Susan Levack Harbin
Susan L. Harbin, born 9/2/34; died 9/11/01.
Survived by her husband, Larry Harbin; sons, Lance and Lane Harbin; two grandchildren, Cameron and Derek Harbin; and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support throughout her illness. Memorial Celebration of Susan’s life will be held at Collins Grange at 3404 - 120th St. E. in Tacoma (potluck), between 12 PM and 4 PM. Donations may be sent to the Franciscan Foundation, P.O. Kenneth Charles Dillard
U.S. Air Force Retired Born July 15, 1931, Holston Institute, TN. Called home to be with the Lord, September 20, 2001. Kenneth passed away, surrounded by his family, after complications following open heart surgery at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma, WA. Kenneth served 22 years in the Air Force; eight years as Assistant Golf Pro at Lake Spanaway G.C.; and then became owner/operator of Final Touch Janitorial for 18 years. He has also been President of the All Rockhound Pow Wow Club and Tacoma Agate Club. Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother Lena, brother Archie, daughter Ava Marie and son Kenneth Alan. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Eula; sons, James (Gail), Graham; David (Carol) and Tracy, Puyallup; Douglas (Mary), Olalla; and Michael, Spanaway; grandchildren, Sean, Christopher, Jeremiah, Jessica, Rachel, K.C., Angela, Katherine, Diana, Daniel and Emily; brothers, Robert, Harry, Wayne, Randall and Daniel; sisters, Shirley, Linda and Deborah; also survived by his father, James of Bristol, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001 at 10:00 AM at Fir Lane Funeral Chapel in Spanaway. Burial will follow in Fir Lane Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 24, 2001, 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Linda Susan Fuller
Beloved daughter of Enid Culp Roberts and stepfather Harold N. Roberts of Olympia, died in an accident August 19, 2001, while residing in California with her children, Nicole and Geoffrey Brown. Linda was born Nov. 6, 1955 in Olympia, but grew up in Fircrest and Gig Harbor. She studied classical ballet for 8 years under Jan Collum in Tacoma. Linda was a sweet, joyful girl who always thought of others first. She played the violin and loved creating entertainment with her brother for family and friends. She was the first president of her class, winning by a landslide. Her campaign slogan was, “If you vote for me, I’ll make you all Happy.” That’s what Linda did best. After graduation from Tyee High School, she studied computers at Olympia Community College. Her mother was her teacher. Linda worked for Pierce County until she met and married Howard Brown of California. She leaves behind many friends and family members who loved her dearly; her brothers, John Rockey Fuller, wife Joni, children Shannon and Sean of Chehalis; and Ted E. Henderson, wife Dolora and son Nicholas of Olympia; her grandmother, Ella May Culp of Olympia. Linda was the great granddaughter of William Fuller Sr., founder of the fuller Super Markets of Chehalis, Centralia and Olympia. She is also survived by great uncles Dr. Ted Fuller, Dr. Lloyd Fuller, and her father, John R. Fuller Jr., all of Seattle. She is preceded in death by grandfather Ellis O. Culp of Olympia, loving grandparents Jack and Dade Fuller of Olympia and Chehalis, most recently Palm Desert, CA. She was their little princess. A memorial service was held August 23, 2001 in San Clemente, CA. Linda will be remembered with a memorial stone at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Olympia. She will always and forever be missed by all who knew and loved her. A private memorial will be held at a later date in Olympia.

Harriet Alice Sweaney
Born Jan. 2, 1921 in Brainerd, MN, died Sept. 11, 2001 in Taco- ma, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband Warren, of 50 years, and her sister, Helen (Wilfred) Moran. Mrs. Sweaney leaves behind her brothers, Leroy (Margaret) Eide of Tacoma and James (Anita) Eide of Biloxi, MS; her daughters, Alice (William) Smithers of Pasco and Janice (Paul) Reising of Federal Way; grandsons William (Amy) Fonda of Milton and Andrew Fonda of Federal Way; and great granddaughter Brittany Fonda. Memorial services will be held at Hill Funeral Home, 217 E. Pioneer, Puyallup, on Friday, Oct. 12th, 3 p.m.

Lawrence Roy Wadsworth
Born June 2, 1929 to parents Robert Wadsworth and Norma Wadsworth Davis, passed away September 13, 2001 in Puyallup, WA. He is survived by sons Steven of Parker, CO and Mark of Orting, WA. Also, brothers Richard of Superior, MT and Charles of Edgewood, WA; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by former wives Delores (Sylvia Pollock) and Jo Nell. The family would like to thank special friend Vaunda Andersen and daughter Kathleen Alderman for their care and support. Also, Alan Pollock. It is requested that family and friends contact Charles and Louise Wadsworth for the date and time of a memorial gathering to be held in their Edgewood home.

CLIFFORD G. DANN
Clifford G. Dann, 86, a Gig Harbor resident for 40 years, died September 20, 2001 in Gig Harbor. Clifford was a Sales Representative for the Food/Grocery Industry. He was a World War II Veteran in the 4th Armored Division at the Battle of the Bulge and served under General Patton; a member of Teamsters Local 313, John Paul Jones Masonic Lodge in Gig Harbor and the Tacoma Poggie Club. He is survived by his wife Georgia; daughters Dona Thompson (Dave) of Phoenix, Arizona; Caryl McJunkin (Darrell), Sumter, South Carolina; Melanie Sonneman (Bob), Fircrest; sons Clifford, Jr. (Jeannie), Taco- ma; Steven, Spanaway; Theodore MacFarlane, Gig Harbor; one broth- er, Alfred Dann of Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation is set for Sunday, September 23rd from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Haven of Rest Funeral Home, Hwy 16 West, Gig Harbor. Funeral service will be Monday, September 24th at 2:00 p.m., also at Haven of Rest. Remembrances may be made to Gig Harbor Fire District 5, 6711 Kimball Dr., Gig Harbor, WA 98335. Arrangements by Haven of Rest Funeral Home, Gig Harbor.

Kyle Whitford
Graphic artist Kyle Whitford passed away September 19, 2001 at the age of 23. Born in Puyallup, Kyle graduated from Auburn High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. An accomplished artist, Kyle contributed illustrations to several Seattle publications, including The Rocket and The Stranger . Kyle also enjoyed baseball, playing guitar and the music of The Who. Kyle is survived by his parents Douglas and Judi Whitford of Lake Tapps, brother Tyson Whitford of Lake Tapps, grandparents Ralph and Barbara Whitford of Puyallup, and grandparents Don and Billie Rutledge of Enumclaw. Kyle was much loved by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed. Friends are invited to a memorial celebration, September 23, at the family home in Lake Tapps. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Cardiology Department at Children’s Medical Center, 4800 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle, WA 98105.

Kelly D. Murphy
Kelly, 45, passed away September 18, 2001 in Seattle WA. He will be greatly missed by his many family and friends. Kelly, a very professional and successful businessman in the Tacoma, WA area for many years, had resided in Washington State since moving here as a child in 1959 from British Columbia. He is survived by brother Brent Murphy, sister Colleen "Peanut" Murphy, future brother-in-law Kim Wright, and nieces Tricia and Jamie, who will miss their "Uncle Boss" greatly. Funeral services for Kelly will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2001 at Eastside Christian Church, 5816 McKinley Ave., Tacoma, WA.
