Anna May Malachi, age 62, passed away on October 29, 2007 after a short battle with esophogial cancer.
Anna May was born April 29, 1945 in New York City to Adelaide and Salvatore Magistro.
In 1948, she and her mother moved west to Southern California.
As a young girl, she helped her mother with her tax business.
She continued doing taxes for many years.
In 1964, she married
Luis Sanchez.
After having five children, Anna May decided she wanted to persue a career in nursing.
In 1983, she completed the program with high honors.
She found her calling working in emergency and trauma centers in California.
In 1987, she married
Reverend Ronald Malachi, two years later they moved to Pasco, WA where he was appointed pastor of St. James CME Church.
Once in Pasco, she continued to work as an emergency room nurse.
She was a kind and wonderful person who will be missed by all.
Anna May was preceded in death by her son; Alexander Sanchez and husband; Ronald Malachi.
She is survived by daughter; Miranda Sanchez of Pasco and three sons; Louie and Jill Sanchez of Frederick, CO, Vinnie and Kim Sanchez of Corona, CA and Dominic and Susie Sanchez of Pasco, five grandchildren; Mariah, Sierra, Kaela, Makenna and Vincent.

Sylvia E. Pappenheim Dukelow, 94, long time Pasco resident passed away on October 31, 2007.
She was born on October 27, 1913 in Sunnyside, Washington to Richard & Ora Simpson.
Sylvia graduated in 1933 from Grandview High School and in 1935 she and William Pappenheim were married
.
They had 2 children, Barbara Mattingley from Alexandria, Virginia and D.W. 'Duke' Pappenheim of Prosser, WA.
In 1964 she married
the love of her life, Frank Dukelow and lived in Pasco, WA.
They had many happy years to dance, travel and enjoy all the many clubs they both belonged to.
She was an avid bowler up to the age of 85 years, a past president of V.F.W. Auxiliary in Richland, WA, a member of Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Country Fair BBQ, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Pasco Moose and in 1972 joined Phi Sigma Alpha.
She and Frank were members of the Roaming Elks 1730 Tri-Cities.
She was a charter member of the 'Girls Night Out' Club and enjoyed every Wednesday night dinner.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Richard & Ora Simpson; siblings, Lillie, Dorothy, Claude and Harvey.
Sylvia is survived by her loving daughter, Barbara Ann (friend George Halfpap) Mattingley of Alexandria, VA. and son Duke (Linda) Pappenheim of Prosser; grandchildren, Sheri, Cindy, Steve, Sondra, Travis, Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Makenna, Jarot, Logan, Kaytee, Jessica, Victoria, Yvonne & Brian; great-great-grandchildren, Hailee & Luca; her beloved caregiver, Bonnie Nelson along with everyone at Legacy Manor Family Home in Kennewick.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mueller’s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street in Kennewick, and Funeral Services will follow the visitation beginning at 1:00pm.
After the burial, a reception and wake will be held at Columbia Basin Shrine Club on Sylvester Street in Pasco.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Shriners Hospital for Children, Spokane, Washington.
George Raymond Banning Sr.
Born in Ferry County, Washington on Mar. 25, 1914
Departed on Nov. 2, 2007 and resided in Richland, WA.

George passed away peacefully in Kennewick, Washington on November 2, 2007.
He was born in Kettle Falls, Washington on March 25, 1914 to Ephriam and Lenora Banning.
He was the youngest of fourteen children.
In Colville, George married
Mabel Alderson on October 23, 1939 and resided to the Inchelium area where they began their family.
In 1962, George and Mabel moved to Grand Coulee where they bought and operated a restaurant.
In 1998, they chose to live in Richland.
George was preceded in death by his loving wife Mabel in 2005.
He is survived by three children, Ramona Banning of Yakima, Marie Nichols (George) of Colville and George Jr. (Tina) of Richland.
He was a wonderful grandfather to Connie, Ed, Steve, Deanna, Joe, David, Tyler and Tiffany.
He took pride in his eleven great grandchildren.
At the Eagles Lodge, a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in Colville, Washington.
George will be laid to rest next to his wife Mabel in a private ceremony.
The family asks that contributions be made to the Spokane Shriners Hospital in lieu of flowers.
Joseph Thomas Christy
Born in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania on Oct. 2, 1917
Departed on Nov. 2, 2007 and resided in Spokane, WA.

