Ellen E. Tucker
ST. MARYS, PENN. — Ellen E. Tucker, 83, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys, died Sunday, April 15 at the nursing home following a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 29, 1917 in Swampscott, Mass., the daughter of Patrick J. and Beatrice M. (Norton) Killilea.
On April 10, 1948 in Swampscott, she married
B. Rodney Tucker of Tunbridge, Vt. Since 1955 they had made their home in St. Marys, Penn. Her husband died November 6, 2000.
She was a graduate of Swampscott High school and attended Burdette School of Business. She was member of St. Marys church, Scamper Trailer Club and the St. Marys Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a volunteer for the American Red Cross and for many organizations in the community.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mae Killilea of Lynn, Mass.; Jessie Tucker of Tunbridge; two nephews, David Splaine of Merrimac, Mass.; Benjamin Tucker of Tunbridge; and four nieces; Martha Flynn of Merrimac, Mass.; Ellen Green of Tenants Harbor, Maine; Judith Tucker of Wollaston, Mass; and Marilyn Lyford of Chelsea, Vt.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; two sisters; Claire Splaine and Mary Killilea, and a brother, John Killilea. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A mass of Christian burial was held Wednesday, April 18 at St. Marys church with the Rev. Frank Ziemkiewicz, O.S.B officiating. A graveside committal service will be held Sunday, Mary 6 at 2:30 p.m. at the Tunbridge Village cemetery with the Rev. Omer St. Onge officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Elk Haven Nursing Home, 785 Johnsonburg Road, St. Marys, Penn. 15857 or to the Elk Regional Health Center, 763 Johnsonburg Road, St. Marys, Penn. 15857. The local arrangements are under the direction of the Boardway & Cilley Funeral Home in Chelsea.
Arthur D. Pixley
STRAFFORD — Arthur D. Pixley, 67, died Saturday, May 24, 2003 at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, He was born in Strafford June 1, 1935, the son of Grover and Alice (Harvey) Pixley.
He grew up in Strafford and worked with his brother on a farm as a young boy. In the early 1960’s, he was placed under the State of Vermont’s care. He lived all around the state and spent the past 28 years in St. Albans.
He attended the Church of the Rock and was a member of the Franklin County Humane Society and the Greyhound Rescue League, both of St. Albans. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and checkers, listening to country music, spending time with dogs and cats, and was an avid people watcher.
He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Harvey Pixley.
Survivors include two brothers, Edward Pixley of Randolph Center and Marvin Pixley of Strafford; two sisters, Isabel Spencer of Randolph Center and Ruth Lewis of Braintree; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his dear friends and care givers, Robert and Deb Martel, with whom he made his home in St. Albans, as well as his guardian, Marybeth Blakeney.
Calling hours were Wednesday evening at the Boardway & Cilley Funeral Home in Chelsea. Funeral services will be Thursday May 29, at 2 p.m. at the United Church of Strafford, with the Rev. Mary Luckey officiating. Burial will follow in the Strafford cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society, 30 Sunset Drive, St. Albans.
Henry G. Yngve
RANDOLPH — Henry G. Yngve, 85, of Randolph, died Thursday morning, May 31, at the Four Seasons in Northfield.
He was born August 6, 1915, in Boston, Mass., son of Erick and Matilda (Olson) Yngve.
He was married
to Betty A. Welna Aug. 31, 1945, in Florida. She passed away in 1999.
The Yngves made their home in Cleveland and Willoughby Hills, Ohio, for many years, before retiring to Chichester, N.H., in 1981, then moving to Randolph in 1990.
He had been a quality control engineer for G.E. and finally Gould Manufacturing in Ohio. He was a man of great faith, who enjoyed organic gardening, classical and gospel music, tennis, fishing, animals, traveling and people.
He leaves his daughter, Karin Olson of Randolph; a brother, Enock Yngve of New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Morgan, Mikael, and Austin Kennedy; two step-grandchildren; Ben and Adam Schersten; and was predeceased by his sister, Dagmar Andreson, and brother Rudy Yngve.
Graveside services this summer at Randolph Center cemetery will be announced at a later date. There will be no calling hours.
