Lloyd Joseph LeRoue, 95, of Yakima died Thursday at Parkside Nursing Care Center. Mr. LeRoue was born in White Swan. He worked many jobs related to agriculture, including trucking, custom farming, operating his own farm, working at the sugar beet factory in Toppenish and as a hotel manager.
Survivors include his wife, Olive LeRoue of Yakima; a daughter, Audrey Myers of Olympia; a stepson, Randall Boettcher of Yakima; a stepdaughter, Faith Archer of Yakima; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 22 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 7003 Mieras Road, Yakima. Arrangements are by Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors.
Helen M. Collins
Announcement dated August 15, 2009
Helen Marie Collins, 98, of Royal City, Wash., formerly of Sunnyside, died Thursday at home. Mrs. Collins was born in Burbank, S.D. She was a school teacher.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Cockrum of Royal City; two sons, Mike Collins of Pasco and Ken Collins of North Bonneville, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, with a rosary to be recited at 6 p.m., at Valley Hills Funeral Home of Sunnyside. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Sunnyside. Burial will follow in Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.
Bonnie J. Feaster

Bonnie J. Feaster, 76, of Yakima died Friday. The Toppenish native had worked in the insurance industry and was a lifelong resident of the Yakima Valley.
Survivors include a daughter, T'sha Lundberg of Yakima; two sisters, Dorothy Rassmusson of Yakima and Kim Foster of Selah; two brothers, Ron Feaster of Richland and Chris Foster of Yakima; and three grandchildren.
Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements. No services will be held.
Marie O. Collins

Marie Opal Collins, 85, of Prosser died Saturday. The Zillah native was a member of the Toppenish Eagles Auxiliary and the Zillah Legions Auxiliary, and worked as a cook for many years.
Survivors include two sons, Alvin Pope of Jamestown, Ohio, and Dennis Pope of Winston, Ore.; a daughter, Carol Buehler of Airway Heights, Wash.; a stepsister, Maxine Smith of Goldendale; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Zillah Cemetery.
Priscilla R. Napoleon

Priscilla R. Napoleon, 42, of Toppenish died Friday in Othello. The Dalles, Ore., native studied business management at Herritage College and worked in Legends Casino.
Survivors include her mother, Roseline Yallup Napoleon of Toppenish; four sisters, Anna Wahtomy of Fort Hall, Idaho, Lydia Haskie of Toppenish, Pauline Napoleon of Albuquerque, N.M., and Victoria Napoleon of Toppenish; and numerous other relatives.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Colonial Funeral Home, followed by overnight services at the family's home. Burial will be at sunrise Tuesday at the Toppenish Creek Cemetary in White Swan.
James R. Crane Kleeschulte

James R. Crane Kleeschulte, 66, of Yakima died Wednesday. The Missouri native lived in the Yakima area since 1979 and worked as an artist.
Survivors include six daughters, Michelle A. White, Angela Torres, Dawne Kleeschulte, Tonia Kleeschulte, Jamie Kleeschulte and Megan Alvarez, all of Yakima; two brothers, Billy Joe Kleeschulte of Missouri and Kenny Ray Kleeschulte of Mississippi; a sister, Mary Courtway of Missouri; and 11 grandchildren.
Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home is handling cremation arrangements. Services will be held at a later date in Missouri.
James W. Emmerson
Announcement dated August 16, 2009
James "Jim" W. Emmerson, 85, of Naches died Aug. 9 in Yakima. The Moxee native was a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran.
Mr. Emmerson worked as a driver for forest firefighting crews and as a school bus driver. Survivors include numerous children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial celebration for is being planned for late September. Langevin-Mussettere Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Dean E. Schneider

Dean E. Schneider, 65, of Yakima, died Thursday in Seattle.
Mr. Schneider was born in Prosser. He worked for a construction company and was a Milky Way truck driver for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife Diana Schneider of Yakima, three children, Tony Schneider of Yakima, Jennifer Schneider of Buffalo, N.Y., and Duke Schneider of Naches; a sister Nancy Kragt of Grandview; and three grandchildren.
Viewing and visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Keith & Keith Ninth Avenue Chapel.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ahtanum Pioneer Church.
Colleen R. Jaramillo

Colleen R. Jaramillo, 35, died Friday in Harrah. Ms. Jaramillo was born in Toppenish. She was raised and educated in the Harrah/White Swan area, and was a member of the Colville Confederated Tribe.
She worked in landscaping and enjoyed traditional activities.
Survivors include two daughters, Maria Aguilar and Serena Jaramillo, both of White Swan; three brothers, Frances, Reggie and Frank Jaramillo, all of White Swan; and two sisters Larita Jaramillo of Harrah and Rose Jaramillo of White Swan.
Dressing services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Colonial Funeral Home, which is handling arrangements. Overnight services will be at the Independent Shaker Church in White Swan.
The funeral will begin at sunrise Wednesday at the Abraham Cemetery in White Swan.

