Pacella, Lauri Anne
Lauri Anne Pacella, age 46, beloved daughter of Michael Joseph Pacella and Emma Allen Pacella, passed from this life on July 26, 2005 at VCU Medical Center.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving brother Michael and his wife Lisa; her devoted fiance Mark Jenkins, dear Aunt Eva Nourse, close Aunt and Uncle, Lucy and Matty Caso, and many other caring relatives and friends.
She will be greatly missed by her dear animal friends Maggie, Max, Ernie and Jesse.
She battled courageously and with steadfast hope for over four tough years against melanoma.
Her family is grateful to the staff at VCU' Dalton Oncology Center for their excellent and compassionate care of Lauri, especially Dr. Cecilia Boardman and Dr. Weldon Chaffe, and also Dr. Olubnmi Abayomi, and the staff of Radiation Oncology, the staff of the Thomas Palliative Care Unit.
The family also expresses heartfelt thanks to Lisa Taylor for her research and efforts leading to Lauri's treatment at Johns Hopkins Cancer Center in Baltimore.
All who knew Lauri well will never forget her shining personality, vibrant spirit, beautiful smile, and caring and winning ways with animals, especially dogs and horses.
A memorial service in Lauri's memory will be held at 7:30 PM on Monday, August 1 at Colonial Christian Church, 295 Dunlop Farms Boulevard in Colonial Heights.
The family will welcome friends in the church narthex, beginning at 6:00 PM.

Pajuf, Elizabeth Ramsey
NORFOLK - Elizabeth "Betty" Ramsey Pajuf, 79, of the 300 block of West Freemason St. passed away on Thurs., June 20, 2002. She was a retired civil service employee having worked at the Naval Supply Center for over 30 years. Born in Cunningham, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Nettie May Pulliam Ramsey and John Henry Ramsey.
Mrs. Pajuf was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, the Norfolk-Virginia Beach Executives Club, Retired Officers Wives Club, the Virginia Symphony League, and the Navy Supply Center Retired Association
Survivors include her husband, Joseph J. Pajuf; her daughter, Brenda Wood McGonegal of Richmond, Va.; a sister, Louise Lester of Roxboro, N.C.; a brother, Melvin Ramsey of Frankfort, Ky.; two grandsons, Robert Barrett Wood III of Norfolk and Edward Aaron Wood of Alexandria, Va.; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Paul Puchacz.
A funeral mass will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2002 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church by Father Joseph H. Metzger III. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 3 until 4 p.m. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the donors favorite charity.
Pair, Edward Parker
Edward Parker Pair, 81, of Highland Springs, formerly of Church Road, died Tuesday, December 18, 2001 at Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville. He was the son of the late Enoch and Annie Doyle Pair. Mr. Pair was a member of the United Methodist Church, Blandford Lodge #3 A.F. & A.M. and a member if the Civic Association of Henrico. He served his country during World War II with the U. S. Army and was one of the last survivor of the Battle of Normandy. His first wife Minnie Harrison Pair preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Kathelena M. Pair; two daughters, Claudia Ann Pair of Church Road and Constance Leah Thompson and husband Daniel of Sandston; three grandchildren, Constance Allen and husband Rev. David Allen LeFon, SSGT. F Bradley Allen and wife Jennifer and Melissa Dawn Williams; two great-grandchildren, Rebecca Kaitlin LeFon and Alexandra Harrison LeFon; a sister, Annie Mae Hobbs of Emporia; three brothers, Marvin Pair of Emporia, Cato Pair of Sandston and Carlton Pair of Jacksonville, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, December 21, 2001 at 1:00 P.M. in the Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery in Church Road Virginia with the Rev. Harry Byrd Jones officiating assisted by Rev William M. Worthy and Rev. David LeFon. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 until 8:30 P.M. at E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights.
Palmer, Edna L.
Edna L. Palmer, of Petersburg, died Sunday, March 23, 2003 at Mayfair House, Petersburg. An Arkansas native she was a daughter of the late William M. and Willie Duncan McKenzie and the widow of John E. Palmer. Mrs. Palmer retired from Southside Regional Medical Center after 40 years of service as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery. She was a graduate of St. Vincent's School of Nursing in Little Rock, Arkansas.
She is survived by two sons, William D. Palmer of Petersburg and John E. Palmer, Jr. of Dumfries, VA; three grandchildren; a sister, Lorene M. Martin of Arkansas and a brother Delmar McKenzie of Arkansas.
Funeral services will be conducted, Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights with the Rev. Gene C. Tatum officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. prior to the service a the funeral home.
Padbury, Bowen Bennett
Bowen Bennett Padbury, 74, of Vienna, Va. and who also maintained a residence at the Bennett family homestead in Pocomoke City, MD, died Monday, January 7, 2002 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD after a short battle with cancer.
Born in Salisbury, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Lewis and Charlotte Young Bennett.
Among her many volunteer endeavors, Mrs. Padbury was a 'Gray Lady' through the American Red Cross. The wife of a U.S. Navy Captain, she traveled throughout the world and was a volunteer English instructor to Japanese Policemen during her husband's tour of duty in Japan. She will always be remembered as a terrific cook, her needlepoint work and her love for flower arranging.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Captain Harry R. Padbury USN (Ret); two children, John Bennett Padbury and Harry 'Cappy' Morton Padbury both of Vienna, VA, a brother, Quigley Bennett of Lexington, NC and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Holloway Melson Funeral Home in Pocomoke City, MD. The Rev. Richard C. Hughes will officiate.

