Jones Sr., age 74, of Jamestown, N.C., died Saturday, Nov. 29, 1997 at Wesley-Long Hospital.
A native of Marion, Mr.
Jones was the creator of the concept of the Barn Dinner Theatre and was sole owner and operator for almost 35 years. He attended college in Concord and graduated from the University of Tennessee where he played football. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and strongly supported the VFW.

Jones of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Connie Sue and Rick Pitts, Virginia Beach; two sons and daughter-in-law, Roy Conley (Rick) Jr. and Faye Jones, Jamestown, N.C., and David Jones, Archdale, N.C.; his mother, Mary Jane Jones, Kingsport, Tenn.; mother of his children, Elizabeth Pauline Jones, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; one sister, Elizabeth

A memorial service will be held today, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home in Greensboro, N.C.

O'Dey
Orpha E. O'Dey, age 78, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 1997 in Chesapeake.
Mrs. O'Dey was residing in Chesapeake at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Elijah and Mahala Barker Blevins and was the widow of Hurley C. O'Dey.
She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Donald W. and Brenda O'Dey, Chesapeake; three daughters, Mrs. Dewey (Merel) Barker, Virginia Beach, Mrs. Earl (Pat) Ingram and Freda Thomas, both of Chesapeake; one sister, Dorothy Dillon, Big Springs, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Donald O'Dey officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church, 419 Glenrock Road, Norfolk VA 23502.

Snow
George Dayton Snow, age 79, died Friday, Nov. 28, 1997 at his home in Saltville.
He was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine (Bice) Snow; one son and daughter-in-law, James Dayton and Mary Ann Snow, Abingdon; three brothers, Johnny Snow and James K. Snow, both of Saltville, and J.B. Snow, Buena Vista; one granddaughter, Tara Snow, Abingdon; several nieces and nephews; special family friends, Eva Hammond and Oliver Doane.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, in Mount Pleasant Union Church with the Rev. Chuck Blevins officiating. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville was in charge of arrangements.
Barbary
Harold Lee Barbary, age 65, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1997 in Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tenn.
He was a native of Smyth County.
Survivors include one brother, Don Barbary, York, S.C.
military graveside services were conducted at noon Friday, Dec. 5, in Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, Tenn., with Charles DeWitt Byrd Post 3382 of VFW officiating.

Bishop
Thelma Odell Bishop, age 80, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1997 at her home in Lenoir, N.C. She was a member of the Heavenly Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Mack Bishop; one son, Douglas Bishop; four brothers, Kyle, Lucian, Garfield and Ray Scott; two sisters, Lura Mae and Evelyn Faye Scott.
She is survived by one son, Gerald Bishop, Seattle, Wash.; four sisters, Katherine (Toots) Rector, Mrs. James (Juanita) Cassell, and Mamie Scott, all of Marion, and Helen Hanshew, Nebo; one grandchild, Grey Bishop; four step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. in the Heavenly Hope Baptist Church in Lenoir, N.C., with the Rev. Benny Greene, Rev. Terrell Goble, and Brother Zendall Greene officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Groseclose.

Lois Brott Davis, age 76, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 1997.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Davis Jr., Marion; one daughter, Linda Sue Davis of Chatsworth, Calif.; two sons and daughter-in-law, Ralph III and Pam Atkins Davis of Chilhowie, and Craig Davis of Marion; one brother, Gerald Brott of Bald Eagle, Minn.; four grandchildren, Brandy Davis, Desiree Davis, Michelle Davis, and Michael Davis.
Funeral services will be held today, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. at Seaver-
Brown Chapel with Pastor James H. Bangle officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery.

Louise Campbell Dunford, age 76, of Wytheville, died Monday, Dec. 1, 1997 in the Wythe County Community Hospital.
Mrs. Dunford was born in Cripple Creek, the daughter of the late Charlie R. and Ella Fay Pack Campbell. She was a member of the Wytheville Church of God of Prophecy and was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Fred R. Dunford; two brothers, Paul and Donald Campbell.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Bridgett Kline of Summerville, S.C.; one daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie and Daniel Hawks of Draper; one stepson and spouse, Barnett and Faye Dunford of Narrows; two stepdaughters and spouses, Freda and Thomas McCroskey of Tazewell, and Marlene and Dana Jonas of Wytheville; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harlan and Betty Campbell of Greensboro, N.C., and Charles Hicks and Wilma Campbell of Ivanhoe; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Jack Stoots of Pulaski, Juanita and Sloan Gibson of Kirkland, Wash., Marie and Ted Wojciechowski of Ft. Pierce, Fla., and Edna and Bob Bond of Kernersville, N.C.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. at the Reese Funeral Chapel with t he Rev. Sonny Ayers, the REv. Randolph Eversole and the REv. Fred Fisher officiating. Interment followed in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ivanhoe. The family suggests that those who prefer may make memorials to the Wytheville Church of God of Prophecy Mission Fund.
