Henry D. Iannetti
Henry D. Iannetti, 80, died April 4, 2003, in Rutland.
He was born in Rutland May 2, 1922, the son of Charles A. and Romilda (Delleveneri) Iannetti.
He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, serving in the military for 22 years.
He worked as a local bartender for many years.
Mr. Iannetti was a member of Rutland American Legion Post 31 and the Rutland Elks Lodge.
Survivors include three sisters, Clotilda Accorsi of North Clarendon, Helen Howard of Scotia, N.Y., and Emily Mercoglan of Schenectady, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five brothers, Richard Iannetti, Americo Iannetti, Edward Iannetti, Alfred Iannetti and Italo Iannetti.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Clifford Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Henry Iannetti Memorial Fund, designed for families of Rutland area National Guard members who are serving in the war in Iraq.
Antoinette Bellomo
Antoinette Bellomo, 87, died April 6, 2003, at St. Joseph Residence in Rutland.
She was the widow of Joseph Bellomo, who died in 1973.
The Clifford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Gordon S. Patterson
Gordon S. Patterson, 75, of Rutland died April 4, 2003, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 3, 1927, in Proctor, the son of A. Tuttle and Phyllis (Davidson) Patterson.
He was married
to Marie Harrison on June 10, 1950, at Christ the King Church by Msgr. John M. Kennedy.
Mr. Patterson worked as a public accountant with his father for five years and later became office manager for Stewart A. Smith Corp. and his various companies, retiring in 1992.
He was a member of Christ the King Church, American Legion Post 31 of Rutland, the Rutland Order of Elks and the Eagles Club of Rutland. He was a charter member of the Vermont Association of Registered Public Accountants.
Survivors include his wife of Rutland; a daughter, Carol Patterson Schwenk of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two sons, Thomas Patterson of Hancock and Marc Patterson of Granville; a brother, Peter Patterson of Rutland; a sister, Patricia Richardson of Hampton, N.H.; and three grandchildren.
He was predeceased by an infant daughter; and a brother, Peers Patterson.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Church with the Rev. Thomas Mattison, assistant pastor, officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Dominic’s cemetery in Proctor.
There will be no calling hours.

Reginald C. Wilson
TAVARES, Fla. — Reginald C. Wilson Jr., 68, a former resident of North Clarendon, Vt., died April 5, 2003, in Tavares, following a brief illness.
He was born Aug. 24, 1934, in Rutland, the son of Reginald C. and Lahja (Munukka) Wilson Sr. He graduated from Rutland High School in 1952.
He was president of Wilson Moving and Storage, a family-owned business, for 50 years, and Central Vermont Moving.
He was a member of the Central Christian Church, serving as a deacon, and the Vermont Truck and Bus Association, where he served as a director for 25 years. He was a member of the Rutland Regional Chamber of Commerce, where he was chairman of the Airport Committee for more than 15 years. He was also a founding member of the Rutland Area Vehicle Enthusiasts car club, and the last charter member and past president of the Rutland South Rotary Club. As a Rotary member, he was editor of the Bulletin, had perfect attendance for 23 years and received the first Paul Harris Fellowship. He was a former member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 345 in Rutland and was a member of the Eustis (Fla.) Elks Club.
Mr. Wilson loved caring for his automobiles, especially his 1956 Mercury. He enjoyed traveling and motorcycles, and was an avid photographer.
Survivors include two daughters, Kelli Young of Wallingford and Kimberly Sills of Portland, Ore.; a son, Keith Wilson of Otego, N.Y.; three sisters, Judy Webster, Linnea Colburn and Rebecca Wilson of the Rutland area; six grandchildren; six nieces; a nephew; and his companion, Lorrie Parsons.
The funeral service is pending for Friday at the Aldous Funeral Home.

Pearl L. Kissell
WESTMINSTER — Pearl L. Kissell, 87, died April 5, 2003, in Keene, N.H., at the Genesis Elder Care Nursing Home. She had been a resident of Westminster since 1938.
She was born in Chester Dec. 10, 1915, the daughter of Walter and Martha (Fish) Thomas. She was a 1934 graduate of Nashua (N.H.) High School.
Mrs. Kissell was a registered nurse. She was a graduate of Rockingham Memorial Hospital in 1938 and a postgraduate of Simmons College in 1951.
She was a private duty and hospital nurse for 13 years, spent 12 years as a visiting nurse for the Rockingham area, and for three years worked as a part-time school nurse for the town of Westminster.
Mrs. Kissell was a former member of the Vermont Nurses Association, of the Bellows Falls Pierce Lawton American Legion Auxiliary and of the Rockingham Senior Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean A. Kissell and Joan M. Campney; two grandsons; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank F. Kissell in 1985; four brothers, Marselis Thomas, Arthur Thomas, Ernest Thomas, and Theodore Thomas; and three sisters, Flossie Prouty, Fern Gonyea and Florence Henderson.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Felix Reczek on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Bellows Falls.
There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Rockingham Senior Center, Bellows Falls, or to a favorite charity.

