Juan Gabriel Madrid, 36, of Outlook died Tuesday in Yakima. Mr. Madrid was born in Michoacan, Mexico, and had lived in Outlook for the last four years. He worked as a farm laborer.
Survivors include his father, Adrian Madrid of Mexico; four brothers, Roman Madrid of Salem, Ore., Benito Oliveras of Outlook, Salvador Madrid and Gavino Madrid of Mexico; and two sisters, Griselda Madrid and Mireya Madrid, both of Salem.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. The funeral will be at noon Saturday, also at the funeral hone. Burial will follow in the Zillah Cemetery.

Mae E. Randolph, 75, of Moses Lake died Tuesday at Lake Ridge in Moses Lake.
Survivors include three sons, five daughters, 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Kayser's Chapel and Crematory of Moses Lake.

Rogelio Vaca Soto, 19, of Wapato died Aug. 23 in Toppenish Community Hospital. Mr. Vaca Soto was born in Michoacan, Mexico. He was a agricultural laborer.
Survivors include his mother, Maria Carmen Soto; six brothers, Jamie Vaca Soto of Walla Walla, Antonio Vaca Soto, Omar Vaca Soto and Arturo Vaca Soto, all of Wapato, Martine and Bernardo Vaca Soto of Mexico; and two sisters, Guadalupe Vaca and Maria Ester Vaca.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Yakima. Burial will be in Jungapeo, Michoacan, Mexico. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory in Yakima.

Deborah K. Wedeman, 53, of Yakima died Tuesday. She was born and raised in Yakima and worked as a night monitor for Mansfield Alarm Co.
Survivors include a daughter, Brandi Wedeman; a brother, Leslie Wedeman; a sister, Mardine Franks, all of Yakima; and two grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in West Hills Memorial Park, Yakima. Arrangements are by Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home.

David T. Whitefoot, 59, of Yakima died Tuesday at home. Mr. Whitefoot was born in Yakima. He was employed as a janitor and maintenance man for various businesses and agencies. He was a member of the McKinley Indian Mission.
Survivors include two sisters, Winona Zack of Wapato and Lilly Kies of Michigan; and two brothers, Tom Blackeagle of Toppenish and Darrell Runyan of Idaho.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the McKinley Indian Mission. Arrangements are by Colonial Funeral Home.

Tena M. Misikin, 43, of Yakima died Monday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Tacoma and worked as a secretary.
Survivors include three children, Alex, Heather and Zachary; her mother, Audrey; and a sister, Cindy.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Yakima.

Theresa M. Monson, 78, of Yakima died Saturday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Monson was born in Seattle.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Hinze and Kathy Benoit, both of Yakima; a son, Robert Nevins of Yakima; a brother, James Whitman of Auburn, Wash.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Juanita Schut Scherer Jahr, 95, of Yakima died Tuesday at Living Care Retirement Community. Mrs. Jahr was born in Dayton, Wash., and had lived in the Yakima Valley since 1935. She was employed at the Cowiche Post Office.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Schut of Yakima and Mike Schut of Chewelah, Wash.; two daughters, Sharon Scheiber and Rhonda Cardona, both of Yakima; seven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sept. 10 and 11 at Keith and Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 12 in West Hills Memorial Park.
A celebration of life will follow at 11 a.m. Sept. 12 at First Presbyterian Church, 9 S. Eighth Ave., Yakima.
J.C. Key

J.C. Key, 71, of Grandview died Tuesday in Yakima. Mr. Key was born in Bristow, Okla., and moved with his family to Grandview in 1959. He had been employed by Famous Chili Factory, Pecan Ag, City Lumber, Perham Fruit and Snokist Growers.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy; two daughters, Angela of Grandview and Jennifer of Naches; three brothers, Dal of Pueblo, Colo., Jerry of Grandview and Larry of Napavine, Wash.; two stepbrothers, Loy and Jerry Sinor of Texas; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Smith Funeral Home in Grandview. Burial will follow in the Grandview Cemetery.

Jessie Blanchat, 75, of Yakima died Wednesday at Willow Springs Care Center. Mrs. Blanchat was born in Flippin, Ark., and moved to Yakima as a small child. She worked many years waitressing and bartending, including stints at Ole's Place, Little Dutch Inn and the Old Town Pump.
Survivors include a son, David Rohlman of Yakima; two daughters, Linda Wright and Gaye Durall, both of Yakima; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, also at the funeral home. Final committal will be in Tahoma Cemetery.

