Wendy Jane Lorenzen
1961-2015
“Either death is a state of nothingness and utter consciousness, or as men say, there is a change and migration of the soul from this world to another. Now if death be of such a nature, I say that to die is to gain; for eternity is then only a single night.” — Plato
A spirited soul who lived life by her own rules. Wendy passed away after a battle with cancer. She was the daughter of James Bryson and Margaret E. Utes. Wendy grew up in the Aberdeen-Hoquiam area and is a member of the Quinault Tribe. Wendy spent much of her young life with Martha Halverson who had a major influence on her up-bringing. Wendy was living in Tillamook, Ore. at the time of her death.
Wendy had a love of animals and always had a few cats or a dog. Her favorite pet was her pit bull named Blue. Wendy was an avid Elvis fan and collected Elvis memorabilia. “Little things I should have said and done, I just never took the time, You were always on my mind, you were always on my mind.” — Elvis. She was also a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan and also collected Packers’ memorabilia.
