They lived in Clinton, Arkansas until 1946.
The family lived in what is now Columbia Park.
The little building, that was their home, still exists today and is used by park services.
After a huge wind storm that blew some of the neighbors' homes, and almost theirs, into the river, they moved to Walla Walla.
While living in Walla Walla, they farmed Walla Walla sweet onions and owned a large Victorian home.
Her husband and sons built "Evergreen Market", later they changed the name to, "The Boy's Market".
After the old store burnt down, they replaced it with a 7-11 that still exists today.
In 1962, they made Kennewick their permanent home.
The family built and operated the first fully automated car wash in the area, known today as, "Jiffy Carwash."
She was happiest fishing with "Pop", quilting, playing with babies, working in her garden and cooking for our large family get-togethers.
She would say, "There's always a place at the table for one more."
She will be remembered most for her kindness, generosity, loving ways, and always being there when you needed her.
