Juanita Faye Crowe, 89, of Wenatchee and formerly of Yakima, died Tuesday. Mrs. Crowe was born in Oilton, Okla. She retired with the Washington State Employment Security Department after many years of service.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Crowe of Wenatchee and Patrick Crowe of Yakima; a sister, Fern Mize of Scottsdale, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel.
Manuel G. Trevino

Manuel G. Trevino, 80, of Yakima died Saturday. Mr. Trevino was born in Mexico and moved to the Yakima area, where he lived many years. He worked as a farm laborer until retiring in 1999.
Survivors include four sons, Eugene Trevino and Manuel Trevino Jr., both of Yakima, Anthony Trevino of Spanaway, Wash., and Armando Trevino of Texas; eight daughters, Eleanor Wiley, Maria Mercedes Trevino, Georgina Deloras Trevino, April Trevino and Hopie Trevino, all of Yakima, Julia Trevino of Richland, Ruby Helen Trevino of Seattle and Mary Ann Vargas of California; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. Rosary/vigil will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home.

Steve Andrew Mieras, 50, of the Yakima area died Tuesday.
Mr. Mieras was born in Yakima.
Survivors include his mother, Eve Mieras; a brother, Philip Mieras of Gilbert, Ariz.; and a sister, Beverly Schweers of Boise, Idaho.
A vigil will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Moxee. Memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, also at the church. Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home.

Don P. Ibatuan, 73, of Toppenish died Tuesday in Yakima.
Mr. Ibatuan was born in Toppenish and raised in Wapato. He served in the Army and also taught and coached for many years at Wapato High School, retiring in the early 1990s.
Survivors include his wife, Carlisle of Toppenish; two children, Kevin Ibatuan of Lake Stevens, Wash., and Kim Bouchey of Harrah; a brother, Paul Adams of Florida; a sister, Dolores Johnson of Auburn, Wash.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Community Presbyterian Church of Wapato. Interment will follow in Reservation Community Memorial Park, outside of Wapato.

Dorothy Virginia Butler, 78, of Yakima died Wednesday at Good Samaritan Health Care Center.
Mrs. Butler was born in Pearson, Wash. She worked as a cook for the Tacoma School District for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Jeanean Warner of Goldendale; two stepdaughters, Sharon Ruppel of Bend, Ore., and Renee Spencer of Chandler, Ariz.; a sister, Sylvia Burnworth of La Mesa, Calif.; nine grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Fir Lane Memorial Park in Spanaway, Wash., at a later date. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory of Yakima.

Shelley Jean Kinter, 42, of Yakima died Tuesday.
Ms. Kinter was born in Goldendale. She was a waitress and worked at the Sea Galley in Yakima and Tacoma.
Survivors include her parents, Robert and Joyce Allen of Yakima; and four siblings, Leonard Kinter of Denver, Linda Calvert of Selah, Terri Allen of Lorain, Ohio, and Rob Allen of Yakima.
Graveside inurnment services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Zillah Cemetery. Those planning to attend should meet at the cemetery. Arrangements are by Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Deimel was born in Newaygo, Mich.

Elizabeth A. Carvo, 83, of Yakima died Thursday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Carvo was born in Fall City, Neb., and lived in the Yakima area for 63 years. She worked as a cook for the Yakima School District.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth F. Carvo of Yakima; a daughter, Nancy Renee Wohl of Yakima; a son, David Cargo of Eugene, Ore.; two sisters, Wyoma Febus and Patricia Parnell; and one grandchild.
A memorial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors. A reception will follow in the Greenside Room, also at the funeral home.

Leonor S. Barajas, 92, of Beverly died Wednesday at Tri-Cities Chaplancy Hospice in Kennewick. Mrs. Barajas was born in Michoacan, Mexico. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include five sons, Jose Barajas of Mexico, Jesus Barajas of Sunnyside, Antonio Barajas of Beverly, Abel Barajas of California and Jose M. Barajas of Mattawa; five daughters, Isobel Barajas and Elena Barajas of Mexico, Maria Barajas and Adela Barajas of Sunnyside and Anna Barajas of Sunnyside.
Viewing will be from noon to 6 p.m. today, with a Rosary at 6 p.m. all at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Sunnyside. Burial will follow in the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.

Filogonia Santana, 62, of Selah died Wednesday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Santana was born in De Tecolotlan, Jalisco, Mexico. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Catarino Santana; two sons, Jose Santana and Jesus Santana; and two daughters, Maria Santana and Anna Santana.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, with a Vigil beginning at 12:30 p.m., at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. Visitation will continue on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m., also at Keith and Keith. Burial will be held in Mexico.

Thomas Christopher Forde, 74, of Yakima died Thursday at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center. Mr. Forde was born in Kilfinane, County Limerick, Ireland. He was part-owner of T & M Heating and Air Conditioning in the past, and also part-owner of Integrity Builders in Yakima.
Survivors include his wife, Erna Forde of Yakima; two daughters, Maureen Ritter and Carol Mosshart of Yakima; two sisters, Philomena Forde of New York, N.Y., and Peggy Stucenski of Long Island, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.

Richard Elrick Donelson, 86, of Milwaukie, Ore., died Tuesday. Mr. Donelson was born and raised in Yakima and served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was an engineer and president of R.E. Donelson Co.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Donelson of Milwaukie; two daughters, Sally Driver and Anne Oberg, both of Oregon City, Ore.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Milwaukie Presbyterian Church, 2416 SE Lake Road in Milwaukie. Arrangements are by Peake Memorial Chapel.

Charles Earl Slagg, 89, died Friday at his home in Zillah.
Mr. Slagg was born in Garrison, N.D., and served during World War II, receiving the Medal of Victory and a Good Conduct Medal.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Slagg of Tieton and Ron Slagg of Yakima.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Zillah Nazarene Church, followed by interment in the Zillah Cemetery.

David Franklin Buchanan, 96, of Yakima died Friday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Born in Epworth, N.D., Mr. Buchanan worked for the Soil Conservation Service and became a licensed civil engineer. He moved to Yakima in 1983.
Survivors include his wife, Esther Buchanan of Yakima; two daughters, Barbee Buchanan and Karen Lower, both of Yakima; a brother, Harry Buchanan of Helena, Mont.; a sister, Mary Binkley of Decatur, Ill.; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Born in Kennedy, Texas, Mr. Garcia worked in agriculture and as a foreman for Springcreek Orchards in Outlook.
Survivors include his wife, Effie Garcia of Sunnyside; nine children, Corina Garcia of Granger, Angie Lewis of Selah, Rachel Socha, Dalia Garcia and Gloria Brophy, all of Spokane, Ray Garcia of Mount Vernon, Wash., Janie Garcia of Outlook, Rick Garcia of Yakima and Art Garcia of Mesa, Ariz.; and three sisters, Hortence Summerville, Rita DeLaRosa and Nicki Cantu.

Charise "MeMa" Perry, 53, died Tuesday of lung disease.
She lived and worked at the family shelter in the Union Gospel Mission.
Survivors include four children, Michael Perry of Chicago, Christopher and Roseanna Perry of Middletown, Calif., and Sarah Perry of Yakima; a brother, Timothy McEvoy; a sister, Sharon Johnson of Yakima; and five grandchildren.
