Ronald Olsen Marrs
Ronald Olsen Marrs, Sr. of Sterling died March 29 at Columbia-Reston Hospital. Born Jan. 10, 1935 in Charlottesville, he was a self-employed mechanical contractor in the plumbing and heating industry.
He is survived by his wife Betty Marrs; son, Ronald O. Marrs, Jr. of Sterling; daughters Kimberley Ragland of Tulsa, Ok., and Roxanne McPeak of Jacksonville, N.C.; sisters Iris Coiner and Sue Baker of Charlottesville and O’dell Caruso of San Clements, Ca.; three brothers, Graham Marrs and Steve Marrs of Richmond and Alvin Marrs of Macon, Ga.; and three granddaughters.
Services were held April 2 at
Green Funeral Home with interment at Fairfax Memorial Park. Arrangements were by

Deborah Ann Davis
Deborah Ann Davis of Sterling died April 9 at her home.
A Vice President for NationsBank, she had worked in bank branches in Leesburg, Vienna, Bethesda, Fairfax and Springfield for 24 years. She was a graduate of George Mason University and was active with her children’s sports teams at Park View High School and Sterling Middle School. She was a “Football Mom” in Loudoun County for three consecutive years.
Survivors include two sons, Matthew C. Davis and Jason M. Davis, both of Sterling; her husband, John H. Booher of Sterling; two stepchildren, Jonathan R. Booher and Brittany M. Booher, both of Sterling; her mother, Nancy A. Owens of Manassas; her father, Arthur L. Owens of Shepherds Town, W.V.; a sister, Wanda G. George of Manassas; a niece and a nephew.
Services were scheduled for 11 a.m. April 13 at Lee Funeral Home in Manassas, with the Rev. Jack Sawyer officiating. Entombment followed at Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Northern Virginia, P.O. Box 922, Falls Church, Va. 22040-0922 in memory of Deborah Ann Davis.
Janet Cathrine Burkgren
Janet Cathrine Burkgren of Ashburn, a World War II ambulance driver, died April 16 at Loudoun Hospital Center.
Born March 9, 1914 in London, she was a volunteer ambulance driver in the Motorized Ambulance Corps stations in France at the beginning of WorldWar II. She was a war bride and traveled extensively with her husband throughout Europe and the United States. She was an avid gardener.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Burkgren of Ashburn; two daughters, Joan Burkgren of Great Falls and Marlene C. Burkgren of Ashburn; a sister, Patricia Marshal of Niton, Isle of White, England; son-in-law Stephen Nichols of Great Falls; and two granddaughters, Cindy and Heather B. Nichols.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, 20688 Ashburn Road, Ashburn, Va. 20147. Arrangements were by Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg.
Lawrence Joseph Klunk
Lawrence Joseph Klunk, 67, of Sterling died April 25 at Loudoun Hospital Center in Leesburg. Born January 29, 1932 in Kampsville, Illinois to the late Peter M. and Lillian Anna (Gress) Klunk, he was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Herndon.
Survivors include his wife Joan R. Herkert Klunk of Sterling; sons Ricky Klunk of Ashburn, Michael Klunk of Haymarket and Patrick Klunk of Sterling; daughters Victoria Saunders of Sterling and Marie Martin of McLean; sisters June Puterbaugh of Omaha, NE, Fanny Meyer of St. Charles, MO, Betty Godar of Alton, IL, Lillian Sauer of St. Louis, MO and Sharon Dunn of Cass City, MI; brothers Jim Klunk of Alton, IL, Gene Klunk of La Palma, CA and Bill Klunk of Kampsville, IL; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for April 30 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Michael, Illinois with interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery. Local arrangements by Loudoun Funeral Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Leukemia Society or the Crons and Colitis Foundation.
Betty Lou Willett
Betty Lou Willett of Sterling died April 22 at Columbia-Reston Hospital.
Born June 14, 1927 to the late Luther and Nellie Mary Burke Eastwood in Washington, she was employed as a bank trust clerk in the banking industry.
Survivors include her husband Presley L. Willett of Sterling, son Michael L. Willett and his wife Sharon of Fairfax, son Richard L. Willett of Sterling and granddaughter Jennifer L. Willett of Fairfax.
Services were scheduled for April 26 at the Sterling Baptist Church with interment at National Memorial Park. Arrangements were by

David I. Bouges
David I. Bouges of Sterling died May 1 at Columbia-Reston Hospital.
Born Sept. 19, 1947 in Portland, Maine, he was employed as an operations support specialist for the postal service for 27 years. Bouges was also a veteran of the Vietname War.
Survivors include his wife Debbie M. Bouges; daughter Heather Bouges; sons Logan, Stephen and Jonathon Bouges; sisters Denice Caiazzo and Diane Driskell; and grandchild Harley Hunt.
Services were scheduled for May 4 at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Sterling with private interment at Quantico National Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in his name to Northern Virginia American Lung Association of Virginia, 9735 Main St., Fairfax, VA 22031.

Ursule Kim Angleton Rogers of Washington died May 10 at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington.
She was born Sept. 6, 1964 to Suzan Thi Angleton and the late Michael Wade Angleton.
Survivors include her husband S/Sgt James Pearson Rogers, Bolling Air Force Base, her daughters, Anjelica and Cecillia Rogers, Bolling Air Force Base; her mother, Suzan T. Angleton of Sterling; a brother, Michael Angleton, Sterling; and one sister, Kathy Heffenauer, Sterling.

Richard Joseph Roszel
Richard Joseph Roszel of Sterling died at his home May 8.
Born May 23, 1955 in San Mateo, California to Rita E. Gagnon Roszel and the late Joseph Richard Roszel, he was employed as a warehouse manager for a furniture store.
Survivors include his wife Jane A. Roszel of Sterling, sons Jack M. and Michael S. Roszel; his mother Rita E. Roszel of Falls Church; brothers Rev. Stephen A. Roszel of Purcellville, Peter J. Roszel of Lenexa, Kansas, Paul F. Roszel of Sterling, William C. Roszel of Baltimore, Mark E. Roszel of King, North Carolina; and sisters Suzanne M. Roszel of Alexandria and Rita F. Walters of Springfield.