Georgette E. Spear
WOODSTOCK — Georgette E. Spear, 74, died April 5, 2003, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
She was born Jan. 20, 1929, in Wilmington, Mass., daughter of George M. and Edith (Cross) Stanwood.
She graduated from Norwood (Mass.) High School. In 1950 she moved to Vermont and worked at the Idlenot Dairy Farm, P & C Foods and for the Homestead. She also worked for a number of local families providing home health care services.
She was a member of the Order of Rainbow Girls in Norwood, Mass., and the VFW Auxiliary of Amherst, Mass. She was a member and first vice president of the American Legion Post of Stewartsville, N.J., and was very active in Cub Scouts and Little League in New Jersey with her children.
She is survived by three sons, Richard W. Spear of Taftsville, George S. Spear of Woodstock, and Sherman A. Spear of Hopedale, Mass.; and six grandchildren.
The funeral service and burial will be private at Riverside cemetery in Woodstock at a later date.

Brooks Infant Rites
SPRINGFIELD — The funeral service of Tacoma Chandler Brooks, who died March 30, 2003, was held Saturday at the Adams & Kenney Funeral Homes in Chester with the Rev. Thomas Charlton officiating. A reception followed at the home of grandparents Peter and Debbie Brooks Sr. in Springfield.
Tacoma Brooks was the infant son of Peter Brooks Jr. and Desaraye Gorey.
Antoinette Bellomo
Antoinette Bellomo, 87, of Rutland died April 6, 2003, at St. Joseph’s Residence in Rutland.
She was born Oct. 7, 1915, in Randazzo, Italy, the daughter of Anthony and Catherine (Lanza) Bellomo.
She was the owner and operator of Bellomo’s Market in Rutland for 62 years, retiring years ago. She was well known for her sausage-making skills.
Mrs. Bellomo was a member of St. Peter’s Church, the Sodality of the Most Holy Rosary, the Catholic Daughters of America, and a former member of Anita Garibaldi Lodge.
Survivors include three sons, Salvatore Bellomo, Joseph Bellomo and Anthony Bellomo, all of Rutland; three daughters, Mary Sullivan of Andover, Mass., Elvira Washburn of Herndon, Va., and Charlene Boylan of Woodstock, Ga.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephew and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Bellomo, in 1973; three daughters; two sons; two brothers, Anthony Bellomo and Carmelo Bellomo; and two sisters, Josephine Cunsolo and Concetta Maugeri.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church in Rutland. A private burial will follow in Calvary cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland. Members of the Catholic Daughters of American will offer a prayer service at 5 p.m.

Lesly Lazur
Lesly Lazur, 52, of Rutland died April 6, 2003, at her home.
She was born July 7, 1950, in Rutland, the daughter of Leslie and Geraldine (Weinle) Carpenter.
She graduated from Mount St. Joseph Academy in 1969 and the College of St. Joseph.
She worked at Vermont Psychiatric Survivors as an administrative assistant.
She attended Christ the King Church.
Survivors include a son, Greggory Jones of Rutland; her fiancé, Phil Pratico of Rutland; a brother, Greg Carpenter of San Diego; two half brothers, Gerald Lloyd of Rutland and Edward Lloyd of Ridgewood, N.J.; two half sisters, Mary Short of Beverly Hills, Fla., and Margaret Ramson of the state of Georgia.
The memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Christ the King Church.
There will be no calling hours.

Ronald W. Colomb
COCOA, Fla. — Ronald William Colomb, 69, a former longtime resident of Rutland, Vt., died April 6, 2003, at his home.
Funeral services are pending for Saturday at St. Peter’s Church in Rutland.
Elizabeth A. Brough
CASTLETON — Elizabeth Ann Brough, 68, of Castleton, Vermont, died peacefully at her home on Sunday, April 6, 2003.
“Betty Ann,” as she was called, was born in Castleton, Vermont, on April 19, 1934, the daughter of Charles Edward and Harriet (McCarthy) Brough. She attended Castleton elementary schools and was a graduate of West Rutland High School. She furthered her education and graduated from the Heaton Hospital School of Nursing in Montpelier, Vermont, in 1955. Betty Ann then began a long nursing career at the Rutland Regional Medical Center, retiring in 1987 as the Assistant Director of Nursing.
Betty Ann was a Communicant of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Castleton.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and also by a special friend, Diana Matthews; several sisters-in-law, Dorothy Burke Brough, Eileen Thayer Brough, Margaret O’Day Brough, Mary Durham Brough, Beatrice Hughes Brough; a brother-in-law, Edward J. McMorrow.
She was predeceased by her two sisters, Veronica Brough O’Neill, Mary Jane Brough McMorrow; her five brothers, Charles M. Brough, John F. Brough, Paul F. Brough, Ralph E. Brough and James P. Brough.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 10, 2003, at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Castleton. The Rev. Charles R. Danielson, Administrator, will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in the Hillside cemetery in Castleton.
Visiting Hours will be on Wednesday evening, April 9, 2003, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Durfee Funeral Home, 119 No. Main St., Fair Haven.