Contributions in his memory may be made to the Bethany Church, UCC, Associate Pastor Fund, 30 North Main Street, Randolph, Vt. 05060; or to the A.B. Chandler Cultural Foundation, 71-73 North Main Street, Randolph, Vt. 05060.

Phyllis I. Boudreau
LINCOLN, DEL. — Phyllis I. Boudreau, 85, died July 21, 2000 in her home from cancer complications.
She was born February 10, 1915, the daughter of the late Earl and Avis Blanchard in Brookfield.
She married
Leighton "Bill" Boudreau in 1934 and they had two daughters, Patricia (deceased) and Constance Woolford.
Mrs. Boudreau was employed for many years at the Northfield Telephone company in Northfield, retiring in 1977.
After a lifetime as a Vermont resident, she moved to Lincoln, Del. in 1997 to reside with her son-in-law and daughter, Anthony and Constance Woolford.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Georgetown, Del.
She leaves her daughter and son-in-law, Constance and Anthony Woolford, three grandchildren: Michelle and James Court of Tyngsboro, Mass., Stacy and Larry Dennis of Kittery, Me. and Cameron and Kerry Woolford of Cuenca, Ecuador; 11 great grandchildren, a sister, Helen Cook of Swanton, and many other relatives.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, July 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. — Day Funeral Home in Randolph. Burial will be July 31 at 10 a.m. East Braintree cemetery, Rt. 12, E. Braintree, Pastor Tom Shelton will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, she requested the Memorial donations be made to the building fund of Calvary Baptist Church, 318 S. Dupont Blvd., Georgetown, Del. 19947.
Edith D. Moxley
TAFTSVILLE — Edith D. Moxley, 90, died July 20, 2000 at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Ctr. in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
She was born June 23, 1910 in St. Albans, daughter of Frederick Worthy Driver and May (Lawton) Driver.
Mrs. Moxley graduated from St. Albans High School in 1928, and then from the Randolph High School Teacher Training School. She received her teachers training certifications from both U.V.M. and Castleton. She married
Maurice Moxley Aug. 30, 1931. Mrs. Moxley taught for many years in Chelsea, Pomfret, Bridgewater, and Woodstock.
She was a member of the Teago Home Dem and served as president. She belonged to: The Teago Grange #324 serving as a Lecture and Ceries, was the secretary /treasurer for the Windsor County Teachers Association, and a member of the North Pomfret Church. When the Moxley’s retired they wintered in Florida and traveled to many, many places. Edith recently enjoyed celebrating her 90th birthday with her entire family.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years Maurice J. Moxley, Taftsville and four children, Robert Moxley of Arcadia, Fla.; Steven Moxley of Windsor; Dale Moxley of Eustis, Fla. and Carolyn Johnson of Taftsville; nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; two sisters: Marion Jones of Ellsworth, Penn. and Arlene Pearo of St. Albans; she was pre-deceased by two brothers; Frederick and Arthur Driver and six sisters; Beatrice Coburn, Henrietta Driver, Doris Sweet, Jessie Cleveland, Kathleen Williams and Gladys Reed.
A funeral service was held Monday July 24, at the No. Pomfret Congregational Church in No. Pomfret. Rev. Sami McRae, officiating. Burial followed at the Riverside cemetery in Woodstock.

Dianne L. O’Reilly
RANDOLPH — Dianne Lynne O’Reilly, 51, of Randolph, died Monday, July 17 at her home.
She was born October 31, 1948 in Randolph the daughter of Otto and Irese (Russ) Orticari. She was a lifetime Randolph area resident, and graduated from Whitcomb High School in Bethel. She had attended O’Brien School of Cosmetology in Burlington, and had worked for Welch’s Beauty Parlor in South Royalton. She enjoyed dogs, cooking and flyfishing.
She is survived by her sons, Sean O’Reilly of South Royalton, and Todd O’Reilly of Bethlehem, Penn.; father, Otto Orticari of Hancock; brothers, Michael Orticari of Randolph and Richard Orticari of South Royalton.
Graveside services were held Friday, July 21 at the Fairview cemetery in Bethel, with Rev. Ronald Rilling, officiating. Pall bearers were Richie Orticari, Rick Orticari, Sean O’Reilly, and Mike Orticari.
Arrangements were made by the Day Funeral Home in Randolph.
