan Junior High School and then at Ellensburg High School, where he developed the D.E.C.A. program. He retired a number of years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Jill McDowell of Ellensburg; two sons, Kevin McDowell and Kirk McDowell; a daughter, Kimberly McDowell; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 3 at the Teanaway Building at the Kittitas County Fairgrounds. Arrangements are by Affordable Funeral Care of Ellensburg.
Florence (Brewer) Cherry

Florence Violet (Brewer) Cherry, 93, of Yakima died Saturday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Cherry was born in Glenarm, Ill. She previously lived in Grand Coulee, Wash.
Survivors include three children, Twila Sloan of Yakima; Don Cherry of St. Helen, Ore., and Dwayne Cherry of Vancouver, Wash.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Florence and Wayne Cherry will be held at a later date at the Spring Canyon Cemetery in Grand Coulee. Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home.
Carol I. Capp

Carole Irene Capp, 49, of Spanaway, Wash., died Sunday. She was born in Chikombedzi, Zimbabwe, and moved to the Yakima Valley in 1995. She was a custom crochet artist. In 2005, she moved to Tacoma.
Survivors include her parents, Philip and Carmina Capp of Yakima; a brother, Kenneth Capp of Naches; and two sisters, Ruth Capp of Belgrade, Minn., and Karen Caister of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.
A graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Tahoma Cemetery. Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home.
Larry M. Good

Larry M. Good, 76, of Naches died Friday. Mr. Good was born in Seattle and served in the Navy during World War II. He moved to the Yakima area in the 1960s and worked as a self-employed carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Good of Naches; two sons, Jeffery McIntyre of Greenwater, Wash., and Robert McIntyre of Arlington, Wash.; a daughter, Debbie Ava Barley of Arlington; a sister, Miram Andrews; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home.

Cloe Teresa Garrison, 82, of Sunnyside died Tuesday in Bellevue, Wash. Mrs. Garrison was born in Prosser. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Garrison of Sunnyside; two sons, Paul Garrison of Colville, Wash., and Douglas Garrison of Sunnyside; three daughters, Catherine Garrison-Smith of Redmond, Wash., Carolyn Williams of Portland and Christine Garrison of Kirkland, Wash.; two sisters, Irma Jean Lumis of Aberdeen, Wash., and Ethel Evanson of Cosmopolis, Wash.; and numerous grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 9 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1201 Missouri St., Grandview. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.
Nellie Harris

Nellie Harris, 96, of Sunnyside died Monday. Mrs. Harris was born in Rigby, Idaho. After moving to the Valley in 1947, she worked as a cook for Sunnyside General Hospital. She also worked as a housekeeper at Sunnyside Memorial Hospital and the LDS Church.
Survivors include four children, Betty Lou Bessey of Spanish Fork, Utah, Dorothy June Higbee of Visalia, Calif., Barbara Jean Albrecht of Sunnyside and Glate Harris Jr., of Spanaway, Wash.; 17 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sunnyside. Burial will follow in the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.

Florence E. Howard, 85, of Outlook died Friday in Sunnyside. Mrs. Howard was born in Mobridge, S.D.
Survivors include four children, George Roy Howard of Selah, Gloria Jean Conner of Homedale, Idaho, John E. Howard and Florence Lorraine Howard, both of Yakima; six grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A private family burial will be at 10 a.m. today in the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside. Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home of Sunnyside.
Delbert H. Sloan

Delbert "Curly" Henry Sloan, 87, of Yakima died Tuesday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mr. Sloan was born in Yakima and served in the Army during World War II. He later worked the Harrah area as a farmer.
Survivors include two sons, Darin Sloan and Dale Sloan of Yakima; two daughters, Brenda Steinman of San Jose, Calif., and Kayrn Sloan of Walla Walla; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors. A graveside funeral, with military honors, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in West Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend should meet at the cemetery.

