Margaret Eister
Margaret Ann Ford Eister, an employee of the U.S. Geological Survey for 30 years and mother of Katherine (Kate) Eister Fisher of Herndon, died June 5 at her home in Mt. Jackson.
She was born in Washington, D.C. March 18, 1927 to Edward F. Liston and Katherine Liston. After the divorce of her parents, she moved from Arlington to New York City, where her mother opened an interior decorating firm.
Her mother married Harvard Professor John Ford, who adopted her, and they lived in Boston and in Lincoln, Ma. Margaret Eister graduated from the Dana Hall School for Girls in Wellesley, Ma. and from Ratcliff College in Boston with a Bachelors Degree in Geography. She returned to Washington in 1946 and worked as a “government girl” information specialist for the War Department. She and her husband, William A. Eister, were married in 1948.
She was a Sunday School teacher and member of the Fairfax Unitarian Church and participated in open housing vigils in Northern Virginia in the 1960s. Following her retirement, she moved to Mt. Jackson where she was active in the Woodstock Woman’s Club, Mt. Jackson Book Club, Mt. Jackson Garden Club and served on the Shenandoah County Democratic Committee. She was past president of the Shenandoah Democratic Woman’s Club and was a volunteer at a bloodmobile and at the Mt. Jackson Library.
Her husband died in 1979. A stepson, William Eister, died in the service in Vietnam in 1968, and another, Albert L. (Jack) Eister, died in 1995.
In addition to her daughter, survivors include a step-granddaughter, Irene Hardy of Sunbury, Pa. and two step great-grandsons, Christopher and Jonathan Hardy of Sunbury.
Memorial donations may be made to the Herndon Woman’s Club, P.O. Box 334, Herndon, Va. 20172. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at the Vienna Presbyterian Church, 124 Church St. N.E., Vienna. Interment was at Culpeper National Cemetery.
Pamela Louise Fedrick
Pamela Louise Fedrick, 37, of Sterling died June 10 at her home.
She was born Oct. 5, 1965 in Ashburn to Betty Fisher Cunningham of Sterling and the late Herbert Cunningham.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Thomas P. Fedrick of Sterling, and a sister, Dawn Stevens of Virginia Beach.

Rose F. Corrao
Rose F. Corrao of Marshall, Va. died June 25 at Annaburg Manor in Manassas.
She was born June 21, 1918 in Brooklyn, N.Y. to the late Nicholas Joseph and Anna Scapparone Federico.
Survivors include her daughter, Joanne Mucia of Sterling; one son, John Corrao of Orlean, Va.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

John Adelbert Sullivan Jr.
John Adelbert Sullivan Jr., 89, father of Mary Shangraw of Sterling, died June 25 at Loudoun Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Leesburg.
He was a resident of Oneida, N.Y. for 35 years and owned a car dealership there before moving to Leesburg. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Knights of Columbia in Oneida.
Other survivors include his son-in-law, Rick Shangraw of Sterling; three grandchilren, Austin Shangraw, Anna Shandraw and Alexandra Shangraw; a niece, Ann Maunder of Rochester, N.Y.; and a nephew, Robert Sullivan of Syracuse, N.Y.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11 at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville, Md. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Respite Center, 751 Miller Dr. S.E., Suite D2, Leesburg, Va. 20175. Arrangements were by Colonial Funeral Home.
Regina Maureen McKeon
Regina Maureen McKeon, 56, a resident of Ashburn, died July 1 at Loudoun Hospital Center.
She was born May 13, 1947 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Owner of Mail Boxes, Etc. in Ashburn, she was a member of the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce.
Services were held July 7 at Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, with Father Richard Guest officiating. Interment was at St. John’s Cemetery in Leesburg.
Survivors include one son, Thomas McKeon of Ashburn; one daughter, Mary Holleran of Ashburn; a brother, Frank Pentony of Long Island, N.Y.; two sisters, Marureen Ferrogari of Rockville Center, N.Y. and Elaine Oliver of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one grandson, Andrew Holleran of Ashburn; a son-in-law, Edward Holleran of Ashburn; and a daughter-in-law, Christine McKeon of Ashburn.

