OLIVE J. CASAVANT
RICHFORD -- Olive J. Casavant, age 98, died Monday, May 21, 2001, at Verdelle Village ECF in St. Albans.
She was born Aug. 28, 1902 in East Enosburg, the daughter of the late Peter & Abbie (Domina) Donna.
She was a resident of Richford most of her life and made her home in Enosburg since 1993. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, the Ladies of St. Anne and the Catholic Golden Age.
She is survived by three sons, Harlan Mayhew and his friend Arlene of Rutland, Gordon Mayhew and his wife Anita, and Carmen Mayhew and his friend Elaine, all of Richford; one daughter and her husband, Delma & Leon Guyette of Longwood, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Isreal Mayhew in 1953, and her second husband, Perley Casavant in 1977; two brothers, Wallace & Clarence Donna; three sisters, Flora Chailfoux, Elsie Mayhew & Pearl Myott; three half-brothers, Emmett, Marshall & Ray Myott.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m.at All Saints Catholic Church in Richford with Rev. Frank Eksterowicz officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call on the family Thursday afternoon from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the Spears Funeral Home on 140 Main St. in Richford.

KENNETH CASEY
GLENWOOD, FLA. -- Kenneth Casey, 77, of Ridgewood Street, Glenwood, Fla., passed away May 22, 2001, at the Florida Hospital DeLand. Born in Burlington, Vt. March 4, 1924, he was the son of Arthur Casey and Edna Caderect. He was educated at Swanton High School and served 33 months in the U.S. Army in WWII as a Signal Corp Officer. He returned to Swanton and opened a cattle auction and for 25 years was a well-known Cattle Dealer throughout New England. In 1949 he married Irene Rocheleau who survives him. In 1974 they moved to DeLand, Fla. and opened an antique shop. He was a 3rd degree Honorary Member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Albans, Vt. Council, a participant of St. Peter's Catholic Church in DeLand, Fla. and St. Anne's Shrine in Isle La Motte, Vt.
He is survived by a sister, Catherine and her husband Jerome Bushey of Sharon, Conn., a brother, Mark Casey and his wife Edna of Glenwood, Fla.; two brothers-in-law, Roland Rocheleau and his wife Marie of DeLand, Fla., and Andre Rocheleau and his wife Stella of Bonita Springs, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Yvonne Fradet of DeLand, Fla. and Janet Forsyth and her husband Thomas of Swanton, Vt. Also 21 nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, Paul Casey and his wife Theresa, and a brother-in-law, Victor H. Fradet.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass celebrating his life will be at St. Peter's Catholic Church in DeLand at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2001. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Swanton, Vt. at the convenience of the family. Lankford Funeral Home is in charge.
FRANCES RUTH (FIETZ) LINDKAMP
FAIRFAX -- Frances Ruth (Fietz) Lindkamp, age 91, passed away Monday, May 21, 2001, at Holiday House Nursing Home in St. Albans after a short illness. She was born Jan. 26, 1910 in Peterboro, N.Y., daughter of the late Adolph and Anna (Roth) Fietz. She was a graduate of Munnsville High School Class of 1928. She was committed to becoming a nurse with over forty years of dedication to her profession, graduating from the Broad Street School of Nursing in Oneida, N.Y. in March of 1932 and retiring from the Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, N.Y. in August of 1972. She had been living in Fairfax with her daughter and care giver, Nancy, since 1989. Frances will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Orcutt and her husband Bill of Fairfax; three grandchildren, William P. Orcutt and his wife Debbie of So. Burlington, Joanna L. Sartwell and her husband Donnie of Georgia, Vt., Tricia N. Langlois and her husband John of Quinebaug, Conn.; four great grandchildren, Sonya and Jordan Orcutt, Emily and Sarah Langlois, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband Paul A. Lindkamp on Dec. 7, 1970; three brothers and four sisters.
The family wishes to sincerely thank all of the caregivers who helped over the years with Frances' excellent and loving care.
At Frances' request there will be no visiting hours or funeral service.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in the family lot in Stockbridge Cemetery, Stockbridge, N.Y.
Memorial contributions may be made in Frances' memory to Franklin County Home Health Agency, 3 Home Health Circle, St. Albans, VT 05478. Arrangements are by Hayes-Rich Funeral Home, 1176 Main St., Fairfax.
PHYLLIS BLANCHE WINN
MIDDLEBURY -- Phyllis Blanche Winn, age 92, passed away at the Holiday House in St. Albans, Vt. on May 21, 2001.
