Irene H. Bingham of Reston, mother of Darwin Bingham of Ashburn, died Sept. 17 at Hospice of Northern Virginia. She was born in Cadiz, Ohio.
Survivors include her son and his wife, Jean, of Ashburn; brothers Floyd Hildreth of Sunbury, Ohio and Vance Hildreth of Marengo,Ohio; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Christina.

Joel Clayton Davis
Joel Clayton Davis died Sept. 13 at his home in Herndon.
He was born Feb. 19, 1952 in Oceanside, Cal.
Suvivors include his son, Lucas Davis of Bradenton, Fl.; his mother, Betty Davis of Charlotte, N.C.; his brothers, Richard Davis of Charlotte, N.C. and Robert Davis of Waterhaven, Fl.; and his grandson, Garrett Vincent.

Carol Ann Moates Ruifrok
Carol Ann Moates Ruifrok died Oct. 25 at her home in Sterling.
She was born Dec. 8, 1941 in Homestead, Fl., and was an Executive Administrative Assistant for Litton/PRC.
Survivors include her husband, Wilhelmus J. Ruifrok of Sterling; two daughters, Anne M. Walker and Kathryn Ruifrok, both of Sterling; and two grandchildren.

Johnny Shepherd Wright
Johnny Shepherd Wright, 71, of Ashburn died Nov. 9 at Loudoun Hospital Center.
He was born in Clifton Forge, Va. and was a retired District Manager for Virginia Power. He was a member of the Clifton Forge and Leesburg Presbyterian Churches. He was a former City Council member and Mayor of the City of Clifton Forge.
He was a member of Clifton Forge Masonic Lodge 166 and Kazim Temple of Roanoke, and Past President of the Clifton Forge Lions Club. His wife, Ann Peters Wright, died in 1997.
Survivors include two daughters, Kay W.
Smith of Fayetteville, N.C. and Kathy W. Barnes of Alexandria; two sons, Doug Wright of Gales Ferry, Ct. and Sam Wright of Centreville; a sister, Juanita Helmintoller of Clifton Forge; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Clifton Forge Presbyterian, with the Rev. Dr. William Leonard officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends at the church. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Clifton Forge Presbyterian Church or a favorite charity.

Roberta Clark Hefti
Roberta Clark Hefti of Ashburn died Nov. 26 at her residence.
She was born Jan. 3, 1916 in Washington, D.C. She was the widow of the late John Hefti. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon L.
Smith of Boston, her friend Earl Rigsbee; two grandchildren, J. Wesley and Marin Towne Smith; and nieces and nephews David, Dan, Bob and Shirley Barton, and Carolyn Colon. Services were planned at Heritage Baptist Church in Ashburn. Virginia Wallace Wiley
Virginia Wallace Wiley, 81, of Sterling died Dec. 26 at Reston Hospital.
She was born Nov. 11, 1919 in Beckley, W.Va. and had moved to Sterling in 1996 to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Bill O’Dell.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Beckley. She had worked in the banking industry and retired from the Bank of Raleigh in 1983.
Other survivors include another daughter, Kennett Wiley of Sterling; three grandchildren, Renee Salama and her husband Gabe of Ashburn, Kiska Mattingly and her husband Ted of Leesburg,n and Joseph O’Dell of Fairfax; and three grandchildren, Aaron Salama and Tyler and Kailyn Mattingly.
Services were held Dec. 28 at Blue Ridge Memorial Mausoleum in Beckley. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Northern Virginia Special Olympics, 8992 Fern Park Drive, Second Floor, Burke, Va. 22015.
David Stewart Miquelon
David Stewart Miquelon died Jan. 1 at his home in Sterling.
He was born May 16, 1932 in Sioux City, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Doralene; his children, Sandra Olszowy, James Miquelon, Diane Segelhorst and Marcia Miquelon; and one brother, J. Pierre Miquelon.

Edward (Jack) Trussell
Edward (Jack) Trussell of Bluemont died Jan. 11 at Loudoun Hospital Center.
He as born Sept. 4, 1919 in Sterling. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth P. Trussell.
Survivors include his children, Shirley Channel of Sterling, Barbara Robertson of Maine, Patsy Kidd of Bluemont, Jack Trussell of Sterling, and Jill Kittle and Debbie Jones, both of Winchester; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Federico O. Macalalad
Federico O. Macalalad of Sterling died March 24 at Loudoun Hospital Center.
He was born Jan. 23, 1919 in Mindoro, Philippines.
Survivors include his wife, Teresita A. Macalalad of Sterling; his sons, Alexander Macalalad of San Mateo, Cal. and Emmanuel Macalalad of Sterling; one brother, Hernando Macalalad of Silver Spring, Md.; and two sisters, Isabel and Estrella Macalalad, both of the Philippines.
Interment was in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale, Cal.
Fred Mobley Jr.
Fred Mobley Jr. died March 31 at his home in Sterling.
He retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service, and retired from the General Services Administration at the age of 62.
Survivors include his wife; five children; four sisters; and seven grandchildren.
Interment is scheduled for 10 a.m. April 18 at Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sterling Funeral Services.
