Mary Loretta Spencer, 64, of Pasco, Washington passed away in her home surrounded by family on Saturday, February 2, 2002.
She was born on September 25, 1937 in Flandreau, South Dakota to Howard and Dora Hamilton. Mary, a resident of the Tri-Cities area for seven years, was a LPN nursing supervisor at Callaway Gardens Alzheimer’s Care Unit and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by 5 children, daughters Kathleen Spencer of St. Paul, MN, Kim Cardelli-Allwood of North Branch, MN, sons Kerry Spencer of Denim, MN, Howard Spencer of Santiago, Chile and Charles Spencer of Las Vegas, NV, sister
Marlene Bosworth of Coalville, UT, brother Gary Hamilton of Tucson, AZ, 13 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Dora and Howard Hamilton, brother Kenneth and sisters Rose and Dora.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 5, 2002, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Relief Society Room at the LDS Stake Center, 2004 Road 24, Pasco, Washington with funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2002, at Union cemetery in Flandreau, South Dakota.
Donations may be made to Callaway Gardens, 5505 W. Skagit Court, Kennewick, WA 99336.

Lucille E. Hayward

E. Lucille Hayward, 87, of Richland, WA, died Monday, January 28, 2002, at home.
Lucille was born to George and Florence Dick in Mount Rainier, Maryland in 1915. She and her twin brother were so tiny they were placed in shoe boxes under the wood stove to be kept warm. She grew up in Illinois until the depression separated the family to be reunited in Denver in 1934.
Her 65-year marriage to Ron began in Denver in 1936. They lived in Colorado and Nevada mining towns until the War brought the family to Richland in 1944. Her favorite travels were to Hawaii.
Lucille was a dedicated homemaker and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Hayward; sons, Wes Hayward of Beaverton, OR and Dennis Hayward of Vancouver, WA; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Donna Lu (1938); a brother, George Dick (1992), and her twin brother, Lloyd (January 24, 2002).
Cryptside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2002, in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be at Einan’s Funeral Home from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Luella Miles Stolp
April 25, 1920 - January 30, 2002

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Luella Miles Stolp passed away on Jan. 30, 2002, in Richland, Washington at the age of 81, after several years of illness. She was born in Smithfield, Utah on April 25, 1920. She was the daughter of John and Sarah Miles, the oldest of six children. The family came to the Hanford area in 1939 and settled in the Cold Creek Area. They lived there until the U.S. Government took over the area. They moved from there to Sunnyside, WA. She was married in 1943 and had seven children. Later divorcing, and left to raise seven children, in 1959, she married John Stolp, the father of one daughter, and moved to Yakima. Together they had 2 more, making a family of 10 children. In 1974, they moved to Richland, WA. Her life was full with hard work, a loving family, and a great love and faith in her Heavenly Father. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. During her years of illness, she was cared for by several family members and lived for an extensive time in Boise, Idaho and Grantsville, Utah.
She is survived by her husband, John Stolp of Richland, WA; children, Linda Weimer of SLC, UT; Diane Funderburk and husband Dorsey of Gastonia, NC; Irene Gunderson of Grantsville, UT; Kathy Hunzeker and husband Bill of Magna, UT; Mark Stolp and wife Nadine of Petaluma, CA; Paulla Woodworth and husband Roger of Boise, ID; Sandra Thornock and husband Todd of Kennewick, WA; Tamara Murdoch of Mattawa, WA; Carol Avery and husband Gary of Kent, WA; 48 grandchildren and 38 great grand children.
Luella was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sarah Miles; brother, Reese Miles; sister, Adeline Miles; daughter, Toni Jean Stolp; Grandson Larry Weimer and son-in-law, Steve Gunderson.
A viewing is scheduled on Sunday Feb. 3, 2002 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Einan's Funeral Home in Richland, WA.
Memorial Services will be held Monday Feb. 4, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the Thayer Chapel in Richland WA.
Burial (Interment) services will be at the West Hills Memorial Park cemetery in Yakima, WA at 3:00 p.m. Monday.

Axel Conrad Garberg
October 07, 1943 - August 04, 2004

Axel C. Garberg rolled out with the thunder and created lightning as he joined the others above early Tuesday morning, August 3, 2004.
Axel was born to Vern B. and Vivian Garberg on October 7, 1943, in Superior, Wisconsin. On August 23, 1963, Axel married his high school sweetheart, Tonya Day.
He worked construction for 20 years as a laborer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and four-wheeling. He spent the previous 10+ years growing cherries.
Axel is survived by Tonya; four sons, Vernon F. Garberg, his wife, Kathy and daughters, Carmen and Wendy; Tony T. Garberg and wife, Jodi and daughter, Jordon; A. Scott Garberg, and Gib D. Garberg, DC; sisters, Verna Lee Prochy (Andy) and son, Greg; Lila Gardner (Doug), son, Benjamin, daughter, Alicia and her husband, Jess; Billie Dawkins (Kevin) son and daughter, Michael and Katlan; brothers, James Michael (Joyce) Carla and Michael; Benjamin Don (Sheri); Dennis Ray (Lisa) Hillary, Marisa, Lexie and Charles.
“Gramps” will be remembered by all for his generous heart, his care packages when family was ill, the predicaments he got himself into, hunting stories, his love for his family, his laughter, ornery nature, his “well taken care of” granddaughters, and his sidekick, Minnie.
Friends and family are welcome to join a celebration of Axel’s life on Saturday, August 14, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. for a potluck dinner at the Benton City American Legion.

