Mrs. Marguerite Corr Williamson, age 84, of Richmond, died Friday, December 22, 2000. She was a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church and a member of the Mizpah Chapter #32 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her husband, Olin B. Williamson; one son, Brian M. Williamson and his wife, Teresa; and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St., Glen Allen, where the Mizpah Chapter #32 of the Order of Eastern Star will have a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2000, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad.

Ella Inez Hawk Adams, 85, of Richmond, passed away July 15, 2002. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Alvin A. Adams; son, Gordon L. Adams of Ashland; daughter, Patricia A. Stone and her husband, Ronald V. Hopkins Sr.; sisters, Helen Inge of Richmond and Lula Richards of Sandston; four grandchildren, Carol Adams of Richmond, Gail Perry and her husband, Stan of Newport News, Michelle Bradley and her husband, Kevin of Mechanicsville and Duane Stone of Richmond; three great-grandchildren, Cameron Perry of Newport News and Heather and Robert Bradley of Mechanicsville. Jesse B. Boggs Jr., 75, of Midlothian, Va., passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Juliet "Peggy" Boggs; two daughters, Diane Lett and Courtney Waters; also five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, all of Chesterfield; two brothers, Lewis Boggs of Ohio and Bobby Boggs of West Virginia; one sister, Betty Stoots of Tennessee. Mr. Boggs was a member of the American Legion Post No. 244 and U.A. Local 10. Remains rest Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd., where the family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a prayer service at 5:30 p.m., and where services will be held 2 p.m. Friday. Jay Brennan, 47, died on July 15, 2002 of pancreatic cancer. Jay will be missed by his wife, Teresa; sons, Frankie, Bryan and Sean; his father, James II; his sister, Nancy and many friends. Virginia W. Broache, 79, of Richmond, died Wednesday, July 17, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Randolph L. (Randy) Broache; and her sister, Cora Lee Mitchell. Elizabeth Wight Brown, widow of William Francis Brown, died Tuesday, July 16, 2002. She was born in Richmond, a daughter of the late Richard Cunningham Wight and Pocahontas Wilson Wight of Ginter Park. Mrs.
Brown graduated from St. Catherine's School in Richmond and Goucher College in Baltimore, where she was a member of Delta Gamma Fraternity. She was one of the earliest residents of Westminster Canterbury, where she moved on August 22, 1975. Mrs.
Brown gave the garden there in memory of her husband, who died there in 1975. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, The Woman's Club, a former member of the Country Club of Virginia, and a member of the following societies: the National Society of the Colonial Dames in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the Descendants of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence, The Jamestowne Society, The Huguenot Society of Virginia and the Order of the Crown in America. She is survived by one sister, Virginia Wight Lamb; one brother, Richard C. Wight Jr., both of Richmond; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, July 19 in the chapel at Westminster Canterbury. A private graveside service will be held in Hollywood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts be made to the Westminster Canterbury Foundation.

Edna R. Carey-Cable, 81, of Richmond, formerly of Colonial Beach, died Tuesday, July 16, 2002. She is survived by two sons, Andrew and Michael Cable; seven grandchildren, Andrew Jr., Robin, Joseph, Andrea, Tyler, and Michelle Cable and Marcell Taylor; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Leo Roberts; and many loving friends. Edna was a very active member for many years of the Daughters of America, Fredericksburg Chapter; and the Colonial Beach Woman of the Moose Lodge. Mrs. Ida Hoverstock Chappell, formerly of Carson, Va., died July 16, 2002 in Amelia Co. She was the widow of Homer Mays Chappell and the daughter of the late Grover C. and Susie Alley Hoverstock. Mrs. Chappell is survived by two daughters, Sue C. Lewis and husband, Ralph of Petersburg, Va., Carolyn C. Hardee and husband, Charles of Carson, Va.; three grandsons, Derrick B. Temple and wife, Carla of Carson, Ted Thomas and wife, Angie of Bridgewater, Va., Nicholas Thomas and wife, Elizabeth of Gloucester, Va. Also surviving are a brother, Gillie Hoverstock and wife, Mary Ann of Carson, Va.; and two great-grandchildren, Erika Temple and Mekenzie Thomas. Services will be conducted on Friday, July 19, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Amelia Rescue Squad. Abe Estrin died July 14, 2002 at the age of 93 in Richmond, Virginia, his home since 1958, formerly of Brooklyn, New York. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years, Clara. Adored father of Mark and daughter-in-law Barbara of Providence, R.I., and Rosalie (Arthur) Matz of Baltimore, Md. Cherished grandfather of Robin Estrin and her husband, Seamus Kelly. Loving grandfather of Sharon and Ann Matz. Proud great-grandfather of Margot Clara Kelly. Devoted brother of Edith Dorfman and Gertrude Geller. Admired uncle and cousin. For many years a sales representative for the Weldon Pajama Company, based in New York City, he joined S&K Famous Brands as a sales associate in 1973 and served that company with distinction until his retirement in 1993. He was a long-time volunteer at Beth Sholom Home in Richmond. Abe Estrin was a man of exceptional charm, resilience, intellect, and independence, "not only witty in himself but the cause of wit" in countless loving friends and family members. He, in turn, was blessed by the unique devotion of a wide circle of friends and extended family, notably including Faye Brod and Susan Neidlinger of Richmond. We thought Abe would live forever. We all mourn his loss. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, in Beth-El Chapel at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond.
