Although she lived her life locally, Kathy saw other parts of the world with trips to Europe, Taiwan, Hawaii and Alaska's North Slope.
She and our sister, Jackie, enjoyed several trips in the western states and Canada with their sons when the boys were younger.
Kathy was our family historian and we are going to miss her knowledge of the long-time Bateman histories of Kennewick.
Her final years were spent at home.
She was a longtime member of the Kennewick Eagles and had a lot of fun playing darts with her good friends, Jerry and Jimmy.