Bobby Pague
Robert C. "Bobby" Pague, 60, of Dumfries died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria. Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, is handling the arrangements, which were incomplete this morning.
Oscar F. Quann
Oscar Franklin Quann, 89, of Falmouth died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2002, at Mary Washington Hospital.
He was a World War II Navy veteran and had retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation. He was a member and deacon of Hollywood Church of the Brethren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Quann in 1996, and a son, Leon Quann in 1969.
Survivors include three stepdaughters, Bonnie Frazier of Fredericksburg, Camilla Messer of Spotsylvania and Deborah Leggett-Blankenship of Fredericksburg; one stepson, Douglas Taylor of Remington; one sister, Ruth Snellings of Stafford; one brother, Irvin Quann of Stafford; five stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mamie Sulllivan and Edna Thompson, and two brothers, Amos and Ben Quann.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at Hollywood Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Rick Ritchie officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

Quesinberry, Dorothy Chandler
NORFOLK - Dorothy Chandler Quesinberry, 81, passed away on Thurs., March 20, 2008. She had retired after 16 years as a School Crossing Guard for the Norfolk Police Department, and after retirement became an X-ray technician at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for 15 years. Born in Mount Airy, N.C., she was the daughter of the late James and Bertha Woods Chandler. Ms. Quesinberry was a member of Ocean View Assembly of God.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sandra Q. Redenz of Chesapeake; her son, Stephen Quesinberry and his wife, Debra of Varina, Va.; three grandchildren, Stephanie G. Redenz of Arvada, CO, Jeffrey S. Quesinberry and his wife, Gina of Glen Allen, Va., and Lisa Q. Freeman and her husband, Mark of Bexley, Ohio; and four great grandchildren, Jackson, Madison, Blake, and Marlow. She was predeceased by her daughter, Diane Quesinberry.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 24, 2008 in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home, 631 Westover Ave., Norfolk by Rev. Wendall D. Hodges. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the chapel one hour before the service. Wagner, Ralph Glenn
SFC, Ralph Glenn Wagner (U.S. Army, Retired), 49, of Prince George, died Thursday, March 14, 2002 at Mc Guire VA Medical Center, Richmond. A native of Marion County, West Virginia, he was an instructor for Radian Corporation and a member of Heritage Chapel at Fort Lee. Ralph retired from the military with twenty-one years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Kyong M. 'Connie' Wagner, his father and step mother, Ralph Clayton and Barbara Wagner of Wana, WV and mother, Anna Lee Rohrbough Wagner of Brunswick, OH; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Ed Logue of Griffen, GA and Barbara and John Canfield of Homerville, OH; three half-sisters and a brother-in-law, Roxie and Roy Lucas of Beckley, WV, Lillian Wagner of Wana, WV and Eddie Miller of Brave, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Adrian and Mary Lou Poling of Winter Haven, FL; five nieces; three great-nieces and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. in Heritage Chapel at Fort Lee, Chaplain Pearleane Scott will officiate. Elder Harrison Anderson will perform the eulogy. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights.
