Kinyon, Lenora Tuesday, 04 Nov 2003
Lenora Maude Kinyon, 94, a resident of Port Orchard, died Nov. 4, 2003, at Willow Creek Adult Family Home.
She was born on Dec. 13, 1908, in Puyallup to Romolus B. and Mae R. (Russell) Hiner. She married Allan Everett Kinyon on June 1, 1930, in Reed Point, Mont. He preceded her in death in 1984.
She graduated from Reed Point High School in 1928. She was a seamstress and a homemaker.
She was a member of a craft and garden club.
She is survived by her sons Roscoe B. Kinyon and his wife Charlene of La Pine, Ore., Everett R. Kinyon of Port Orchard and Donald L. Kinyon and his wife Shirley of Sequim; daughters Lenora Mae Beal and her husband Alan of Bremerton and Carol J. Neis of Port Orchard; brother Clyde Hiner of Harlowton, Mont.; 24 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Westre and her daughter Alice Kinyon.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home and interment will be at Sunset Lane cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to Nazarene Missionary Group, 924 Sheridan, Bremerton, WA.

Kelly, Bertha Tuesday, 04 Nov 2003
Bertha “Thora” Kelly, 92, a resident of Bremerton, died Nov. 4, 2003, at Forest Ridge Rehab.
She was born in Charleston to Bert and Sara (Gudmundson) Gall on July 26, 1911.
She married KC. Kelly on July 2, 1936. He preceded her in death.
She graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1930.
She was a homemaker and a beautician.
She was involved with Pleasant Valley Garden Club, the PTA, she was a Cub Scout den mother, and she helped write a portion of the Kitsap County Historical Society Book. She was a Christian.
She is survived by her son Bert Kelly and his wife Helen of Port Orchard; grandchildren Greg Kelly and his wife Louise of Silverdale and Eric Kelly of Port Orchard; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother George Gall.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 15, at Rill Chapel’s Life Tribute Center.

Mygatt, Yvonne Monday, 03 Nov 2003
Yvonne E. Mygatt, 63, a Port Orchard resident, died Nov. 3, 2003. She was born on July 27, 1940 in Burkburnet, Texas to Lonnie and Helen (Crocker) Stonecipher. She married Robert A. Mygatt on July 7, 1961 in Everett.
She graduated from Everett High School in 1959 and was a homemaker.
She helped in 4-H organization for over 20 years, volunteered with the Extension Club, worked as the Eligibility Chairman for the Pee Wee Sports, she was a Master Gardener, was active in the Cancer Survivors Network, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Robert Mygatt of Port Orchard; son Michael Mygatt and wife Monica of Auburn; daughter Michelle Fredrickson and husband Jon of Port Orchard; brother Lonnie Stonecipher of Kettle Falls; sister Louise House of Moses Lake; and grandchildren Cameron Brown, Devin Mygatt and Nicole Mygatt.
She was preceded in death by her brother Roy Stonecipher and sister Maxine Burke.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm today -- Nov. 8, 2003 -- at Rill Chapel’s Life Tribute Center.

Otto, Clarabel Monday, 03 Nov 2003
Clarabel May Otto, 91, a resident of Bremerton, died Nov. 3, 2003, at Forest Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Dec. 28, 1911, in Portland, Ore. to Vernon S. and Mabel (Hallett) Jones. She married William E. Otto on June 15, 1930, in Bremerton.
He preceded her in death in 1978.
She graduated from Bremerton High School in 1930. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Westside Senior Club, she loved to play cribbage and fish. She was a Protestant.
She is survived by her daughter Betty Jane Force and husband Gale of Bremerton; son Ramon Otto of Bridgeport; grandchildren Jack D. Force, Jill A. Rockstrom, Bill Otto, Carig Otto, Cheri Holbrook; step-granddaughters Christine and Carrie; many great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Clarence and Robert Jones and her sister Rosamond Jones.
Graveside services were held at Forest Lawn cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Lewis Funeral Chapel.

Creech, Roger Saturday, 01 Nov 2003
Roger Marvin Creech, 63, died on Nov. 1, 2003, in Kirkland of mesothelioma caused by exposure to asbestos. He was born on Oct. 3, 1945, in Gary, Ind., to Bertha and Marvin Creech.
He graduated from Sequim High School and Western Washington University. He served in the Air Force and spent most of his teaching career at Juanita High School.
He is survived by his parents; wife Roberta; children Rebecca, Andrew, Peter Lorenz and Brian Lorenz; brothers David and his wife Linda, Calvin, Daniel, and Loren Creone and his wife Gina.
A celebration of his life will be held today, Nov. 8, at 2:30 p.m. at the Bellevue Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, 728 134th St. SW, Ste. 101, Everett, WA 98204-1140.

