Martimiano Ramirez-Cruz of Elma died as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, on the Ocean Beach Road outside of Hoquiam. He was 28.
Services will be announced in The Daily World later this week. Burial will take place in Concepcion Carrizal, Mexico.

Dale L. Andrews of Satsop died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, in Aberdeen. He was 53.

Jananne "Ann" Pierce of Elma died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, in Montesano at the age of 89.
A service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 3, at Whiteside Family Mortuary in Elma.

A memorial service for former Aberdeen resident Mary Jane Preston, who died Nov. 27, 2010, in Lacey, will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 2, in the chapel at Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen. Inurnment will take place in Fern Hill cemetery in Aberdeen.
Bessie E. Hutsell
MONTESANO -- Bessie Eleanor Hutsell of Aberdeen died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at the Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 97.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 11, at New Beginnings Community Fellowship, 301, North B St. in Aberdeen. A full obituary will appear later in The Daily World.

Basil J. Sandstrom
Lifetime Hoquiam resident Basil John Sandstrom died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at his home in Hoquiam. He was 78.
He served in the U.S. Navy and later worked for Western Steel for 40 years, retiring as their office manager.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 3, at the Saron Lutheran Church in Hoquiam.
The family requests donations be sent to the Saron Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or to the Saron Lutheran Church Relay For Life Team, P.O. Box 517, Hoquiam 98550. Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
Khamman Chan
SOUTH BEND -- Raymond resident Khamman Chan died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at the Willapa Harbor Hospital in South Bend. He was 45.
He was employed at Coast Seafoods Inc. in South Bend.
A service will be held at noon, Saturday, Dec. 4, at Stoller's Mortuary in Raymond, followed by a procession to the Fern Hill Crematory in Aberdeen for cremation services.
Grant V. Salem
Grant Victor Salem died Friday, March 4, 2011 at his home in Aberdeen. He was 57.
Cremation arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.
Mark Iverson
OLYMPIA -- Mark Iverson of McCleary died from leukemia on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, in Olympia. He was 48.
He worked at Bayview Building Materials in Olympia for more than 20 years.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 12, at South Sound Manor, 455 North St. SE in Tumwater.

A celebration of her life will begin at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, at Whiteside Family Mortuary in Elma.

RAYMOND -- South Bend resident Glenna Darlene Gandenberger died Friday, March 4, 2011, at the Willapa Harbor Care Center in Raymond. She was 74.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

A celebration of life for Victor Salem -- known by many as "Watchman" -- who died March 4 in Aberdeen, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 26, at Harbor City Church, 1700 Cherry St. in Aberdeen.

Marilyn D. Erickson
LACEY -- Marilyn Dorletta Erickson died Wednesday March 2, 2011, at the Panorama City Convalescent Center in Lacey. She was 73.
She had worked many years as a Registered Nurse.
Marilyn's service will be at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Olympia on Friday, March 18, at 11 a.m.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mills & Mills Funeral Home in Tumwater.
Salvina Valdillez-Patten
Salvina Valdillez-Patten, 48, died on March 10, 2011, at Vibra Specialty Hospital in Portland, Ore.
She had lived in Taholah most of her life and had worked for the Quinault Indian nation as a grant writer, director of the TANF (Temporary assistance to Needy Families), a caseworker for Workfirst and as the Director for TERO (Tribal Employment Rights Opportunities).
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 16 at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam. Interment will follow at Hoquiam's Sunset Memorial Park.
Wilson A. Chang
SOUTH BEND -- South Bend resident Wilson Anthony Chang died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at the home of his daughter where he had lived since July of 2009. He was 91.
He was an accountant at Alcan in Jamaica for many decades.
Cremation arrangements were by Stoller's Mortuary of Raymond and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Toronto, Canada, where he will be buried beside his wife.

A celebration of life for longtime Harbor resident Gaye C. Kaiyala, who died Feb. 19 in Hoquiam, will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 16, at Alder Grove Church of God in Aberdeen.
The family suggests memorials be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.

Longtime Harborite Robert William McCracken died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at his home in Hoquiam following an extended illness. He was 80.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 16, at the Coleman Mortuary Chapel in Hoquiam. Concluding services and interment with military honors will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park.
