Lucille W. Webster
RANDOLPH - Lucille W. Webster, 84, died July 25, 2000, at Gifford Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 9, 1915, in Rochester, daughter of Fred and Louella (Cole) Warner.
She attended schools in Randolph and graduated from Randolph High School. She graduated from Lyndon State College in Lyndonville in 1934.
She married Paul A. Webster in Randolph on Feb. 17, 1935.
Mrs. Webster worked on the family farm and was the bookkeeper for Webster Farm Machinery, which was owned and operated by Mrs. Webster and her husband.
She was a member of Bethany Congregational Church and past member of the West Randolph Grange.
Her hobbies included sewing and she loved animals.
Survivors include her husband of Randolph; a daughter, Phyllis W. Roberts of Randolph; three sons, Neil W. Webster of Grand Rapids, Mich., Philip A. Webster of Essex Junction and Duane Webster of Randolph; a brother, Keith Warner of Braintree; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph by the Rev. Kathy Eddy. Burial will follow at the South View Cemetery in Randolph.
There will be no calling hours.

Aaron Venooker
POWNAL - Aaron Venooker, 72, of Pownal, formerly of Bennington, died July 25, 2000, at Albany Medical Center in New York after a long illness.
He was born Nov. 14, 1927, in Dorchester, Mass., son of Morris and Millie (Guss) Venooker.
He graduated from Grady Roxbury Memorial High School in Massachusetts.
He married Elizabeth D. Pickett in 1946.
Mr. Venooker had worked at various jobs throughout his life and had owned race horses in the 1950s. He also worked for Herb Lewis at the former Green Mountain Park.
Mr. Venooker enlisted in the Navy in 1944, and upon his honorable discharge in 1946 was awarded the WWII Victory Medal, American Theater Medal and Asiatic Pacific Medal.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 90 of Pownal.
His hobbies included horse and dog racing.
Survivors include his companion, Laura Messina of Pownal; two sons, Alan Venooker of Ithaca, N.Y., and Jack Venooker of Stowe; a daughter, Nancy Clermont of Bennington; a brother, Israel Venooker of Revere, Mass.; a sister, Jeanette Swalnick of Revere; many grandchildren; a great-grandson; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Venooker was predeceased by his wife, who died in 1987; a brother, Jack Venooker; and two sisters, Edith Serlin and Marion Engel.
A service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rabbi Howard A. Cohen of Bennington Congregation Beth El officiating. Interment will follow in the Bennington Hebrew Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home.

Members of the American Legion Post 90 are asked to meet at the funeral home Wednesday at 7:15 p.m.
Minnie C. Pollica
BRATTLEBORO - Minnie C. Pollica, 77, died July 24, 2000, at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 24, 1922, at home, daughter of Paul and Olga (Carlson) Ericson.
She attended Brattleboro schools and graduate from Brattleboro High School in 1941.
She married George E. Pollica at the House of Flowers on July 6, 1942.
She was a sales clerk for F.W. Woolworths in Brattleboro for several years.
Mrs. Pollica was a member of the Swedish Lutheran Church.
Her hobbies included summering on Holland Pond in Holland, knitting, crossword puzzles, birds and cooking.
Survivors include her husband of Brattleboro; a son, Christopher Pollica of Vernon; a sister, Edith Ives of Brattleboro; a granddaughter of Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Morningside Cemetery by the Rev. Peter K. Hanson, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church.
There are no calling hours.

Marion E. Riendeau
BELLOWS FALLS - Marion E. (Stratton) Riendeau, 90, of Saxtons River, died July 21, 2000, at the McGirr Nursing Home.
She was born Dec. 9, 1910, in Hinsdale, N.H., daughter of George and Edna (Anderson) Stratton.
She married Nelson Riendeau in June 1929.
Survivors include two daughters, Joan McCoy of Hartville, Mo., and Marilyn Trevarrow of Lady Smith, Wis.; three sisters, Pricilla LaMaroux of Keene, N.H., and Eleanor Ware and Shirley Scryba of Greenfield, Mass.; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Riendeau was predeceased by her husband, who died in 1995; and a son, Robert.
A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Saxtons River Cemetery.
Leroy D. Ranney
CAVENDISH - Leroy D. Ranney, 66, died July 18, 2000, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., after a long illness.
He was born Dec. 9, 1933, in Fair Haven, son of Nathan and Lucy Ranney.
He attended schools in Fair Haven.
He married June Pelkey in Plymouth on June 25, 1955
Mr. Ranney worked for the Kenwood Mills for several years and for the town of Cavendish in the water and sewer departments and the cemetery department. He later worked for the General Electric Co. as a toolmaker in both Ludlow and Rutland, retiring in 1994.
Mr. Ranney served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of the Cavendish Baptist Church and served as a deacon, trustee and custodian.
Survivors include his wife of Cavendish; two sons, Scott E. Ranney of Cavendish and Keith E. Ranney of Proctorsville; three brothers, Gordon Ranney of Proctorsville, Wayne Ranney of Payson, Ariz., and Irving Ranney of Rutland; a sister, Ramona Turner of Rutland; a grandson and great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Cavendish Baptist Church by the Rev. Jane Buswell, pastor of the Tyson Community Church. Burial will follow in the Cavendish Village Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Davis Memorial Chapel, 99 Summer St., Springfield.

