Aberdeen resident Rose Chadwick died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam. She was 66.

Arrangements are by Funeral Alternatives of Washington in Lacey.

Ti-ryn Keith Vanderveur

Aberdeen 5-month-old Ti-ryn Keith Vanderveur died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010 at Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen. A funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow the service at Fern Hill cemetery.

Chad Todd

COPALIS CROSSING -- Aberdeen resident Chad M. Todd died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, in Copalis Crossing. He was 25.

While in high school, he worked for Locke Construction. He would later work for RC Fence, John Lupo Construction and was currently working as a heavy equipment operator for Quigg Brothers Construction.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at Hoquiam's Sunset Memorial Park. A celebration of his life will follow at 4 p.m. at the Cottonwood Ranch at Copalis Crossing.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Peggy J. Kendall

TACOMA -- Peggy Jean Kendall, a 30-year Ocean Shores resident, died Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, in Tacoma.

She was a manager at the Ocean Shores Liquor Store and retired after a 25-year career with the Washington State Liquor Board.

A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Ocean Shores Elks Club

The family requests donations to the Ocean Shores Elks Club.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Jane H. Nicholas

Visitation for former Aberdeen resident Jane Horne Nicholas, who died Oct. 27 in Shelton, will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday and Friday, Nov. 4 and 5, at the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

A funeral will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, also at Coleman's. A private interment will be at Hoquiam's Sunset Memorial Park.

Donald "Rocky" Pieraccini

Donald "Rocky" Pieraccini of Hoquiam died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 54.

Cremation arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

David E. Medley

FORKS -- David Earl Medley, a longtime Hoquiam area resident, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at Forks General Hospital in Forks. He was 63.

He worked at Ocean Spray for numerous years and for the past several years he had been a boiler man for the Allen Lumber Mill near Forks.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21, at the Coleman Mortuary, 422 5th St. in Hoquiam. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 22, also at Coleman's. A concluding service and interment will follow in the Aberdeen Fern Hill cemetery.

The family requests donations be sent to the Immanuel Baptist Church, 1200 Soule Ave., Hoquiam, 98550.

Donald S. Stone

Donald Scott Stone, a resident of Aberdeen for three years, died at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen, Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010. He was 55.

He had lived in California for many years, moving to Renton in 1983 where he was a collection agent. He came to Aberdeen to be near family.

A graveside service will be held at noon Thursday, Oct. 21, in Fern Hill cemetery followed by a memorial service at South Aberdeen Baptist Church.

Arrangements are by Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Dolores C. Brown

Dolores Christine Brown of Grayland died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at the Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 82.

Arrangements are by Whiteside Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Peggy A. Schmidt

Peggy Ann Schmidt died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at her home in the Wynooche Valley. She was 56.

A celebration of her life will be held at noon, Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Central Park Neighborhood Church, 7010 Bryrwood Drive.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Kale D. Kalama

Kale Dominic Kalama, infant son of Jamie and Laura Kalama of Aberdeen, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. Kale was born just two days earlier, on Oct. 9.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 18 and 19, at Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam. An Indian Shaker service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 20, also at Coleman's. Interment will follow at Hoquiam's Sunset Memorial Park.

Nancy K. (Walberg) Membrere

MARYSVILLE -- Former Harborite Nancy Kay (Walberg) Membrere of Arlington died Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, in Marysville. She was 56.

She spent her childhood in Aberdeen and attended Aberdeen schools.

A service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17, at the Montesano Moose Lodge. A second service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 18, at the First Baptist Church of Marysville.

Arrangements are by Funeral Alternatives of Marysville.

Shirley Nelson

Shirley M. Nelson, lifelong Aberdeen resident, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010 at her home in Aberdeen. She was 90.

There will be gathering at Fern Hill cemetery later in the week.

Arrangements are by Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Cathrine B. Fitterer

Cathrine Bridges Fitterer, a longtime Westport area resident, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 83.

She worked at the Acme Door Plant in Hoquiam and later operated her own business of selling sea shells and jewelry up and down the West Coast.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 16 and 17, at the Coleman Mortuary, 422 5th Street in Hoquiam and from 9 to 10:40 a.m., Monday, Oct. 18 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2735 Riverview Drive in Aberdeen. A funeral will follow at 11 a.m., at the church.

Concluding services with vault interment will follow in the Aberdeen Fern Hill cemetery.

The family requests donations be sent to the Westport Timberland Library, 101 East Harms Ave., Westport, WA 98595-1410.