The Rev. Clifton Reardon
The Very Rev. B. Clifton Reardon, 75, of Franklin Farms, the founding rector of the Church of the Epiphany in Herndon, died July 5 at Fair Oaks Hospital.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, he graduated from West High School in Columbus, Dennison University in Granville, Ohio, and the General Seminary in New York. He was ordained to the priesthood of the Episcopal Church in 1951. He served parishes in Pt. Pleasant, Pa., Selbyville, Del. and Pulaski and Roanoke. He served as the Archdeacon of the Diocese of Southwestern Virginia and worked at the former Office of Economic Opportunity and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
While working for the Federal government, he assisted at parishes in Northern Virginia and later became an innkeeper in Maine before returning to Northern Virginia to become an assistant rector at Truro Episcopal Church in Fairfax. After helping to found the Church of the Epiphany in Herndon and his retirement, he served as Interim Minister of Parishes in Fredericksburg, Middleburg and Leesburg. More recently he served as the Bishop’s Chaplain to Retired Clergy.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn J. Reardon of Franklin Farms; his children, Kathleen Mojica of Richmond, David C. Reardon of South Freeport, Maine, Deborah L. Reardon of Franklin Farms, Cynthia Reardon of Camden, Maine, and Michael K. Griffin of Roanoke, and his grandchildren, Alanna, Tanya, Alex, Kevin and Dustin.
Funeral services were held July 8 at The Church of the Epiphany Episcopal Church in Herndon, with interment at the Church of Emmanuel Episcopal Cemetery in Middleburg. Anthony (Sonny) Lerza
Anthony (Sonny) Lerza, 75, father of Annette Maree and Tony Lerza, both of Potomac Falls, died July 20 in Williamsburg.
He was born Oct. 30, 1927 in Mamaroneck, N.Y. to the late Constaintino and Nicolina Pennucci Lerza. He was a veteran of the Korean War and spent many of his adult years with his wife and family in Florida. He was an award-winning bowler, and participated in sports including golf, billiards and shuffleboard in his later years.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Stella Petrucci Lerza, and another son, Chuck Lerza of South Florida.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 28, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree St. in Herndon. Inurnment will be held at 3 p.m. Aug. 15 at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium. Arrangements are by Adams-

Tawnya Michelle Rally Brown
Tawnya Michelle Rally Brown, 31, of Sterling died July 24 at Fairfax Hospital.
She was born July 6, 1972 in Mt. Lebanon, Pa. to Richard J. and Vivian Rally of Sterling. She was a graduate of Park View High School and a coach for the Lower Loudoun Girls Softball Association.
Survivors include her husband, John (Butch)
Brown of Sterling; a daughter, Kyleen Mykelti Brown; and a sister, Tony Rally of Sterling.

Barbara Ann Goodpasture
Barbara Ann Goodpasture, 61, of Ashburn died July 20 at Loudoun Hospital Center.
She was born March 8, 1942 in Oklahoma, and worked as a project manager.
Survivors include her husband, William A. Goodpasture of Ashburn; her mother, Nokie Collins of Bellflower, Cal.; three sons, David Calvert of Santa Barbara, Cal., Kenneth Haley of Ventura, Cal., and William Hayslette of Jacksonville, Fl.; three daughters, Debbie Holmes of Lexington, Ky., Michele Hill of Jonesboro, Ark. and Charlene Walker of Baltimore, Md.; two brothers, George Calvert of Jacksonville, Fl. and Ron Calvert of Mesa, Ariz.; her step-father, Clarence Collins of Bellflower, Cal.; and 15 grandchildren.

Peter Breck Holden, 56, of Sterling died July 22 at Loudoun Hospital Center.