Robert E. Doddroe, 62, of Yakima died at his home Friday. He was born in Portland. He worked as a mechanic, welder and carpenter.
Survivors include three daughters, SaraBeth Doddroe and Brianna Doddroe, both of Yakima, and Jasmica Doddroe of Portland; three sons, Jacques Doddroe of Portland, Joshua Doddroe of Mesa, Ariz., and Jacob Doddroe of Yakima; a sister, Ona Doddroe Knights of Yakima; and one brother, John Perkins of Milton-Freewater, Ore.
Viewing will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday followed by the funeral at 1 p.m. at the Latter-day Saints Church, 4307 Englewood Ave. in Yakima. Burial will be Sunday at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Arrangements are by Keith and Keith Funeral Home.

E. Clyde Ermey, 94, of Yakima died Tuesday in Zillah. He was born in Big Creek, Kan. She was a farmer most of his life and also worked as a bricklayer and stone mason.
Survivors include a son, Fred Ermey of Zillah; four daughters, Kathleen Nevill of Zillah, Margaret Davison of Toppenish, Donna Stephenson of White Swan and Roberta Copenhefer of Bickleton; 14 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the rosary will be 7 p.m. Sunday at Resurrection Catholic Church in Zillah. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday with burial to follow at the Zillah City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory, Zillah.

Jerry Mosey, 62, of Prosser died Tuesday. He was born in Lake Port, Calif. He served in the Navy from 1967-1971. He later worked for Sheet Metal Fabricator.
Survivors include his mother, Gladys M. Hazen of Prosser; and a brother, Larry G. Mosey of Prosser.

Mary A. Abhold, 94, of Yakima died Saturday at her home. She was born in North Roslyn.
Survivors include two sons, Tim Abhold and Jerry Abhold, both of Renton; a daughter, Barbara Gonzalez Renton; and a sister, Perina Booty of Yakima.

Delores "Ayatuula" Harrison George, 69, died Tuesday at Seattle Kindred Hospital. She was a certified teacher of the Yakama Language, Columbia River Dialect. She was also a co-owner of the Wapenish Trading Post.
Survivors include six daughters, Anna, Colleen, Arleen, Deanna, Katherine and Kristy; three sons, Gary, Brian and Mario; three sisters, Inez Sandoval, Marion Albert and Vivian Harrison; three brothers, Kenneth Harvey, Gene Harvey and Thompson Sampson;14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Dressing and overnight services were Wednesday night at the Toppenish Longhouse. Procession will leave the Toppenish Longhouse at 6 a.m.today for burial at Toppenish Creek Cemetery in White Swan. Arrangements are by Colonial Funeral Home.

William Wayne Pitts Sr., 71, of Tieton died Tuesday. Mr. Pitts was born in Cherryvale, Kan. He served as a paratrooper in the Army before working a variety of jobs, including truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Pitts of Tieton; two sons, William Wayne Pitts Jr. of Yakima and Timothy Paul Pitts of Selah; two daughters, Jeanie Pauline Sylling of Selah and Naomi Dawn Harter of Naches; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Larry Knechtel, 69, of Yakima died Thursday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. He was born in Bell, Calif. He was a musician and performed live and in the studio with top-selling artists.
Survivors include his wife, Vickie Knechtel of Yakima; a son, Lonnie Knechtel of Ferndale, Wash.; a daughter, Shelli Kokenge of Gleed; his mother, Edna Knechtel of Yreka, Calif.; two brothers, Don Knechtel of Prattville, Ala., and Bob Knechtel of Yreka; and three grandchildren.

Ruth Graber, 94, of Yakima died Thursday in Yakima.
Mrs. Graber was born in Seattle. She taught second grade in Wapato and taught in the Toppenish School District until her retirement in 1976.
Survivors include her husband, Grant Graber of Yakima; two sons, Gary Graber of Pasco and Guy Graber of Othello, Wash.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
