HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS Free Lookups: Harris Co. TX obituaries originals June 1995 to present or earlier dates if needed. Visits to Harris Co. TX Courthouse and Public Record look ups. Will answer general research questions for Texas research, records, repositories etc. Paid Lookups: I am very fortunate to have a great genealogy library to use. (Clayton Library) I have access to all US Federal census 1790 to 1930. I would be glad to check these census with indexes for a name: $5 per name per state ($10 for common surname) (I am sorry that gas is now $1.60 a gallon and I have to drive into Houston 50 mile round trip!)