Joseph Thomas Christy was born October 2, 1917 and died November 2, 2007, at the age of 90.
He was diagnosed with advanced Alzheimer's Disease in 2002.
His demise was due to an infection that quickly overcame his frail condition.
Joe was born in Philadelphia, PA to Joseph Thomas Christy, Sr and Carrie Fitzpatrick Christy.
He attended Pennsylvania State University on a track scholarship, and later transferred to Christian Brothers' College where he graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
He later continued his education at Chicago University.
He was recruited by the government during WWII to work on the Manhattan Project, working in Oakridge, Tennessee, Alamogordo, New Mexico, and Hanford, Washington.
He was employed by the AEC and later the DOE in Richland, WA., where he met his wife, Mary Virginia Hudgins, who was employed as an accounting supervisor by General Electric.
They had one child, Mary Kathleen, in 1957.
Joe retired from the DOE in 1972.
In addition to his "town job", Joe enjoyed agriculture.
He grew/marketed fruit on a farm outside of Prosser, WA and also on a farm along the Columbia River near Paterson, WA., where the family later moved in 1962.
He raised cherries, peaches and Concord grapes for several years.
He also raised sheep for a short period of time, and then angus cattle for a few years.
Joe was an avid reader, constantly scanning periodicals and magazines for the most current research on science, health, and agriculture.
Joe was also adept with most things mechanical and electronic.
There were few things he couldn't fix with a tool box, duct tape or bailing twine.
He tried his hand at making wine and sometimes made spaghetti. Joe and his family were members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Kennewick, but often attended church services at Our Lady of Angels in Hermiston, Oregon, due to proximity.
Joe is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mary, and his only sibling, Caroline.
He is survived by his only child, Mary Christy Hyatt, son-in-law, Denis, and three grandchildren, Joseph, Alaina and Roy Hyatt, all of Spokane.
James "Tom" Thomas Harden, Sr.
Born in Hope, Arkansas on Jul. 18, 1927
Departed on Nov. 3, 2007 and resided in Pasco, WA.
Tom was born in Hope, Arkansas to parents Walter and Lillie Harden.
He was raised with his sister Vivian, and brothers Murl and Bret.
At age 17, he joined the Navy 'to see the world.'
On May 3, 1946, he married
his loving wife, Lucille Harden.
They were married
56 years until her death February 12, 2003.
He was a distinguished and honored Military Veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy for 30 years.
He served several tours of duty in Vietnam, including one tour with his son James (Jim) Harden Jr.
He was frequently referred to as the right hand man to Admirals and Fleet Commanders.
He spent a number of years as an Instructor at the San Diego Naval Training Center.
His career took him and his family from Coast to Coast, though primarily stationed out of San Diego, California.
He and his wife, Lucille moved to Yakima, Washington in 1977 and then moved to Pasco, Washington in 1998.
Together, he and his wife served the community as Scout Masters and Den Leaders with such distinction that President John F. Kennedy presented him with a flag that flew over the White House.
He loved his family and pets.
He loved dancing, teaching, fishing, travel, Science Fiction, Westerns, and was an avid football fan.
He is survived by his daughter Vickie Lynn Helgeson and her husband Jerry of Grahm, WA.; son James 'Jim' Harden Jr. and his wife Deborah of Pasco, WA; grandchildren Lorrie Helgeson, Jodie LaCroix, Randy Larsen, and Virginia 'Ginger' Harden; and great-grandchildren Domnique 'Nikki' Larsen, Bryson LaCroix, and Courtney LaCroix, and brother Murl Harden
Tom has gone this day to be in the loving arms of God and dance with his wife Lucille and his dogs YoYo, Rompers, PeeWee, and Prissy.
There are no Memorial Services scheduled however the family will hold a private gathering in his honor.
