Laurice Chehade Rites
MANCHESTER CENTER — The funeral Mass for Laurice Chehade was celebrated Wednesday at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church in Manchester with the Rev. Michael DeMasi officiating.
Organist and cantor was Steven Kloser.
A reception for family and friends was held at the home of Mrs. Chehade’s daughter Grace in Manchester.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Mahar & Son Funeral Home.
Margaret Wright
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Margaret Geis Wright, 87, a former resident of Longboat Key and summer resident of Lake Dunmore, Vt., died May 27, 2003.
She was born July 17, 1915, in Salina, Kan.
She graduated from Mary Mount College in Salina.
Mrs. Wright was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Longboat Key, Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and Al-Anon.
Survivors include a daughter, Mari Wright of St. Petersburg; a son, John Wright of Harleysville, Pa.; a sister, Helen Westland of Pebble Beach, Calif.; a brother, Robert Geis of Denver, Colo.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Foundation for Children and Aging (CFCA), 1 Elmwood Ave., Kansas City, Kan., 66103.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Toale Brothers Funeral Home in Sarasota.

FAIR HAVEN — A Mass of Christian burial was conducted for Mrs. Ellen Mae Bruce, 76, who died May 27, 2003, on Friday at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Fair Haven.
The Rev. Richard W. Tinney, parish priest, officiated. Burial followed in St. Mary’s cemetery.
Bearers were Charles Martin, Robert Mestyan, Patrick Frazier, Nick Baron, Mike Downey, and Mike Quatacker.

LEICESTER — Daniel Dominick Bugnacki, 61, died May 31, 2003, at his home.

SPRINGFIELD — A graveside funeral service for Alexander N. Levlock, 88, who died May 28, 2003, was held Saturday in the Oakland cemetery in Springfield. The Rev. Peter Carmichael, pastor of the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, officiated.
Military honors were bestowed by the Robert L. Johnson Post 771 VFW of Springfield.

SPRINGFIELD — A graveside service for Leo M. Poirier, 78, who died Feb. 18, 2003, was held Saturday in St. Mary’s cemetery.
Military honors were bestowed by the Robert L. Johnson Post 771 VFW of Springfield.

FAIR HAVEN — Harry Leroy Waterhouse, 88, died May 31, 2003, at Rutland Regional Medical Center after a long illness.

FAIR HAVEN — Harry Leroy Waterhouse, 88, died May 31, 2003, at Rutland Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
He was born Sept. 26, 1914, in West Haven, the son of Frank and Isola (Reed) Waterhouse.
He lived in Fair Haven all of his life and worked for the town of Fair Haven in various capacities.
For many years, he was the sexton at Cedar Grove cemetery.
He was a lifelong communicant of Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Fair Haven.
He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. He was well known for animal trapping.
Mr. Waterhouse is survived by two sons, David Waterhouse of Rutland and Stephen Waterhouse of Fair Haven; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise (Piontek) Waterhouse, who died in 1995; three sisters, Lou Reed, Lillian Reed, and Margaret Mingo; and three brothers, Owen Waterhouse, James Waterhouse and Lindsey Waterhouse.
A funeral Mass will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church in Fair Haven. The Rev. Richard W. Tinney, parish priest, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s cemetery in Fair Haven.
There will be no visiting hours.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Fair Haven Rescue Squad, 17 Prospect St., Fair Haven, 05743, or to a favorite charity.

Bessie Eudora Griffin, 77, of Rutland died June 1, 2003, at Rutland Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

WEST RUTLAND — Funeral services for Stanley B. Kulig, 76, of West Rutland, who died May 29, 2003, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church in West Rutland. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus cemetery.

The funeral service for Lydia J. Lafontaine, 82, of Rutland, who died May 29, 2003, was held Saturday at St. Peter’s Church in Rutland. The Rev. William Chant officiated. Burial followed in Calvary cemetery with the Rev. Chant reading the prayers of the burial service.
Elise Cassarino was vocalist. John Riddle was organist.
Bearers were Karen Carboneau, Kimberly Carboneau, Amy Carboneau, Sara Brown, Ryan Carboneau and Justin Carboneau.
The Clifford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Claude Wetherby Rites
The funeral service for Claude B. Wetherby, 85, of Rutland, who died May 27, 2003, was held Saturday at the Aldous Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas Mattison, assistant pastor at Christ the King Church, officiated. Burial followed in East Clarendon cemetery.
Bearers were Richard Sanborn, Michael Watson, Chris Haley, Evan Haley, Brooke Haley and Michael Hughes.
American Legion Post 31color guard provided military honors. James Burke presented the flag to the family.
The Aldous Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
Ruth H. Creed Rites
The funeral service for Ruth H. Creed, 93, who died May 28, 2003, was held Saturday at the Church of the Wildwood in Chittenden. The Rev. Shirley Oskamp-Colletti, pastor, officiated. Burial followed in Horton cemetery in Chittenden.
Organist was Laurie King.
Bearers were Robert McClallen, E. Gregory McClallen, Gregory McClallen, Glenn Seward, Douglas Seward and Henry Seward.

Shirley and Ronald Brown Rites
MIDDLETOWN SPRINGS — The funeral service for Shirley E. Brown, 85, who died May 28, 2003, and her husband, Ronald W. Brown, 78, who died Jan. 3, 2003, was held Saturday at the Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home in Poultney with the Rev. Roland Mitchenson, pastor of the Community Church of Middletown Springs, officiating.
The Roberts-Aubin Funeral Home in Poultney was in charge of arrangements.
Lucy G. Powell
BETHEL — A graveside service for Lucy G. Powell, 79, who died Dec. 30, 2002, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Pittsfield cemetery in Pittsfield.
The Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock is in charge of arrangements.
Mary E. Zullo
NORTH BENNINGTON — Mary E. Zullo, 82, died May 31, 2003, at Bennington Health and Rehab following a brief illness.
She was born in Danby March 4, 1921.
She married
Anthony J. Zullo Jan. 3, 1939 in Manchester. He died in 1979.
Survivors include a daughter, Pat Olney of Bennington; a son, John Zullo of Clayton, N.C., a sister; three brothers; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Scottsville cemetery in Danby.
There will be no calling hours.
