Mary E. Long, 86, of Mechanicsville, passed away February 5, 2002. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Whitlock and her husband, Roland, Ethel Keating and her husband, Cifford and Iverna Heisler; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Lois Allen Marshall, age 88, of Amelia, died Tuesday, February 5, 2002. She was the widow of Richard A. Marshall Jr. and is survived by a son, Larry W. Marshall of Amelia; a granddaughter, Rian Marshall; and grandson, Matthew Marshall, both of Chesterfield. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Hamner-McMillian Funeral Home, Blackstone. William A. (Chap) Moore Jr., 53, of Richmond, died Monday, February 4, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Gail T. Moore; three children, Will Moore, Amy Moore, and Stacy Hogston and her husband, Matt; two grandchildren, Mason, age 3, Hayden, age 9 months; and a brother, John Moore. For more than 30 years, Mr. Moore was actively involved in the real estate trade in the Richmond area, having been an agent, broker and appraiser. Mrs. Mary Reed Moses of Richmond, born on November 16, 1909, passed away Thursday, January 31. She is survived by one son, Willie M. Albert L. "Al" Neveux Jr., 86, of Richmond, died Saturday, February 2, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Edith S. Neveux; daughter, Anne N. Knipe of Virginia Beach, Va. and sister, Helene Collins of Braintree, Mass. For over 48 years Mr. Neveux had his business on Main Street, and specialized in life insurance and estate and pension planning. He was a life member of the National Eagle Scout Association. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Central Chapel, 3801 Augusta Avenue, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2002. Interment will be in Sharon Springs, N.Y. William C. "Dick" Parsley, 75, of Mechanicsville, passed away February 4, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Shaw Parsley; son, Danny L. Crumpler Sr. of Saganaw, Mich.; grandson, Danny L. Crumpler Jr. of Richmond; granddaughter, Amy Beth Hawes of Roanoke; two nephews, Rev. G. Wayne Parsley of Parksley and Eddie Bruce Parsley of West Point; two nieces, LaNette P. Boyd of Lanexa and Elaine R. Anglim of Mechanicsville; a great-niece and great-nephews. Mr. Parsley was a dedicated employee of Lawrence Dodge for 49 years. He was a member of the Local No. 666 IBEW and the American Legion Post 175. Thomas Wilburn "Red" Rogers, 62, of Woodstream Dr., Petersburg, died, Monday, February 4, 2002 in Southside Regional Medical Center. He was born in Glen Allen, Virginia. Mr. Rogers served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a retired shipping clerk for Reynold's Metals and parts driver for Car Quest. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas L. Rogers. Surviving are his wife, Beverley J. Rogers of Petersburg; two sons, Thomas Wayne Rogers of Richmond, Phillip Glenn Rogers of Glen Allen; a daughter, Christina Rogers of Gloucester; two grandchildren, his mother, Annie Louise Graham of Ruther Glen; and a sister, Janice L. Wise of Richmond. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 7, 2002 at 7 p.m. in the Hopewell chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with visitation to follow. Interment will be private.

James G. "Skee" Talley, 77, of Mechanicsville and formerly of Ruther Glen, died Sunday, February 3, 2002. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Talley. He is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Carolyn T. and Jim Snead of Richmond and Virginia G. and Bill Meeks of Mechanicsville; his former wife, Gloria June Talley; two sisters, Claudia Oliver of Ohio and Elizabeth G. Glass of Richmond; one grandson, Will Meeks; three granddaughters, Tanya Shewmake, Melanie McKloskey and Kimberly Snead. Mr. Talley was an Army veteran of WWII. Remains rest at the Laburnum Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 2110 East Laburnum Ave, where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. E. Paul Warren Jr., 86, of Richmond, died February 5, 2002. Mr. Warren was first married to Margie Meads, who died in 1970. He is survived by his second wife of 30 years, Margaret B. Warren; four daughters, Mrs. Lynn Reynolds of Smyrna, Ga., Mrs. Joy Hoge of Cibola, Ariz., Mrs. Pauly Hollingsworth of Farmville, Va. and Mrs. Margie Stevens of Montross, Va. He is also survived by a stepdaughter Maryjane Bunch; and a stepson and family, John and Sallie, Jenny, Stuart and Jessica Philips of Richmond; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Mr. Warren was a long-time member of the Vestry and the Treasurer of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in King George, Va. Until his death he was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Richmond, Va. Mr. Warren was born in Shawboro, N.C., grew up in Norfolk, Va. and moved to Dahlgren, Va. where he became Comptroller of the Naval Weapons Laboratory. His career spanned from 1937 to 1973. He was a devoted husband and a kind, loving stepfather and grandfather. A graveside service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in King George County on Thursday, February 7 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church or to the Dahlgren Rescue Squad.

Green Bay, Va.; three stepchildren, James F. Whitby Jr., Patricia Shrode and Laura Andrews; and 10 grandchildren. Relatives and friends gathered at the home of Ms. Erikson for a day of remembrance on Saturday, February 2. No further services will be held.
