MORTON -- Former Aberdeen resident Helen (Nelson) Smathers of Randle died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at the Morton Manor in Morton. She was 84.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Silverbrook cemetery in Randle, followed by a celebration of her life at 3 p.m. in the Church of Glenoma in Glenoma.
Arrangements are by Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary in Centralia.

OCEAN SHORES -- Lee Goch of Ocean Shores died at his home on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010. He was 83.

Bobby Joe Stafford died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at his home in Hoquiam. He was 53.

Albert Clark
Albert D. Clark of Cosmopolis died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 88.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, with a celebration of his life following at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Harrison Family Mortuary, 311 W. Market St., in Aberdeen.
Mary Wagner
Mary A. Wagner, 67, a longtime resident of the Harbor, died Saturday Nov. 13, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen.
She had worked as a nurse in nursing homes and the detoxification center in Hoquiam.
Arrangements are by Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
Doris J. Adams
TAHOLAH -- Doris Jane Adams, a resident of Taholah, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at her home in Taholah. She was 66.
She had worked as an assistant cook for the Taholah School District, a clipper for Quinault Fisheries and as a commercial clam digger.
Visitation will be at the Coleman Mortuary from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15. A service will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, at the Taholah School cafeteria.
Elbert H. Schumacher
Visitation for former Harborite Elbert Hanford Schumacher, who died Nov. 7, in Harrington, will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, followed by a graveside service at 1 p.m. in Fern Hill cemetery in Aberdeen.
Harold Gene Davis
(February 20, 1945 - December 15, 2012)
Harold Gene Davis, 67, of Chehalis, passed away December 15, 2012 at home. Harold was born in Heber, Arkansas and worked as a long haul truck driver. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Cattermole Funeral Home in Winlock.
Henry Oslund
SEATTLE -- Henry Oslund, a longtime resident of Hoquiam, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Seattle. He was 90.
He had been an employee of Evans Products for many years and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Hoquiam.
Services information will be announced later by Fern Hill Funeral Home, Aberdeen.
Merle M. Bartel
Merle Mary Bartel died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at her home in Hoquiam. She was 85.
She and her husband were Washington Grade A Dairy Farmers in Snohomish for nearly 40 years.
Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.
Belinda B. Osborne
SEATTLE -- Belinda B. Osborne died Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. She was 54 and a resident of Hoquiam.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, at the Humptulips Valley Chapel.
Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
Susan Marie Bertrand
OLYMPIA -- Susan Marie Bertrand of Aberdeen died Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. She was 54.
Funeral arrangements are by Funeral Alternatives of Tumwater.
G. Louise Ford
G. Louise Ford died Nov. 11, 2020, in Hoquiam. She was 82.
Ford once worked at Grays Harbor Paper, in Hoquiam retired several years ago to care for her husband.
There will be no memorial service.
Donations may be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
Russell Eugene Wright
July 5, 1963 - March 11, 2015
Russell Eugene Wright, a South Bend resident died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen, he was 51. Russell was born July 5, 1963 in Othello, WA to James and Opal (Hankins) Wright.
Russell was a graduate of La Puente High School in California, and achieved an Associate’s Degree in automotive technology.
He is survived by three brothers; Steven and Raymond Wright of Cushing, Oklahoma, and James Wright of Hoquiam, Washington. He is also survived by two sisters; Katherine Geddie, of Oregon, and Patricia Shermer of South Bend, Washington.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.

CATHERINE W. SAMPLES, 82, Onalaska, died Saturday, Jan. 12, at Providence St. Peter Hospital, Olympia. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 18th at Cattermole Funeral Home in Winlock. Arrangements are under the direction of Cattermole Funeral Home.
Dale Edward Bucklin
Dale Edward Bucklin of Federal Way died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at his mother's home in Aberdeen. He was 43.
Bucklin was serving in the U.S. Air Force.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church, 100 E. 2nd St. in Aberdeen. Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.
Robert Freeman
Lifelong Hoquiam resident and lifelong Grizzly fan Robert L. Freeman died of complications from cancer Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 81.
He had worked for F.G. Peterson as a bucker and Rayonier as a saw mechanic and filer, retiring in 1990.
Inurnment graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 12, at Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam. A celebration of his life will be from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 14, at the Hoquiam Elks Lodge.

HARRINGTON -- Former Harborite Elbert Hanford Schumacher died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, in Harrington. He was 89.
