ANITA MARIE DOMINGUEZ
SWANTON/SEATTLE, Wash. -- Anita Marie Dominguez, 25, died unexpectedly from an auto accident, July 11, 2003, in Seattle, Wash.
Anita was born in Poccatello, Ind. on July 22, 1977, the daughter of the late John Dominguez and the late Marilyn Tesheep. She moved to Swanton at the age of seven and attended the Swanton Schools through the grade 10. She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1995.
Anita was a Native American and a member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribe, Fort Hall, Ind.
Anita leaves her son, Dante; two brothers, Edwin Tesheep and Joshua DeCell, both of Swanton; a sister, LaDonna DeCell and her partner, Paul Ashline of Enosburg; step-parents, Earl and Linda DeCell; two step-brothers, Barry Leffell III and Travis DeCell, all of Swanton; a niece; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Holy Angels Church in St. Albans on Aug. 8, 2003, at 2 p.m.
EDWARD N. HELIAS
ST. ALBANS -- Mr. Edward N. Helias, age 82, died Saturday evening, Aug. 2, 2003, in the Northwestern Medical Center. He was born in St. Albans, Feb. 21, 1921, son of the late John and Sarah (Gebeault) Helias.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post 1. He was a sales representative for the St. Albans Co-Operative Creamery for several years and was a communicant of Holy Angels Church.
On Oct. 11, 1947, he married Pauline M. Patenaude. Besides his wife of St. Albans, he is survived by his daughter, Susanne and her husband Charles Boudreau of St. Albans Town; his son, Richard and his wife Regina Helias of St. Albans; grandchildren, Renee and Brian Wehrle and Anthony Helias; a great-granddaughter, Michelle Wehrle, all of St. Albans; a brother, Lawrence and his wife, Shirley Helias of Worchester, Mass.; several cousins, nieces and nephews; his brothers-in-law, Raymond Patenaude and Gerard Patenaude, both of St. Albans. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Gloria Wilson, Francis Helias, Antoinette Gregoire, Blanche Smith, Flora Prunier and Janet Bohigian.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Brady & Levesque Funeral Chapel, with Father Maurice Roy, pastor of Holy Angels Church, officiating. Interment was in the Patenaude/Helias family lot in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

PAUL CULVER
WEST SWANTON -- Paul Culver, 66, died peacefully at his home in West Swanton on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003. He was born in Ripton, Vermont on Jan. 13, 1937, the son of the late Mervin and Neita (Masterson) Culver.
He was a volunteer with the Franklin County Humane Society. Paul loved to watch western movies and listen to country western music, enjoyed eating hot dogs, cucumbers and pancakes sitting on the beach watching the bonfire and sitting in the garage with his dogs.
Paul is survived by a sister, Marguerite (Culver) Liberty and her husband, Patrick of Westford; two nephews, Ricky Liberty and his wife, Brenda of Maine and Ronald Liberty and his wife, Lisa of Richmond; a niece, Anne Liberty of Burlington; two great-nephews, Patrick A. Liberty of Westford and William Liberty of Burlington; a great-niece, Christine Liberty of Richmond; several cousins and his beloved dogs, Muffin and Murdock. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by four brothers, Clifton who was killed in the Korean War, Edward, Mahlon and Roger.
Many thanks to all the staff at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans and to the caregivers that have cared for him over the years. Special thanks to Brenda Hall and Steven Martell for with whom Paul shared a loving home.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, at 11 a.m. in the Maple Cemetery in Lincoln with the Reverend David Wood officiating. Paul's family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main St., St. Albans.
ILA FLORENCE BOOMHOWER
SWANTON/HIGHGATE SPRINGS -- Mrs. Ila Florence Boomhower, 90, died Sunday afternoon, Aug. 3, 2003, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law on the Bushey Road in St. Albans.
A native of Alburg Mrs. Boomhower later lived in Swanton and more recently on Carter Hill in Highgate Springs. She was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church.
She was born in Alburg, April 29, 1913, the daughter of the late Aaron and Maryette (Boyce) Honsinger. She was married to Giles Cheney who predeceased her on June 9, 1945.
Mrs., Boomhower leaves two daughters, Barbara Brown and her husband Ross of St. Albans and Mariette Hendricks and her husband Raymond of West Saugerties, N.Y.; one brother, Clarence Honsinger and his wife Anita of St. Albans; as well as 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her very special friends, Florence Hakey, Cecile Snow and Beatrice Cheney all of Swanton.
In addition to her husband Giles, Mrs. Boomhower was also predeceased by her children, Bernard, Doris and Fred Cheney and by a grandson, Brett Hope on Dec. 7, 1990.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, at 11 a.m. from The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Avenue, Swanton. The Reverend Donavee Copenhaver, pastor of the Missisquoi River Charge of the United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Cheney family lot in Riverside Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2003, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
NOELLA M. WAGNER
ST. ALBANS -- Mrs. Noella M. Wagner, age 87, died Sunday evening, Aug. 3, 2003, at her home, with her loving and caring family at her bedside.
She was born in Fairfax, Dec. 25, 1915, daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Proulx) Gaudette. She was married to Raymond Wagner, Dec. 5, 1932. Mr. Wagner died June 27, 1977. She and her husband had a home on Lake Street from which they rented rooms and boarded many people who had to live alone. They shared their home and made their home a home to all.
Her survivors include her three children, Francis and his wife Charlene Wagner of Fairfield, Robert Wagner of St. Albans, Shirley and her husband Prosper Bailey, Jr. of St. Albans; a brother, Arthur and his wife Arlene Gaudette of Fairfax; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Gaudette, and Catherine Gaudette; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Raymond, she was predeceased by her infant son, Louis Allen Wagner; and by 11 brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church. Friends may call at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, 86 South Main St., from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in the Wagner family lot in St. Luke's Cemetery in Fairfax.

