Mrs. Peggy Ellington Richardson, 74, of 1352 Womble Rd., Nashville, N.C., died Saturday, May 12, 2001 at Nash Grove Manor Nursing Home. She was the widow of Grady G. Bartholomew and Kit C. Richardson. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas S. and Patsy B. Bartholomew, Nashville, N.C.; one daughter, Kimberly J. Richardson of Windsor, Va.; three grandsons, Brian, Adam and Nicholas Bartholomew; one brother and sister-in-law, W.O. Jones of Emporia, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Richardson was a member of Monumental United Methodist Church of Emporia, Va. Visitation will be at Hockaday Funeral Home, Monday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Graveside services will follow at the Hollister United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. John A. Martin officiating. Mrs. Nina M. Robertson, age 67, of Cumberland, departed this life on Friday, May 11, 2001 in Farmville, Va. She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Robertson; one son, Craig D. Robertson; four daughters, Donna P. Williams, Darcy L. Harvey, Olivia D. Hart and Toni R. Anderson; stepmother, Henrietta Brown; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, four brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. James C. Scholtz, 61, of Midlothian, Va., passed peacefully into God's hands on Saturday, May 5, 2001. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Sherry L. Scholtz; his devoted daughters, Rebecca Isennock and Wendy MacNichol of Baltimore, Md., Kathleen Meramble and Kimberly Feddersen of Chesterfield, Va.; five adoring grandchildren, Megan, Kaitlin, Robert, Tasha and Sam; his stepsister, Janet Trageser; and his loving friend, Bill McGowan. Mr. Scholtz was predeceased by his cherised brother, Martin P. Scholtz. A memorial service, in celebration and thanksgiving for Jim's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 4 at the Virgina Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Amelia, Va., Father William L. Jack Gordon Taylor Jr., 54, of Richmond, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2001. He was the son of the late Jack G. Taylor Sr. and Ethel (Dillsie) Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn Dale Taylor; a son, Jack "Gordie" Taylor III; two daughters, Christina and Richelle Taylor; granddaughter, Chyann Taylor; brother, Thomas W. Taylor; two sisters, Jane T. Gilliland and Linda T. Knight; a close devoted friend, Sarah Wolfe; and numerous friends and a host of relatives. Mr. Taylor was a member of the Richmond Renegades Booster Club. Mary Margaret Magaw Wilson of Richmond, formerly of McKeesport, Pa., has gone to be with her Lord on May 12, 2001, after a lifetime of serving her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Jack A. Wilson; a daughter, Nancy W. Lynch and her husband, Jack; and her son, Jack A. and his wife, Sally of Midland, Mich.; five granddaughters, Kristen M. Raper and her husband, Jim, Lori H. Lynch, Jill E. McLain, Lindsay E. and E. Jenellie Wilson of Midland, Mich.; three great-granddaughters, Emily M. and Jaclyn P. Raper and Amanda L. McLain; one brother, William V. Magaw and his wife, Mary Jane; and two sisters-in-law, four nephews and three nieces. Mary was the daughter of Harry D. and Florence I. Magaw and was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harry T. Magaw. She was a graduate of the Robert Morris College, and was formerly employed as office manager for the American Cancer Society in Palm Harbor, Fla., and as the Southeast Stewardship Representative with her husband for Back to the Bible Ministries, Lincoln, Neb. She was formerly a member of Park Baptist Church, McKeesport, Pa., where she was a deaconess and Sunday School teacher, Calvary Baptist Church, Clearwater, Fla., and most recently a member of Bon Air Baptist Church, Richmond. At Bon Air Baptist Church, Mary was a founding member of the Golden Notes Choir and an active participant in the Bon Air Baptist Church Prison Ministry. In addition to her active service to the Lord, Mary was an avid golfer, most recently a member of Willow Oaks Country Club in Richmond. Dr. Maurice Graham will officiate at a memorial service to be held at Bon Air Baptist Church on May 16, 2001, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends immediately following in the church parlor. Mr. George Edward Wray, 57, of Midlothian, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Linda G. Wray; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela F. and John W. Price and Amy O. and Thomas W. Shook Jr.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher E. and Kristy B. Wray and Thomas E. and Allison C. Glover; five grandchildren, Todd, Tony and Christopher Wray Jr., Travis E-A Price and Crystal L. Richardson; one sister, Carolyn W. Harrell; two brothers, John W. Wray Jr. and William E. Wray; eight nieces and five nephews. Mr. Wray was preceded in death by one brother, James T. Wray. Mr. Wray was a member of Richmond Chapter of the Masonic Order. Linda Tredway Armitage, 56, passed away September 20, 2002. She is survived by her sister, Betty Ann Tredway Pallitto of Dallas, Texas; brother, Bernard W. Tredway of Richmond; daughters, Debbie Cartee-Hudson and Stephanie Cartee-Vance; son, Brett Ransome Hill; and seven grandchildren.
