Pamala E. Auman, 52, of Onalaska, passed away January 13, 2013 at Harborview Hospital in Seattle. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Cattermole Funeral Home in Winlock.
Vernon A. Bennett
SOUTH BEND -- Vernon Allen Bennett, a longtime Willapa Harbor resident, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at his home in South Bend. He was 80.
He quit school early to join the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was awarded a special high school diploma in 2003 at the Willapa Valley High School.
Graveside inurnment will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at the Menlo cemetery where full military honors will be accorded by the Marine Corps.
Memorial donations are suggested to Willapa Harbor Helping Hands, the Raymond Fire Department or the Marine Corps League, Twin Harbor detachment.
Arrangements are by Stoller's Mortuary in Raymond.
Richard A. Kinsman
SEATTLE -- Montesano resident Richard Allen Kinsman died Sunday, Aug.7, 2011, at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. He was 65.
Arrangements are being planned and will be announced.

Leslie Vessey
SUMMIT LAKE -- Leslie D. Vessey of Olympia died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, in her Summit Lake home. She was 53.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Whiteside Family Mortuary in Elma. A funeral will begin at 11a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Anne E. KinKade
MONTESANO -- Anne Elizabeth KinKade of Elma died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at the Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 89. Arrangements are by Whiteside Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.
Roy Kelley
Roy M. Kelley, a longtime resident of Hoquiam, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at his home in Hoquiam. He was 79.
He had worked for numerous local mills, retiring from Mayr Brothers in 1996.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam. A graveside service with military honors will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Hoquiam's Sunset Memorial Park.

Russell P.W. Everitt
SOUTH BEND -- Russell Patrick William Everitt died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011, at his home in South Bend. He was 61.
He worked for Weyerhaeuser from 1973 until 1980 then for the International Longshore & Warehouse Union until 2006.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Raymond. Inurnment services will be held at a later date.

Richard Bertrand Green
February 21, 1933 - March 10, 2014
Richard “Dick” Green died Monday, March 10th, 2014 at the age of 81 at Providence St. Peters Hospital in Olympia, with his wife, Mary K., by his side. He was born February 21st, 1933 to Hilda and Fenton Green in Chehalis, WA. Dick attended Buckley schools through the 7th grade before moving to South Bend where he graduated from South Bend High School in 1951. Following high school graduation, Dick attended and played football at Grays Harbor College prior to serving in the United States Army.
After returning to South Bend, he was employed by the Pacific County Engineers Office. In 1957, Dick married
Mary K. Watts, and they made their home in South Bend and raised their four children. He was appointed Post Master of South Bend by the United States Postal Service, and worked until retirement after 28 years. Dick was a retired member of the South Bend Volunteer Fire Department, where he proudly served his community. He was also very proud to be a member of the American Legion Honor Guard.
Dick enjoyed everything that Pacific County embodies, including hunting, fishing, clam digging, and even the rain to name a few.
Dick loved to follow his children and grandchildren in their academic and athletic endeavors. He also was very proud of the 2010 South Bend State Championship football team, as he was part of the only other undefeated South Bend football team of 1950.
Dick was preceded in death by his mother, father, brother, Johnny Donovan, and sister, Donna Wetterauer.
Dick is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary K. who resides at the family home in South Bend, as well as his four children; Brian (Kelly) Green of Monitor, WA, Marla (Steve) Koplitz of Enumclaw, WA, Ron (Jodi) Green of Buckley, WA, and Jerry (Laurie) Green of Naselle, WA. Papa (Dick) is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, who were the joy of his life.
Memorials may be made to the South Bend Volunteer Fire Department or the Outreach Committee of St. Lawrence Church (P.O. Box 31, Raymond, WA 98577). Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
Bill Bearden
OLYMPIA -- Bill J. Bearden of Westport died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. He was 55. He had been the circulation director at The Daily World.
Arrangements are pending through Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Donna C. Haxton, 79, of Vancouver, passed away December 9th, 2012 in Battle Ground, Washington. No services were held.
Charles Dea
EVERETT -- Former Harborite Charles Dea of Everett died Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, in Everett. He was 58.
He had lived in Aberdeen, Hoquiam, Ocean Shores and Westport.
Family and friends will gather at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, in Westport to spread his ashes, followed by a dinner at the home of Jackie and Lamb Oliver, 1115 Butler St. in Aberdeen. Call 589-2404 for more information.

Charles Edward Ward of Aberdeen died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 93.

Lois F. Warber
Lois Frances Warber of Cosmopolis died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at the Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 77.
There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Forest Hill cemetery in Cosmopolis.

Vernice I. Trenckmann
OLYMPIA -- Vernice Irene Trenckmann, a long time resident of Satsop and Olympia, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. She was 100.
A graveside inurnment service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at Satsop cemetery.
Arrangements are by Whiteside Family Mortuary in Elma.
Warren S. Peller
MONTESANO -- Warren Shea Peller of Montesano died Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at Montesano Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was 92.
Services are being planned and will be announced later. Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.
Jean Shofner
TACOMA -- Aberdeen resident and Tacoma native Jean E. Shofner died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma. She was 80. She was a graduate of the Grays Harbor College nursing program and had worked as a nurse and been a homemaker.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Coleman Mortuary Chapel in Hoquiam. Interment will follow at Aberdeen's Fern Hill cemetery.

Aaron Leroy Workman
(February 28, 1936 - January 2, 2013)
Aaron went to be with his heavenly Father, at home, on January 2, 2013. He was born February 28, 1936, in Riffe, Wa. To Ribern D. and Shirley (Ward) Workman.
His Army tour of duty took him to Germany. He met his wife of 55 years, Barbara, in Colorado Springs, Colo. where he was last stationed. They resided in Renton where they both were employed at Boeing. In 1972 he returned to Mossyrock and worked for Champion as a timber faller. After Champion terminated their logging operation, he started Workman Logging, retiring after 19 years.
He was active in the community, coaching both sons in youth sports, basketball and baseball. He was a Cub Scout master and also served on the Mossyrock School Board. He loved hunting, fishing, working in his flowers, and on his property, and barbeque get-togethers.
He leaves behind his wife, sons Kevin of Silver Creek and Jeff (Julie) of Mossyrock, grandson Jason (Amanda) of Lynwood, brothers Robert (Barbara) of Mossyrock, James (Mozelle) of Enterprise, Oregon, sisters Velma Forester (Harrison) of Winlock, Wanda Russell of Moses Lake, Alice (Arlis) of Mossyrock and numerous nieces and nephews and many dear family and friends.
A celebration of life will take place on February 2 at 11:00 at the Salkum Fire Hall. A potluck will follow. Private inurnment at Doss cemetery.