Dan Roy Stark, 60, of Moxee died Monday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mr. Stark was born in Lewiston, Idaho. He was employed as a horse trainer.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Stark of Spokane; his wife, Sue Stark of Moxee; a son, David Ryan Stark of Boise, Idaho; a daughter, Sarah Metcalf of Richland; a brother, Thomas Stark of Priest Lake, Idaho; a sister, Sandy Riede of Spokane; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service is pending and will be held in Spokane. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.
Phyllis I. Zable

Phyllis I. Zable, 81, of Yakima died Friday in Medical Lake, Wash. Mrs. Zable was born in Wessington, S.D., and moved to the Yakima area in 1968. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Zable of Yakima and Robert Zable of Graham, Wash.; a daughter, Sandra Zable of Yakima; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Theresa Korevaar

Theresa Korevaar, 92, of Sunnyside died Monday. Mrs. Korevaar was born in Chilton, Wis. She moved to Chicago and worked as a housekeeper. In 1938 she moved to Goldendale and in 1943 to Outlook, where she and her husband had an asparagus farm. They later owned an orchard on Sunnyside's Harrison Hill, and in 1985 she moved to Sunnyside.
Survivors include two children, Dennis Korevaar and Kathy Costin; two brothers, Bob Steinbacher and John Steinbacher; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be Monday from 11 a.m. until the funeral at 1 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Burial will follow in Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.
Robert E. Minick

Robert Early Minick, 89, of Richland, a former Yakima Valley resident, died Monday. Mr. Minick was born in Caddo, Texas, and served in the Navy. He lived in Prosser in 1944, then later in Yakima and Selah before returning to Prosser in the early 1950s. He worked as a refrigeration engineer in Prosser.
Survivors include his wife, Eva; a daughter, Kay Staples of Richland; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home in Grandview. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, also at Smith Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Prosser Cemetery.
Patricia J. Collins

Patricia J. Collins, 82, of Yakima died Wednesday in Wapato. Mrs. Collins was born in San Francisco and moved to Yakima in 1974. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include four children, Roseanne McGough, Wayne Collins, Clifford Collins and Robin Collins.
At her request, no services will be held. Arrangements are by Colonial Funeral Home.

Gare K. Allen, 52, of Rochester, Minn., died Tuesday. Mr. Allen was born in New Britain, Conn. He worked for Geico Insurance.
Survivors include a daughter, Taylor Allen; a son, Christain Allen; four brothers, Mark Allen of Walla Walla, Michael Allen of Tacoma, Donald Allen of San Diego and Paul Allen of Rochester; and his parents, Robert and Gertrude Allen of Yakima.
No services are planned. Cremation arrangements were by Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home in Rochester.

Leo E. Kelley, 84, of Yakima died Tuesday at Highgate House. Mr. Kelley was born in Cabin City, Mont., and served in the Army during World War II. He farmed hops, grapes and apples for many years in Moxee.
Survivors include seven children, Catherine Downie, Karen Kelley, Cheryl Myers and Enid Kelley-Oman, all of Yakima, Cynthia Judd and Christopher Kelley, both of Moxee, and Diedre Young of Pine Bluff, Ark.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, with a vigil at 3 p.m., at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. A memorial mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Private burial with full military honors will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Harry F. Martin, Jr., 80, of Pasco died Tuesday. Mr. Martin was born in Pasco. He worked at the U & I Sugar plant in Toppenish for many years.
Survivors include four sons, Loren Martin, Cary Martin, Harold Martin and Mark Martin; two brothers, Charles Martin and Donnie Martin; four sisters, Faye Rice, Inez Galusha, Peggy Webb and Betty Waldron; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Zillah Cemetery.

Survivors include a son, Quincy Stoneking of Grandview; her father, Edward Stoneking of Mabton; her mother, Jolene Stoneking of Grandview; a brother, Damian Stoneking of Grandview; and her grandparents, William and Ilene Stoneking of Mabton.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Prosser Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, also at the funeral home. Concluding services and burial will follow in the Prosser Cemetery.

Nancy Jo Gorger, 68, of Yakima died Monday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Gorger was born in Astoria, Ore. She worked at Hurst, Brumback and Brusic as an intake manager.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Gorger of Yakima; two children, Jeff Gorger of Portland and Jody Boggess of Yakima; a sister, Mary Kaye Zorich of Portland; and four grandchildren.

Reta Alva Hauver, 84, of Grandview died Saturday in Sunnyside. Mrs. Hauver was born in Yakima. She worked for Payless Drug Store for over 10 years.
Survivors include two sons, Glenn Hauver and Gary Hauver, both of Grandview; a brother, Richard (Dick) Lewis Temple of Brush Prairie, Wash.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Conner Jay Knoblich, 17, of Kennewick died Sunday at home. Conner was born in Yakima. He was a senior at Kamiakin High School in Kennewick and in his second year at Coumbia Basin College in the Running Start program.
Survivors include his father, Carl Knoblich; his mother, Laura Knoblich; a sister, Alicen Knoblich; and a brother, Sam Knoblich, all of Kennewick.
