Elizabeth Marcella Donihee

Elizabeth Donihee, 90 years old, was greeted by the angels on October 6, 2003. Elizabeth was the first girl, second child in a family of thirteen children. She was born in 1913 to Anna and Eugene Hearne and grew up in Brooklyn. She graduated from St. Joseph’s College for Women with a BA in Chemistry. While working for the Maltine Company, she met Vincent Donihee, and they married
in 1942.
They lived in Charleston, West Virginia and Joliet, IL before coming to Richland in 1944 as part of the Manhattan project. Elizabeth served many roles as an active member of Christ the King Church in the beginning days of Christ the King School and the Altar Society. She had her own kiln and made hundreds of pottery projects. She was particularly gifted as a seamstress and served as Cub Scout Den mother and 4-H leader. Mom worked for Pacific Northwest Laboratory in the mid 60s in the 300 area. Later she worked at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital as a medical technician for over 20 years. Many an early snowy morning found Mom making the first tracks from Richland to Pasco.
She and Vince had a family of five children, Agnes, Ann, Mary Ellen, Patrice and Vince Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Anna Hearne, her daughter Patrice (1953), her husband Vince (1981), brothers Gene, Dan, Tom, Frances, Jim, Jack, Bill, Joe and sister Alice Hearne.
She is survived by her daughters Agnes Lapke (Leo) Walla Walla, Ann Parazin (Bob) Richland, Ellen St. Hilaire (John) Kennewick, son Vince of Richland, seventeen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and sisters, Katherine Boyle of Florida, Marie O’Toole of Long Island NY, and Sister Leonore (Nancy) of Brooklyn.
Rosary will be said Friday October 10th, at 7:00 at Einan’s Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday October 11th, at 10:00 at Christ the King Catholic Church followed by a burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland.
Marvin Perry Black

Marvin Perry Black, 89, of Richland, was born September 8, 1914, in Oskaloosa, Iowa and died Wednesday, October 1, 2003, at Kadlec Medical Center.
He was raised in Oskaloosa where his father was a railroad engineer. Marvin took great delight in riding in the cab of the steam engine with his father.
He was a natural athlete and played all sports throughout his school career. He continued athletic endeavors into his later years and became an avid golfer.
Marvin received a congressional appointment to West Point but was unable to accept due to family obligations. During World War II, he was inducted into the U. S. Army First Calvary and served in the South Pacific Theater. He was a charter member and one of the original three founding members of Richland V.F.W. Cook-Erickson Post 7952.
Mr. Black moved to Richland in 1946 where he was a construction inspector/mechanical engineering technician for General Electric and Vitro.
Marvin’s proudest moment was the birth of his son, Michael.
He is survived by sisters, Pauline, Louise and Margaret; son, Michael Black and his wife, Pamela; grandson, Alex Black; granddaughter, Theresa Black; step grandchildren, Shane and Victoria; stepsons, Andrew Menefee, Walter Menefee and stepdaughter, Beverly Wheeler.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Myrta; his second wife, Stella; a brother, John; and three sisters, Edith, Ada and Phyllis.
Graveside services will be Sunday, October 5, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Robert Franklin "Bob" Lambie

Robert Franklin “Bob” Lambie passed away Thursday, May 29, 2003, at his Kennewick home. He was 83.
Bob was born January 23, 1920, to John and Laura Lambie in a sod house in Sioux County, North Dakota.
He started school in a one-room country school where the teacher was a young girl with only a high school education. His mother passed away when he was 13, after which he was enrolled in Indian boarding schools in Fort Yates, North Dakota and Pierre, South Dakota for his elementary education. He finished his high school education at Flandreau, South Dakota Indian School. He attended South Dakota State College at Brookings after World War II.
Bob spent four years in the U. S. Navy (1941-1945) participating in all theaters of the war. He was discharged in October 1945 as a Chief Electrician’s Mate.
On July 2, 1948, he married
Alta Sorensen in Tyler, Minnesota. They lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota for 25 years where he, for awhile, had his own electrical contracting business. Bob worked at nuclear plants at Monticello, Minnesota and Palo, Iowa before being transferred to the Hanford Nuclear Reservation as an electrical supervisor in 1973. He worked there most of the time until his retirement in 1985. Bob did take two years to work at Prudue Bay in Alaska in 1983-85. After his retirement, he went back during the regular summer outages at Hanford for a number of years.
He was an active member of Richland Lutheran Church. He worked at various times as a volunteer for SHIBA (Senior Health Insurance Benefit Association) and LICWAC (Local Indian Child Welfare Advisory Committee). He also spent many hours doing volunteer electrical work when the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice Building was constructed.
Bob is survived by his wife, Alta; daughter, Karla Gaither of West Richland; sons, Richard of Richland and Jon of Snohomish and their families; and one brother, Theodore of Thermopolis, WY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2003, at Richland Lutheran Church.

