Master Sgt. Glenn Haas (retired), age 86, departed suddenly on May 15, 2001. He leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years, Ursula; one daughter and her husband, Debra and Charles Byrd; one son, Michael Haas; five grandchildren, Jessica, Andrew, Luke and John Haas, and Johann Byrd; and one great-grandson, Memphis Seay. Mr. Haas served in the Armed Forces for 28 years and received the Bronze Star medal. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, and where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday. Interment will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia.

SFC Floyd T. Hargrove, U.S. Army, retired, age 50, of Schertz, Texas, passed away Monday, May 14, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Angelika Hargrove of Schertz, Texas; parents, Oliver and Edna Hargrove of Richmond, Va.; daughter, Rocelle Hargrove of Schertz, Texas; son, Floyd Hargrove Jr. of Richmond, Va.; sister, Charlotte Sydnor; and brother, Bruce Hargrove, both of Richmond, Va.; and granddaughter, Tierra Duncan of Schertz, Texas. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2001 at Schertz Funeral Home. Dorothy Hawkins Harper, 95, of Richmond, widow of John C. Harper, and formerly of Enfield, N.C., died Wednesday, May 16, 2001. She is survived by her two daughters, Dot Harper Gragnani and her husband, Frank, Patricia A. Schulte and her husband, Ray; one sister, Carol Hawkins McCary; two granddaughters, Laurie Gragnani Porter, Suzanne Schulte O'Malley and her husband, Matt; one great-grandson, Connor Matthew O'Malley; one devoted nephew, Bob Harper; and many other nieces and nephews. HARRISON
Sallie Labouisse Harrison of Wilmington, N.C., formerly of Richmond, Va., died May 6, 2001, at home. She was the wife of the late Horace Hawes Harrison of Richmond, Va. Mrs. Harrison was born in Charlotte, N.C., on January 25, 1928, to the late Sally Cameron and John Witherspoon Labouisse. She graduated from St. Timothy's School in Stevenson, Md., and attended Parson's School of Design in New York City. She was a past board member of the Valentine Museum and a past chairman of Historic Garden Week in Virginia. Her survivors include two daughters, Ms. Sally Cameron Harrison of Richmond and Anne Harrison Murchison and husband, Alexander S. Murchison of Wilmington, N.C.; grandchildren, Edward Sprunt Murchison and Anne Sterling Murchison of Wilmington, and Thomas Harrison Lewis of Richmond. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Thomas H. Wright Jr. of Wilmington, N.C., and Mrs. Nathaniel S. Howe of Greenwich, Conn. Mrs. Harrison was buried in a private service at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, Hillsborough, N.C., on May 10, 2001. HEATH, Mrs. Ethel Mae Heath, 92, of Victoria, Va., widow of Luther Reynolds Heath, died December 23, 2000. She was a member of Red Lane Baptist Church at Powhatan, Va. Russell D. "Bo" Inge, age 81, of Saxe, died May 14, 2001. He was a WWII Army veteran, a member of American Legion Post 43, and was preceded in death by a son, Russell D. Fannie Hardie Jeffries, 88, of Harrisonburg, died May 16, 2001, at Sunnyside Presbyterian Retirement Community in Harrisonburg. Mrs. Jeffries was born June 1, 1912, in Columbus, Miss., and was the daughter of the late Jason C. and Clara Weaver Crigler. She was the widow of Marion Thomas Jeffries. She was a graduate of the Stuart Circle Hospital School of Nursing, and a member of the Chapter M PEO in Richmond. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg and the Shenandoah Valley Garden Club. She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Lucy Ellen and Jonathan Hawkins, Betsy J. and T. Ritchie Peery, all of Richmond, Nancy J. and Samuel L. Obenschain Jr. of Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Susan H. Harwood, Jonathan A. Hawkins Jr., Richard J., Paul M., and William N. Watson III, Christopher H. and E. Marshall Edward Martin Sr. of Colonial Heights died Tuesday, May 15, 2001. He was the son of the late Eli and Marion Overby Martin. Mr. Martin served in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a deacon at Elm Street Baptist Church and was the president of the Kennedy Bible Class. Mr. Martin was a retired engineer civilian personnel at Ft. Lee.
