Florence C. Kramer
STOCKBRIDGE — Florence C. Kramer 88, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2001 at the Eden Park Nursing Home in Rutland. She was born in Glastonbury Conn., March 14, 1913, the daughter of William and Minnie (Shroeder) Wallace.
She was educated in Glastonbury schools. She was a member of the Saint James Episcopal Church in Glastonbury.
She lived in East Hartford, Conn. for 60 years before moving to Stockbridge, in 2000.
She enjoyed gardening, and her grandchildren.
She married
Valentine Kramer Oct. 14, 1933, he died in 2000.
She leaves a son, Edward Kramer of Columbia N.C.; a daughter, Valerie Hart of Stockbridge; a sister, Martha Hauet of Indiana; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at the St. James cemetery in Glastonbury, Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001. There were no calling hours.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Day Funeral Home of Randolph.
George E. Bingham, Sr.
SHARPSBURG, KY. — George E. Bingham, Sr., 70, formerly of South Royalton, died Tuesday, Aug. 14 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. He was born Jan. 5, 1931.
Burial will be in Vermont at a later date.
Adeline LaFrance
STOCKBRIDGE-Adeline LaFrance, 81, died Aug. 10, 2001. She was born June 28, 1920 and was a resident of Stockbridge for the past 35 years.
She is survived by her husband of Stockbridge and five children. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Richard C. Bisson
ROCHESTER — Richard Charles Bisson, 67, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2001, at the Rutland Regional Medical Center
He was born in Rochester, Feb. 23, 1934, the son of Fred A. and Alene (Andrews) Bisson.
He was educated in Rochester schools, where he graduated in 1952. He graduated from the Rutland Business School in 1953. He worked for Weyerhauser Plywood Mill in Hancock, then was manager for Vermont Pacific in Rochester and the Plywood division in Bethel.
He worked for several years for Harvey Homes Inc. of Rochester, retiring in 1991.
He was a past member of the Rochester Lions Club and the Rochester Fire Department. He enjoyed hiking, hunting, fishing, reading and attending his flowers.
He married
Ruby Babcock May 11, 1956 in Rochester.
He leaves his wife of Rochester, two daughters: Kathy Bisson of Granville and Lynda Salgo and her husband Jason of Proctor; a sister, Dorothy Babcock of Pittsford; two grandchildren; Alexander and Nathaniel Salgo; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was pre-deceased by his parents and a brother, Donald.
Funeral Services were held at the Rochester Federated Church, Saturday Aug. 11, with Rev. Bill Daniels officiating. The pianist was Larry Hamberlin. The congregation sang "The Church in The Wildwood, " and "The Old Rugged Cross." Reflections were given by neighbors and friends.
The bearers were Don Harvey, Peter Harvey, Ralph Darrah, Jason Salgo, Marvin Harvey, and Norman Pratt.
Burial was in the Woodlawn cemetery in Rochester.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Day Funeral Home in Randolph.
Anna A. Anthony
BRAINTREE — Anna A. Anthony, 92, formerly of Union, N.J. died Aug. 10, 2001 at the Berlin Heath and Rehabilitation Center in Berlin.
She was born in Union, N.J. July 29, 1909 the daughter of Gilbert and Sadie (Williams) Minnerly.
She was educated in Union, N.J. Schools. She worked at her family’s pansy flower farm, as a telephone operator and retired from the Inmont Corp., all in N.J.
She found joy in oil painting, starting in her early 60’s. She was a member of the Baptist Fellowship in Randolph.
She married
Charles Anthony June 12, 1928 in Union, N. J. He died in 1995.
She leaves a son, Charles "Chuck" Anthony, and his wife, Ricka, of Braintree and a daughter, Doris Davies, and her husband George, of Jackson, N.J; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at the Baptist Fellowship in Randolph, Tuesday, Aug. 14, with the Rev. Jerry Smith officiating.
There were no calling hours.
Memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund at the Baptist Fellowship, P.O. Box 1051 Rt. 66, Randolph, Vt. 05060, or the American Cancer Society, Vermont Division, 13 Loomis St. Montpelier, Vt. 05602.

Julian H. Otten
ROCHESTER — Julian H. Otten, 82, of Rochester died early Thursday morning, Nov. 21, 2002 at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph.

Roberta LaFountain
ENFIELD, N.H. — Roberta "Bert" LaFountain, 64, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002 at her home, after a long battle with lung cancer.
She was born Jan. 29, 1938 in East Braintree, daughter of Elsie Kerry and Henry Benoir. She grew up in Bethel.
She married
Wilson Shonio in 1958. They later divorced and she married
William LaFountain of Enfield, N.H.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters; Theresa and Dianna Shonio, both of Claremont, N.H.; Tammy Goddard and husband, Ben, of Stockbridge; Lisa McGuckin and husband, Jason, of Lebanon, N.H.; son Mark LaFountain of Enfield; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Joan Farrell of Bethel; three brothers. Doug Benoir of Bethel, Nelson Benoir of Lebanon, N.H. and Wendall Benoir of Bethel; as well as a best friend, Arlene Wheeler of Springfield, N.H.
She was pre-deceased by a brother, Stanley, and a granddaughter, Corilla LaFountain.
She attended schools in Bethel. She worked at Fyles & Rice, Waterbury Plastics, Weyerhaeuser, and at Colby-Sawyer College.
She enjoyed singing, dancing, spending time with friends and family, and also watching her wild birds.
Graveside services were held Monday, Nov. 18 at Springfield cemetery in Springfield, N.H. Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon, N.H. was in charge of arrangements. Priest Geoffrey Hahnaman of St. Andrews Episcopal Church of New London officiated the funeral service.