Michael Houston Belcher
July 22, 1939 - July 25, 2004

Michael Houston Belcher, 65, was born July 22, 1939, in Muskogee, OK and died July 25, 2004, at his West Richland home.
He moved to Arkansas in January 1940, and to West Richland, WA in June 1947.
Michael is survived by his twin sister and brother, Rosemary Griffith (Donald), Tulsa OK and Charles Hayden Belcher (Camillia), Napa Valley, CA; brothers, James Philip Belcher (Terri), Prosser, WA and William David Belcher, Waitsburg, WA; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Mike was preceded in death by his Father, Claude Houston Belcher, 1954 and his Mother, Elda O. Belcher, 1988. Mike worked for Pacific Fruit and Produce in Othello, WA from 1968-1980, then worked for Spada Distribution Co. in Pasco from 1980 -1984 when he went to work for Rockwell Inc. at Hanford. He was put on medical pension from Fluor Daniel in 1988 until his retirement on July 23, 2004. Mike enjoyed metal dectecting, fishing, visiting with his friends and watching TV. He will be missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, August 7, 2004, at Einan’s Funeral Home. Inurnment was held in Resthaven cemetery, Richland.

Robert Dean Chambliss
September 15, 1968 - July 18, 2004

Robert Dean Chambliss (Bob) passed away on July 18, 2004, in a place he loved and loved to share with others, "The River". Bob was born on September 15, 1968, in Portland, Ore., to Robert and Teresa Chambliss. Two weeks later the family moved to Richland where he shared his entire life with his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his ever-loving wife, Lisa, his children: Robby, Samantha, Alex, Matthew, Breanna, and his mother, Teresa (Grandma), whom he loved with all his heart. Bob is also survived by his sister, Tonya Howser, her husband, Marty, his nephew, Riley "Man", his sister, Cindy Chambliss, her fiancé Billy Thomas, nieces, Angie, Karissa and many other loving relatives, who will miss him dearly.
Bob loved to sturgeon fish, but his greatest joy in life was taking the kids on one of his special adventures, which almost always turned out unforgettable.
Bobby will be missed by his family and many close friends, but his memory lives on in the countless number of people who loved him.
Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland, at 9:30a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2004. The family will hold a celebration of Bob's life after the services. Those who wish to share in the joy of his life are invited.

Frances Pearl Lundberg
June 10, 1929 - July 29, 2004

Our beautiful, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend left us on July 29, 2004, to be with our Lord Jesus. He needed another angel, and he chose ours.
Mother, or Granny as she was called, was born in North Dakota on June 10, 1929. She lived a full active life from being an undercover narcotics agent in Longview, WA to being a manager at the Top Hat in Pasco, WA.
She was preceded in death by her loving companion, Charles Green; her mother, Della Brown; son, James Milloy; sister, Charlotte; brother, Neil; sister, Loraine, and by her ex-husband, Johnny Wade.
She is survived by daughter, Sandra Wade; Sharon Weitzel and her husband, Dan; sons, Corky Milloy; Archie Milloy and his wife, Barb; grandchildren Mira Fitzhugh, Robert Wade, Shannon Bales, and many more; great grandchildren and the joy of her life, Sondra Fitzhugh, Tanner, and many more.
No one will ever know the impact she made on people’s lives. She was always willing to help anyone in need as well as kick a butt in need. I love you my sweet momma. Goodbye for now my sweet angel. I’ll see you soon. Sandy

Charles "Chuck" Parker
August 26, 1940 - August 01, 2004

Charles "Chuck" Parker went to his final reward, August 1, 2004. He had been in Kadlec hospital since suffering a stroke on July 28.
Chuck was born in a log cabin, August 26, 1940 to Lloyd Parker and Mildred Johnson Parker in Airpine, Arizona. He lived in both Arizona and Oregon until settling in the Tri-Cities in 1977. He was a journeyman sheet rocker for many years and ended his working career with Siemens Corporation. Chuck loved to dress up and anonymously play Secret Santa for less fortunate families in the community. He was also civic minded, volunteering for many years with the Jaycees.
Chuck loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a lifetime outdoorsman, who loved camping, fishing and hunting. He took the time to reveal the wonders of the great outdoors to his family and teach them outdoorsmanship skills. He also loved playing poker and telling jokes and stories. Chuck was a practical jokester who loved razzing his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mickey and Bill Anderson of Sun City, AZ., brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and June Parker of Tri-Cities, Randy and Lois Parker of Sun City, AZ., and sister Joann Wright of Glendale, AZ; daughters Ina Maez of Waldport, OR., and Angie Kraft of Benton City, son & daughter-in-law Sonny and Nadine Parker of Priest River, ID. Grandchildren, Brock Maez, Gwen Maez, and Garrette Kraft, two great-grandchildren, Brayton and Noah, and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Parker, in 1983.
A memorial celebration of his life will be held, Sunday August 8, 2004 at the Richland Community Center, 500 Amon Park Drive, at 6:30 pm. (Please dress casually, bring an appetite, and if you would like, a special memory of Chuck to share.)
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the DaVita Mid-Columbia Kidney Center.