She was born on Aug. 9, 1908 in Middlebury, a daughter of Jerry and Eva (Ellsworth) DeGray. She grew up in Middlebury and was a graduate of Middlebury High School. She attended nurses training in Hackensack General Hospital in New Jersey. She was married to Howard Winn. He predeceased her in 1965.
She is survived by her son, Edmund Winn and his wife Jeannine of St. Albans, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2001, at 1:30 p.m. at Sanderson Funeral Chapel, 117 South Main St., Middlebury, Vt. Officiant will be Rev. John McDermott, Pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment and committal services will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Middlebury. Public calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.

GLADYS P. CAMPBELL
GEORGIA -- Gladys P. Campbell, 78, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 20, 2001 at Northwestern medical Center two days before her birthday. She was born in Georgia May 22, 1922 the daughter of the late Charles Byron Hurlburt and May (Ingalls) Hurlburt.
Gladys operated a community care home at her residence on the Polly Hubbard Road in Georgia. She had also worked at a nursing home in Hinesburg, Economo Heinsburg Cheese Plant, and as a homemaker. She was a member of Franklin county Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a daughter, two sons, and their friends; Mary M. Campbell and Harvey Odum of Georgia, Richard R. Campbell and Darlene Sera of Georgia, and Michael Campbell and Ann of Richmond. She also leaves sixteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Charles Byron Hurlburt in 1957, her mother, May Pearl (Ingalls) Hurlburt in May of 1975, her husband, Richard N. Campbell on March 19, 2000, her son, Rodney Kennison on May 8, 2000 and son Clifford Kennison on February 19, 1982.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Heald Funeral Chapel. Pastor Bruce Patterson will officiate. Interment will be in the family lot in Riverside Cemetery in Swanton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Franklin County Home Health Agency, 3 Home Health Circle, St. Albans, VT 05478. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements are by the Heald Funeral Home, 87 So. Main St., St. Albans.
JASON C. POWERS
ST. ALBANS -- Jason C. Powers, age 24, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 17, 2001 in St. Albans. He was born July 31, 1976, son of Charles and Marion (Gabree) Powers. He attended St. Albans City Elementary and BFA High School and was involved in Little League Baseball and Soccer. He enjoyed outside activities, hunting, basketball and was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Marion Powers; two brothers, Charles Powers and his companion Kristina Moore of St. Albans, and Randy Powers and his wife Beth of Sheldon; two sisters, Sandi Bero and her husband Robert of Texas, and Candi Helms and her husband Kevin of St. Albans, nine nieces and nephews, Christopher and Penny Powers, Rene St. Francis, Nicholas and Brad Bero, Brittnie, Shawn and Jori Helms, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Walter Alfred Powers, and a sister, Penny Jean Powers. Jason was loved very much by his family and will be missed more than words can say.
Private funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. Father Maurice Roy, Pastor of Holy Angels Church, officiated. Bearers were his brothers, Randy Powers and Charles Powers, Jr., nephew Christopher St. Francis, cousin Ricky Gabree, brother-in-law Kevin Helms, and friend Jeff Plattner. Jason's niece, Penny read two poems in tribute to her uncle. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, 31 Elm St., Springfield, MA 01103. Arrangements are entrusted to Brady & Levesque Funeral Home.
MARJORIE B. REMILLARD
ST. ALBANS TOWN -- Marjorie B. Remillard, 82, a lifelong resident of this area, passed away Monday morning, May 21, 2001 at Northwestern Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born October 26, 1918 in St. Albans, the daughter of the late Oscar and Florence (Conger) Unwin. She was the widow of Joseph Remillard who died January 20, 1982.
Marjorie was employed in production at UCCP (Now Eveready Battery) in St. Albans for 22 years. She was a graduate of Bellows Free Academy. She loved her family and her camp on Maquam Shore.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley A. Ryan and Laurine M. and her husband, Dan Renaudette of St. Albans, two brothers, William and his wife, Diane Unwin of York, PA, and Robert Unwin of St. Albans, two sisters, Leona Phelps of St. Albans and Shirley and her husband, Normand Benoit of Daytona Beach, FL. She also leaves four grandchildren, Laurie Freer, Cheri LaPoint, Tammy Hurley and Gerald Ryan, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
At her request, services will be private and at the convenience of her family with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in St. Albans. Arrangements are by the Heald Funeral Home, 87 So. Main St., St. Albans.
ELDON CARL BARROWS
MILTON -- Eldon Carl Barrows, 76, died unexpectedly Sunday May 20, 2001 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.