BEATRICE W. BEAN
ST. ALBANS / RICHFORD - Beatrice W. Bean, LPN, age 89, passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003, at the Holiday House Nursing Home in St. Albans where she had been a resident since 1994.
she was born June 1, 1914, in Wilbraham, Mass., the daughter of the late William and Maybelle (Eldridge) Whitman.
Although Bea was a very private person, she did participate in the Lyceum Program as well as most of the activities at Holiday House, she especially enjoyed painting with Norm Bushey. She also loved cats, babies, collecting buttons, chocolate, turkey drumsticks, root beer and anything purple. Her greatest love was reading.
She was a long time member of the Green Mountain Button Club, Massachusetts Button Society, and the National Button Club.
She leaves behind a very special friend and roommate, Dorothy Ladd; her closest friends, Ernie and Sherry Farrar, and Delia Martin, all of St. Albans. A special thank you to her step-children, David Bean of Georgia, and James Bean of Lindsborg, Ky. for their generosity and understanding. And a sincere thank you to the staff at Holiday House and Dr. Teig Marco for the many years of wonderful care given to Bea. Bea's smile and twinkling eyes caught the hearts of the staff, residents and their families. She will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband, Earle Bean in 1992.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, at 10 a.m. in the Bean family lot at the Hill West Cemetery in Montgomery Center with Pastor Patrick Hoadley officiating. There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at 2 p.m. at the Holiday House Nursing Home, 264 Sheldon Road, St. Albans.

ANNE (BRUCHANSKY) WILLS
MILTON, Vt./DANBURY, Conn. -- Anne (Bruchansky) Wills, 78, died at the Vermont Respite House in Williston. Anne was born on July 20, 1925, in Bridgeport, Conn., the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Zamoido) Bruchansky.
She was married to Norman Wills who predeceased her in 1991. Mrs. Wills had worked as a secretary for Amphenol RF in Danbury until her retirement.
She is survived by her son, Paul, and his wife, Joy, of Milton, Vt. and their daughter, Brooke; by her daughter, Barbara Urso, and her husband, Richard, of Sparta, N.J., and their children Deian and Joshua Urso; by two sisters and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, at 11 a.m. in the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Danbury, Conn. Burial will follow in the Hull Cemetery in West Redding, Conn.