Claire M. Kingsbury rites
SPRINGFIELD - A funeral Mass for Claire M. Kingsbury, of Springfield, who died July 23, 2000, at Springfield Hospital, was held Tuesday at St. Mary's Church by the Rev. James M. Shea, pastor. Burial will take place in the Centennial Cemetery in Gilsum, N.H., at a later date.
Organist was Yvonne Brassington. Hymns were sung by the Rejoice Choir. Reader was Eugene Nickerson.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Davis Memorial Chapel.
George B. Crisp rites
BENNINGTON - The burial for George B. Crisp, 75, of Bennington, who died July 21, 2000, was held Tuesday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Bennington by the Rev. Arthur Kingdon and the Rev. Penny Hawkins, deacon. Interment followed in South Village Cemetery in East Dorset.
Organist was Alan Walker. Remembrances were read by the Rev. Penny Hawkins.
Pallbearers were Richard Bower, Wynn Metcalfe, Andrew Wilkinson and Richard Farrara.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home in Bennington.
Claribel L. Bromley
BRISTOL - Claribel Louina Bromley, 77, died July 24, 2000, at her home.
She was born April 15, 1923, in Bristol, daughter of Thaddeus and Sadie (Lee) Lathrop.
She graduated from Bristol High School in 1940.
On Nov. 2, 1942, she married Lyle Bromley.
Mrs. Bromley's hobbies included playing cards.
Survivors include seven children; Linda Poynter, Michael Bromley, and James Bromley of Bristol, Elaine Mayer of Altamonte Springs, Fla., Charles Bromley of Longwood, Fla., Lois Butterfield of Swanton, and Penny Lapine of Claremont, N.H.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Earl Lathrop of Bristol; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bromley was predeceased by her husband of Bristol, and a sister, Helena Peck.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bert J. Drozd
Bert J. Drozd, 80, of Rutland died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at his home.
He was born June 4, 1920, in West Rutland, son of Anthony and Mary (Sutowski) Drozd.
Mr. Drozd was married to Grace LaPlaca on Nov. 30, 1946. She died in 1999.
He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, serving in the European Theater of Operations.
He was a member of American Legion Post 31 in Rutland and Christ the King Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Bernice Webster of Rutland and Adaline Pardus of Virginia Beach, Va.; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Church in Rutland. Burial will follow in St. Bridget's Cemetery in West Rutland.
There are no calling hours.

Terrance L. Colford
BOMOSEEN - Terrance Leroy Colford, 48, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at his home after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born April 30, 1952, in Adams, Mass., son of Leroy and Jean (Scott) Colford.
He attended school in Readsboro and later earned his GED certificate.
Mr. Colford was employed as a tractor-trailer driver for several years, most recently for the Land Air Express Trucking Co. at its Windsor terminal. He retired due to his illness.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include a daughter, Heidi Bidgood of Rutland; a son, Shane Colford of Rutland; a sister, Kelly Layton of Bomoseen; a brother, Mark Colford of Jacksonville; five grandsons; several nieces and nephews; and four great-nephews.
He was predeceased by his father; his mother, who died Sept. 2, 2000; and his wife, Glenda (Allen) Colford, who died in 1987.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Renewed Life in Jesus Church in Chester by Pastor Rick Blaisdell. Burial will follow in Ascutneyville Cemetery in Weathersfield.
Calling hours will be held today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Durfee Funeral Home, 119 N. Main St., Fair Haven.