Barbara Jeane (Aten) McGraw

Barbara Jeane (Aten) McGraw, 82, of Richland, WA died Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at Kadlec Hospital, Richland. She was born September 13, 1920, Rawlings, Wyoming.
Mrs. McGraw lived in the Tri-Cities 24 years and worked for Lancaster Gifts in Richland. She attended Central United Protestant Church.
Barbara was a loving mom and an officer’s wife in the Air Force for 25 years. She has spent the past 15 years traveling the world on her favorite cruise line, Holland America.
Most recently she has lived at Alterra Wynwood Assisted Living where she enjoyed keeping the staff on their toes!
Barbara is survived by daughter, Mollie McGraw Tulley of Bainbridge Island, WA and son-in-law, James Tulley; son, Charles Aten McGraw of Madres, OR and daughter-in-law, Marge McGraw; 4 grandchildren, Zach (23), Riley (16), Kathleen (14) and Madeline (15); and her loving caregiver, Ruthie Robertson.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Miriam Aten Ledford of San Antonio, TX and a son, John R. McGraw.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2002, at Einan’s Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Dorothy F. (Neitzel) Poston

Dorothy F. (Neitzel) Poston, 82, of Richland passed away on November 9, 2002 at Life Care Center of Kennewick. She was born on June 4, 1920 to Richard and Ida Radloff in Lidgerwood, ND.
Dorothy married
Gordon Neitzel on June 20, 1940. They moved their family to the Tri-Cities in 1948. Gordon passed away in 1972. In 1974, she married
Eugene M. Poston.
She is proceeded in death by her sons Glen & Gail Neitzel, parents and sisters.
Surviving are Eugene Poston, husband, daughters Gloria and (Everett) Haugen, Lavonne and (Roy) Rube, daughter-in-law Yvonne Neitzel, step- daughters Deanna and (Michael) Enzweiler and Gwenna Carlson, numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great- grandchildren and her special companion, Chico (her dog).
Dorothy enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her friends at the VFW, (she was the former local President and also District President for the VFW Ladies Auxilliary).
Services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at 2:00 pm Einan’s Funeral Home in Richland. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2002 from 2-8 pm and Wedneday, November 13, 2002 from 10-1:30 pm.

Susan Abigail "Abby" (Thomas) Brown

Abby passed away and was united with the Lord on October 15, 2002, in Pasco, Washington. She was 95.
Abby was born on February 3, 1907, in Silver Plume, Colorado and lived in Georgetown and Central City, Colorado during the earlier days of her life, where she worked as a beautician.
In 1944, Abby and her husband, Roy, moved to Hanford/Richland, Washington, where she became a fulltime homemaker.
Abby is preceded in death by husbands, Roy Thomas, Sr., Earl Brown, great grandsons, Keith and Aaron, two brothers and five sisters.
Abby is survived by her son, Roy Thomas, Jr. and wife, Donna, Kennewick, Washington, her five grandchildren and spouses, Graig Thomas (Janey), Gary Thomas (Jonni), Gailann Thomas-Black (Gary), Gwenlyn Thomas (Susan), Geoffrey Thomas (Teri) and special grand niece, Barbara Grant. She has had the opportunity to enjoy 10 wonderful great grandchildren: Jay, James-Roy, Nicole, Megan, Jocelyn, Katie, Emily, Shealyn, Kylie and Dale.
Abby has been a great inspiration to her family and friends. She has always been strong-willed in the face of adversity and remained active in spite of her age and physical disabilities.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2002, in Resthaven cemetery, Richland.
Visitation will be at Einan’s from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday.

Mary Louise Albers

Mom went to be with God on July 4th 2003 at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland WA. She was born Mary Louise Stonebreaker on the 27th of July, 1938. She lived in the Tri-Cities for more than fifty years. She was married
to her first husband, Mason GW Jennings for 27 years. She then met and married
the love of her life Bobby Dale "Dad", and spent the next eighteen years helping to raise grandchildren and sharing their mutual love for music, friends and family. Mom loved the ocean and sitting in the rain, thunder and lighting, while reading from her bible. Mom worked most of her life, her last jobs being at C.A.C. in Pasco and as a Child advocate.
She was a Sunday School teacher for many years, for Kennewick Baptist and Emanuel Baptist churches. She loved being a Christian and living for the lord. She also loved helping her husband in matters concerning the Vietnam Veterans, and riding behind him on his Harley.
She is preceded in death by her parents Herschel and Pauline Stonebreaker, sister Patty, son Micheal, her niece Dawnelle. She will be joining them in heaven.
She is survived by her husband Bobby Dale Albers. Her sister, best friend, confidant, and soul mate Alice Lane Smith. Her son and wife Rick and Sherri Jennings, Son Don Jennings. Her daughters, Tammy Balmes, Becky Wieland, and Gail Jennings. Her Step son and wife Jeff and Angie Albers, Step son Jeremy Albers, and Step Daughter Shannon Kingsley. Her grandchildren, Renee, Valerie and Enc Larson, Mary Jean, Dusty, Jeffery Mason aka moose, Michelle, Shantel, Heather, Keisha, Jessica Rose, Sadie Lynn, Destiny, Jordan, Aaron, Kyle, Jaydon, Rebecca, Emily, Megan. Great Grandchildren, Austin, Brenden, Rylie, Tanner, Eric, Kassandra, Julia, Scott, and the baby Hailey Jane Louise. Multiple nieces and nephews. Inlaws from both marriages who she loved dearly. Friends whom she considered a part of her extended family. Her for legged Friends Milo and Bear, Mom will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
From her loving husband Bobby Dale, "My Angels beautiful voice has been returned to God, for she was but a gift."
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday July 9th at 10:00am at the Riverview Heights cemetery with a Celebration of Life to follow at In Step Baptist Church in Finely, 201508 E. Finely Rd. Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 8, from 4:00 – 8:00pm at Einan’s Funeral Home.