Eldon was born on April 21, 1925 in Milton, the son of Floyd and Isabel (Goodwin) Barrows. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Barrows was married to the former Ruth Thompson on Oct. 1, 1946 in Starksboro. He and Ruth were inseparable through thick or thin for over 54 years.
Eldon had retired as a tool maker from General Electric in 1985, where he worked for over 33 years.
Eldon loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He also loved antiquing and going to auctions. He had served the town of Milton in many capacities through the years, as a member of the Select Board, as Chairman of the Select Board, and as interim Town Manager.
In addition to his wife Ruth, he is survived by his daughter, Sandy Grant and her husband Gil of Milton and his grandchildren Chris, Casey and his wife Penny, Jeremy and his great grandson Jayden, by his daughter Faye Richards and her husband Gary of Georgia, and his grandson Scott and wife Stephanie, by his son Randy Barrows and his wife Diane of Milton and their daughter Crystal and son Trevor, by his daughter Kay Walker and her husband Robert of Milton, and their sons Robert and Ben, by his son Dwight Barrows and his fianceé Carol Alexander of Milton, by his stepmother Alberta Barrows, his brothers Benjamin and his wife Eleanor, Robert and his wife Ruth and his sister Paula Wilcox and her husband Larry, by his brothers-in-laws William McDonald, Donald Hathaway, and Howard Dewyer, his sisters-in-law Ila Barrows, Rita Rock, Aggie Barrows, and Norma Riley and her husband Burton, Phyllis Thompson, and brother-in-law Allen Thompson and his wife Betty and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers Wayne, James, Keith, and Donald and by his sisters Nancy, Mildred and Janice.
He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday May 22, 2001, at 10 a.m. in the Minor Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Milton Village Cemetery. Memorials in Eldon's memory may be made to the Visiting Nurse Assoc., Home Care Program, 1110 Prim Road, Colchester 05446. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Minor Funeral Home.

ROGER NORMAN BEAUDRY
POOLER, GA. -- Mr. Roger Norman Beaudry, age 54, died unexpectedly at his home in Pooler, Georgia. He was born July 20, 1946, son of Jean Paul and Jeanne (Daigle) Beaudry in Granby, Que. He graduated from Swanton High School in 1964. He married Lynn Wilbur, March 7, 1987. He was employed as an Avionics Installer for most of his life.
He was pre-deceased by his father Jean Paul in 1986.
He is survived by his wife Lynn, and his mother Jeanne, 3 daughters, Kristen Morgan and her husband Bayne of Pooler, Ga., Christine Beaudry and her fiancé Jason Berry of Manchester, Conn., Laurie Domanico and her husband Brian of Vernon Conn., a son, James Hadley and his fianceé Jennifer Johnson of Springfield, Ga., a granddaughter Meghan Domanico, a sister Louise King and her husband George of St. Albans, and a brother Jean Guy Beaudry and his wife Cindy of Williston, several nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Beaudry Family lot in Mount Calvary. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas C. Strickland and Sons Funeral home of Pooler, Ga., and the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home locally.
RALPH WILLIAM LARSON
ST. ALBANS Ralph William Larson, 80, a resident of Congress Street in St. Albans City passed away Friday, May 18, 2001, following a brief illness, with his daughter and grandson at his side.
He was born in Sterling, Mass., July 8, 1920, the son of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Atkins) Larson. He attended schools in Massachusetts and on July 28, 1948, he married the former Marion Spooner who predeceased him Nov. 4, 1984.
For most of his life Mr. Larson worked as a master wood craftsman and was employed throughout the years at several marinas and cabinet making shops. He was very involved in the restoration of antiques and boats and had a large collection of antique blowtorches. He was also a model train enthusiast and in earlier years he had been a member of the Masonic Lodge in Wolfeboro, N.H. Mr. Larson faithfully served his country in the United States Navy during WWII.
Mr. Larson leaves his daughter, Cynthia Deyak and his grandson, Michael Deyak both of St. Albans.
He was predeceased by his wife Marion in 1984, his brother Arthur Jr. in 1985, and a special friend, Ruth Austine in 1999.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2001, at the St. Albans Bay Cemetery, Lake Rd., St. Albans Town. The Reverend Mary Beth Hutchinson, Pastor of the First Congregational Church of St. Albans will officiate.
A vocational scholarship fund in Mr. Larson's name is presently being established through Bellows Free Academy, St. Albans. In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts may be made to the Ralph W. Larson Vocational Scholarship Fund in care of Cynthia Deyak, 65 Bank Street, #3, St. Albans, VT 05478.