Eichorst, Colleen Friday, 31 Oct 2003
Colleen F. Eichorst, 75, a resident of Manchester, died Oct. 31.
She was born Sept. 27, 1928, in Oxford, Kan. to Robert and Genevieve (Lennon) Brown.
She married Alden Fosberg In Seattle. He preceded her in death in 1967.
She was a legal secretary in Seattle for 35 years, retiring in 1998.
She was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by her mother, who lives in Wichita, Kan.; her sons Robert Fosberg of Olalla, Michael Fosberg of Olalla, Brian Fosberg of Des Moines and Glen Fosberg of Port Orchard; her brother Robert Brown of Wichita, Kan.; also three grandchildren — Holly, Mark and Brittany Fosberg.
She was preceded in death by her sister Lorraine.
The funeral and interment was held yesterday at Holy Rood cemetery in Seattle. Arrangements were handled by Rill Chapel’s Life Tribute Center.

Neill, Susan Thursday, 30 Oct 2003
Susan Ann Neill, 52, a long-time resident of Olalla, died Oct. 30 in Seattle.
She was born Sept. 2, 1951, in Bremerton to Harold F. and Hazel J. (Vant) Danel.
She graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1969 and later attended Fashion Design School in Seattle and took photography classes at Olympic College in Bremerton.
She enjoyed gardening, quilting, cooking, baking, spending time with her grandkids, fishing, camping and being outdoors. She was also a 4-H mom.
She was a Christian.
She is survived by her parents, who live in Port Orchard; her son Krishten S. Neill of Port Orchard; her daughters Sarah J. Binns and her husband Chris of Seattle and Melissa A. Neill of Seattle; her sisters Kathleen M. Duffy and her husband Bill and Marsha R. Pfeiffer and her husband Steve; also seven grandchildren — Jacqueline, Jacob, Abigail, Amy, Audrey, Kristopher, Viktoria and April.
The funeral was held yesterday at Rill Chapel’s Life Tribute Center followed by interment at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements were handled by Rill Chapel’s Life Tribute Center.

Daly, Marilyn Thursday, 30 Oct 2003
Marilyn Ann Daly, 48, a Port Orchard resident, died Oct. 30.
She was born on Dec. 18, 1954, to Lonnie and Billye (Wright) Fulgham.
She married William Daly on Oct. 12, 1987, at Fire District 7 headquarters.
She graduated from Chula Vista High School in San Diego, Calif., in 1973.
She worked with Central Kitsap School District grounds and maintenance and then as a checker for Safeway.
She raised miniature horses, she enjoyed fishing, snow skiing, camping, gardening and was involved with Mountain Man Rendezvous.
She is survived by her husband William Daly; mother Billye Fulgham of Tacoma; son William Daly, II of New York, N.Y.; daughter Shannon Coleman and husband Grant of Tacoma; brothers Ken Fulgham and wife Virginia of San Diego, Mike Fulgham and wife Nilda of San Diego, and Barry Fulgham and wife Cindy of Grapeview; and granddaughter Emma Coleman.
A memorial was held at Port Orchard First Baptist Church.
Arrangements were handled by Rill Chapel’s Life Tribute Center.

Pastore, Rosemarie Wednesday, 29 Oct 2003
Rosemarie Pastore, 67, a resident of Port Orchard, died Oct. 29 in Port Orchard.
She was born June 22, 1936, in Camden N.J. to Michael and Mary (Murgida) Pastore.
She attended English High School and Lynn Hospital of Nursing, both in Lynn, Mass.
She worked as a registered nurse at St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif. for 22 years, retiring in 1984.
She moved to Port Orchard in 1992.
She loved cooking Italian food, fishing and playing bridge. She was a eucharistic minister for home-bound parishioners at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church.
She was a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Massachusetts and California.
The funeral is today (Nov. 5) at noon at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church.
A graveside service will be held in Lynn, Mass. in the spring. Arrangements were handled by Rill Chapel’s Life Tribute Center.
