Marjorie B. Haley
MIDDLETOWN SPRINGS - Marjorie B. Haley, 76, died Nov. 25, 2000, at Rutland Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
She was born Aug. 12, 1924, in Castleton, the daughter of Clarence and Marjorie (Cheney) Beayon.
She was educated in the Castleton school system.
She married
Francis Haley in 1943.
Mrs. Haley owned and operated the Bow Mills Antique Shop in Bow, N.H., for several years before moving to Vermont. She enjoyed collecting antiques for her store, gardening and growing flowers.
She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Middletown Springs.
Survivors include her husband of Middletown Springs; three daughters, Joan Pietrodangelo of Rutland, Marjorie Simms of St. Augustine, Fla., and Katherine Pelletier-Cole of Middletown Springs; two sons, John Haley of Wallingford and Peter Haley of Bow, N.H.; three sisters, Anna Hewitt of Deland, Fla., Eleanor Bushey of Fair Haven and Marlene Beayon of New Milford, Conn.; three brothers, Chester Beayon of Pennsylvania, Everett Beayon and Clarence Beayon, both of Castleton; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Tuesday, Nov. 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home, 266 Allen Ave., Poultney.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Middletown Springs with the Rev. Adam Krempa, parish priest, officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View cemetery.

Mary C. Bailey
BRATTLEBORO - Mary Catherine Bailey, 84, died Friday Nov. 24, 2000, at Thompson House.
Mrs. Bailey was born in North Walpole, N.H., on Dec. 19, 1915, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Ponek) Pencek.
She attended school in North Walpole and Bellows Falls. She was a graduate of Bellows Falls High School.
Mrs. Bailey worked as a nanny in Connecticut until she married
Gustave W. Bailey. She later worked at Vermont Academy in Saxtons River, Kurn Hattin Homes in Westminster and retired from the Book Press in Brattleboro. She was a former tax collector for the town of Saxtons River and in her later years she worked in child care.
She served as a senior companion and was a volunteer for many area organizations.
Mrs. Bailey was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Bellows Falls and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chester.
She is survived by a son, Arnold W. Bailey of Greenfield, Mass.; a sister, Helen Moody of Rockingham; two brothers, Frank Pencek of Chester and Steven Pencek of Rockingham, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband and by two brothers, Thomas and Charles Pencek.
There are no calling hours.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bellows Falls, with the Rev. Felix Reczec officiating. A reception will follow.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart cemetery.

Anita H. Marcotte
WINDSOR - Anita H. Marcotte, 80, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, N.H.
She was born April 4, 1920, in Danby, the daughter of Walter and Marion (Winship) Parmenter.
She received her education in Danby.
She married
Edward L. Marcotte in Rutland in 1936. They lived in Hartland and Windsor.
Mrs. Marcotte was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Windsor for 35 years until her retirement in 1982.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis Marcotte of Billerica, Mass., and Robert Marcotte; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband in 1977; by two sons, Stephen Marcotte and Allen Marcotte; a daughter, Diane Lee Emery; and three sisters, Kilda Robinson, Leda Livingston and Millie Mason.
Friends may call at Knight Funeral Home in Windsor on Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 1 to 2 p.m.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov. 29 at the funeral home at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Carter Adriance, pastor of Rachel S. Harlow United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in Hartland Village cemetery in Hartland.

Grace R. Beals
BELLOWS FALLS - Grace R. Beals, 93, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, at McGirr Nursing Home after suffering from Alzheimer's disease for 14 years.
She was born Aug. 19, 1907, in East Alstead, N.H., the daughter of John and Augusta (Birchill) Riordan.
She lived with an aunt from the age of 5 until she was 8.
She attended one year of high school and later enrolled in Maplewood Nursing School in Jamestown, R.I., where she was a member of the class of 1926. She moved to Bellows Falls in 1943 and joined the nursing staff at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
She married
Clyde I. Beals in 1950 and moved to North Westminster, where she worked as a teacher's aide at Gageville School for several years.
She is survived by a son, Robert G. Beals of North Westminster, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband in 1979; three sisters, Edna Riordan, Josephine Clark and Alice Nown; three brothers, William, Eugene and Benjamin Riordan.
Following her cremation, burial will be at Oak Hill cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Crusade.
Barbara W. Haviland
MANCHESTER CENTER - A funeral for Barbara W. Haviland, 71, who died Nov. 20, was held Saturday, Nov. 25, at Zion Episcopal Church with the Rev. John Mitchell, rector, officiating.
Organist was Phyllis Dickie.
Arrangements were under the direction of Brewster Funeral Service in Manchester Center.
Emily B. Keatsch
MANCHESTER CENTER - Emily B. Keatsch, 102, died at her home Nov. 24, 2000.
She was born and raised in Norristown, Pa., and resided in Upper Derby, Pa., until moving to Manchester Center.
She was a longtime member of the Ekwanok Country Club.
There are no calling hours.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 30, at 10 a.m. at Dellwood cemetery in Manchester, with the Rev. Elizabeth Fisher officiating.

Antoinette L. Haroutunian
WILMINGTON - Antoinette L. "Toni" Haroutunian, 85, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, at Centers for Living and Rehabilitation.
She was born April 7, 1915, in Biddeford, Maine, the daughter of Louis and Mary (Tetone) Santorsola.
She graduated from Biddeford High School.
She married
Harry Haroutunian and they settled in Everett, Mass.
After her husband's death, Mrs. Haroutunian moved to Wilmington. She was active in several groups, including the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. She was active in Wilmington Middle and High Schools, and Deerfield School. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church.
Mrs. Haroutunian enjoyed bowling, cooking and Big Band music.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Haroutunian of St. Petersburg, Fla., Thomas Haroutunian of Billerica, Mass.,. and Harry Haroutunian of Wilmington; six grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, with the Rev. Charles Wallen and the Rev. Joseph Tate officiating.
A private burial will take place in St. Mary's cemetery in Biddeford.

BENNINGTON - A funeral service for Janet M. Burdick, 69, who died Nov. 21, was held at Nov. 25 at Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home with the Rev. R.T. Campbell, pastor of the Centers for Living and Rehabilitation, officiating.
Willard J. Traynor
ATHENS, N.Y. - Willard J. Traynor, 74, died Nov. 24, 2000. He was the son of the Pauline (Baldwin) and Thomas Traynor.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Brooks) Traynor; a sister, Pauline Clifford of Rutland, Vt.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Allen T. Traynor.
There will be no public services. Arrangements for cremation were under the direction of Richards Funeral Home, 26 North Vernon St., Athens, 12015.
Paul H. Robertson
PIERMONT, N.H. - Paul H. Robertson, 95, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, at Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill, N.H.
He was born Sept. 16, 1905, in Danville, Vt., the son of John A. and Inez (Luce) Robertson.
He attended Danville schools and was a 1924 graduate of Phillips Academy, later known as Danville High School.
In 1937 he married
Sylvia Spencer in Woodsville.
Mr. Robertson worked at the family farm and was a self-employed logger since 1938. He operated heavy equipment and retired in 1937 as a civil engineer for the state of New Hampshire.
He was a member of Alpine Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star, in North Haverhill, a 50-year member and past master of Washburn Lodge in Danville, and a former Piermont selectman.
He is survived by his wife of Piermont; two daughters, Polly Marvin of Haverhill and Marian Dunn of Enfield; two sons, Neil Robertson of Campton and William J. Robertson of Lebanon; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Maurice Robertson.
There are no calling hours.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Southlawn cemetery in Piermont.
