O'HANLEY
Phyills M. O'Hanley, age 64, died Wednesday, September 18, 2002. She was the beloved daughter of the late Phillip J. and Mary T. (Gallagher) Corrigan. She is survived by her husband, Roy F. O'Hanley; three daughters, Kathleen Anne Nonnemacker, Denise Marie Tamberrino and Mary Therese O'Hanley; and one son, Roy Francis O'Hanley III; her grandchildren, Jackson Campbell Nonnemacker, James W., Danielle A. and Kyle J. Picard, Tyler P. DeMaire, Sarah M. Golembiesky, Daniel C. O'Hanley, Kennedy Corrigan and Christian Chase O'Hanley; four brothers, Phillip, Clarence, John and Edward Corrigan; four sisters, Catherine Dolan, Rose Basino, Theresa Thompson and Elizabeth Whitsell; and numerous cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred McManus and Harriett Corrigan. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2002 at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Dorothy E. Bristow Scott Price, age 92, of Deltaville, widow of W. Carroll Scott and Harold L. Price, died Wednesday, September 18, 2002. She was a lifelong member of Clarksbury United Methodist Church. For eighty years she was an active participant in the United Methodist Women, and in 1999 she was honored with an award for her Lifetime Commitment to Missions. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Carroll Scott of Newport News; two sisters, Edna Marguerite Bristow and Nancy Bristow Ruark of Deltaville; one nephew, Richard N. Schuster and his wife, Carolina of Pleasanton, Calif.; one niece, Ruth A. Cobb and her husband, Thomas of St. Louis, Mo. BEGOLE
Edgar R. Begole, age 88, of Richmond, widower of Elizabeth C. Begole, died Tuesday, July 30, 2002. He was a graduate of the University of Missouri. While working in the Philippines, he was captured by the Japanese Army and was interned along with his wife and son for three and a half years and was awarded the Philippine Liberation Medal by General Douglas A. MacArthur. After returning to the United States, he was employed by Mobil Oil Company as a pipeline engineer. His work took him to several Middle Eastern countries and to Canada. He was a 33rd Degree Mason and a member of the Methodist Men's Club. Survivors include his son, Michael C. Begole, Richmond; daughter, Dr. Mary Begole-Hilbich, Canada; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, Robert W. Begole, Kansas City, Kan.; sister, Elizabeth Habecost, St. Louis, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2002 at Christ Church Episcopal, 5000 Pouncy Tract Rd., Glen Allen, Va. Peter J. Campo, 78, of Richmond, died July 21, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Olga R. Campo; two daughters, Linda Campo Bakos and Alex Tilford; three grandchildren, Jason, Adam and Nathan Tilford; a great-grandchild, Kieran Tilford; and a nephew, James Beeman. Mr. Campo was an Army veteran of WWII and a member of Richmond Masonic Lodge No. 10 A.F.&A.M., the Italian-American Cultural Association and the Sons of Italy. A committal service with Masonic Rites and military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 8 in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Ann Bard Casson died on July 29, 2002 at the age of 74. She lived and worked for 25 years in Richmond, Va. as a social worker and licensing specialist with the State Department of Social Service. Ann grew up in Croton-On-Hudson, N.Y., matriculated at
Smith College and received her M.S.W. at Bryn Mawr. She was an avid environmentalist and birder. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Mort Casson of Richmond; and her son, Gerald Casson of Seattle, Wa. Interment at a later date will take place in upstate New York.