Marilyn C. Agiak, 65, of Wapato died Thursday in Seattle. Mrs. Agiak was born in Wapato. She worked as an licensed practical nurse in Yakima, Seattle and Phoenix hospitals.
Survivors include her husband, Gabriel Selam of Wapato; three children, Aaron Agiak of White Swan, Noreen Kaleak of Kaktovik, Alaska, and Kim Agiak of Wapato; two brothers, Stanley and Melvin Miller, both of Wapato; five sisters, Phyllis Littlebull and Nadine Ike of Wapato, DeEtte Tahkeal of Toppenish, Leanne Umtuch of Satus and Naomi Reevis of Parker; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Dressing services were Friday at the Toppenish Longhouse, followed by overnight services. The funeral will be at 8 a.m. today in the Union Gap Cemetery. Arrangements are by Colonial Funeral Home.

Nita C. Crosier, 99, of Yakima died Thursday at Covenant House Adult Home. Mrs. Crosier was born in Amherst, Neb., and moved to Sumas, Wash., in 1922. She and her husband farmed in various places, including Lynden, Wash., and Wapato, and retired to Union Gap.
Survivors include a son, Ellwood Crosier of Yakima; three daughters, Shirley Owen of Union Gap, Kaylene Boardman of Maple Valley, Wash., and Erma Rae Early of East Wenatchee; a sister, Lucille Maul of Kearney, Neb.; a brother, Harley Ray Selmer of Snohomish, Wash.; 24 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. Burial will follow in West Hills Memorial Park.

Martha Henrietta Sherland, 100, of Yakima died Thursday at Summitview Healthcare Center. Mrs. Sherland was born in Egland, N.D., and came to Yakima in 1931. She had worked for Del Monte and Ray Malinga canneries as a sorter. She also worked in a pulp mill in Everett, Wash., for five years.
Survivors include two grandchildren, Craig Sherland of Tukwila, Wash., and Valerie Reyes of Yakima; and two great-grandchildren, Brandon Cleary and Tiffany Perez, both of Yakima.

Hazel Silvers, 93, of Buena died Thursday in Yakima. Mrs. Silvers was born and lived all of her life in Buena. She worked in the fruit industry for many years and retired as an executive secretary in the Yakima County Treasurers office.
Survivors include her husband, William Silvers of Buena; two daughters, Carolyn Jewett of Woodinville, Wash., and Janice Gill of Kirkland, Wash.; two brothers, R. Glenn Leuning of Buena and Elwood Leuning of Kenmore, Wash.; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Zillah Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Parker Heights Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah.

Evelyn Edith Sly, 97, of Wapato died Thursday at home. Mrs. Sly was born in Troy, Idaho. She worked in food services at Wenatchee Valley College and was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Marcie Brandt of Wapato; a son, Jeff Sly of Kennewick; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Lillie "Inez" Young, 96, of Yakima died Tuesday at Landmark Care Center. Mrs. Young was born in Purcell, Okla., and had been a resident of Yakima for eight years. She previously lived in Portland. She worked as a kitchen supervisor for a school district.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Pyle of Vancouver, Wash., and Phyllis Lewis of Naches; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Henriette "Harriet" Louise Uithof, 88, died Friday at Landmark Care Center in Yakima. The Winnipeg, Manitoba, native had lived in Montana, Minnesota and Washington.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Wells of Yakima; two sons, Robert Uithof of Libby, Mont., and Guy Uithof, of Helena, Mont.; a brother, Robert Bedard of Vancouver, British Columbia; seven grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Uithof will be in Vancouver, B.C. Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Eugene Phillips, 80, died Aug. 31 in Grandview. The Kansas native moved to Kennewick with his family as a teenager and served in the Army.
He was a member of the Grandview Church of Christ and the Prosser and Grandview senior citizens clubs.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Phillips of Grandview; a stepbrother, Lee; and five stepsisters, Bonnie, Juanita, Fern, Ruth and Frances.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Church of Christ in Grandview. Contributions in Mr. Phillips' memory can be made to the Church of Christ. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
