Robert B. Mallory
Robert B. Mallory, 75, of Mineral died Wednesday, March 28, 2001 at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Temple Anderson, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 2 at Philippi Christian Church. Interment will be in the Mallory family cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Clinton Mallory of Florida; a daughter, Denise Harris of South Carolina; two brothers, James M. Mallory of Mineral and Walter Mallory of New York; one sister, Marie Johnson of Washington, D.C.; seven grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Mallory was born August 4, 1925, a son of the late Charlie and Dora Kenney Mallory.
He served in the United States Army and was a disabled veteran.
Thomasson’s Funeral Service, Inc., Louisa, is handling the arrangements.

Chadworth Parsons Sr.
Chadworth “Chad” Parsons Jr., 63, of Ashland died Tuesday, March 20, 2001.
A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at Shiloh Pentecostal, Richmond.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene; two sons, Chad Jr. and Byron Creig and his wife, Karen; a grandson, Nicholas Creig; and three brothers, Curt of Big Stone Gap, Lowell of Richmond, and Roger of Rogersville, Tennessee.
Mr. Parsons was retired from Beacon Press.
Memorial contributions may be made tot he Mechanicsville Christian Center, 8061 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, VA 23111 or Shiloh Pentecostal, 3400 Courthouse Rd., Richmond, VA 23236.

Edith E. Patterson
Edith E. Patterson, 73, of Gloucester, formerly of Louisa County, died Wednesday, March 14, 2001 in Gloucester.
Graveside services, conducted by Rev.. Hubert Hart, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17 in Hillcrest cemetery, Louisa.
She is survived by a son, Charles Brooks Jr. of Gloucester; two daughters, Mary Anne Askew of Bumpass and Alice Brooks of Charlottesville; two brothers, Buck and Tom Perry, both of Louisa County; and three sisters, Virginia Henshaw of Ashland, Minnie Meeks and Georgia Ann Becker, both of Louisa County.
Mrs. Patterson was born October 5, 1927 in Louisa County, a daughter of the late Willie and Carrie Sims Perry.
Lacy Funeral Home, Mineral, handled the arrangements.

Louise V. Reidelbach
Louise Virginia Reidelbach, 78, of Bumpass, died Wednesday, March 21, 2001.
A memorial service, conducted by the Rev. Richard Dusenberry, was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 25 at the Lacy Funeral Home, Mineral.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph A. Reidelbach and his wife, Deborah, of Mechanicsville and Lonnie Reidelbach of Bumpass; three sisters, Bertha Glass of Richmond, Ella Thurston and Helen Bowles, both of Columbia; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Reidelbach was born November 12, 1922 in Louisa County, a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Maggie Dunivan Peyton.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.

Barbara S. Tewell
Barbara Jeanne Schulke Tewell, 73, of Mineral died December 4, 2000 at her Lake Anna home.
A portion of her ashes will be inurned in the Rocky Gap Veterans cemetery, Cumberland, Maryland on April 12 with the remainder inurned in her family plot in Grand Forks, North Dakota on May 8, the anniversary of her birth.
She is survived by her husband, Daryl Tewell; step-children; a brother, Major General Herbert A. Schulke Jr., US Army (Ret.) C41, San Antonio, Texas; and her cousins, C. L. (Bud) Linfoot, Grand Forks, North Dakota, Dr. John Linfoot, Orinda, California, Helen Dahl, San Antonio, Texas, Dorothea Stinson Checkley, Seattle, Washington, and Darlyne Stinson Truby, Louisville, Kentucky.
Mrs. Tewell was born May 8, 1927 in New Ulm, Minnesota, a daughter of the late Herbert and Alice Stinson Schulke.
She graduated from Carleton College in 1949 and became a flight attendant for Chicago & Southern Airways in 1950, flying until 1962. She worked at Eastern Airlines in a management capacity until 1976, when she married .
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Evelyn L. Warner
Evelyn Long Warner, 67, of Mineral died Thursday, March 22, 2001 at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
Funeral services, conducted by Father Rodney Rodis, were held at Tuesday, March 27 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Mineral. Interment was private.
She is survived by her husband, Albert August Warner Jr.; a daughter, Julie Warner Gouveia; a son, Charles David Warner; and three grandchildren, Michael Ryan Warner, Dalton Olamana Gouveia and Dermetra Christina Warner.
Mrs. Warner was born January 2, 1934 in Washington, D.C.
She was a retired secretary for Montgomery County, Maryland.

Bettie T. Brooks
Bettie Tate Brooks, 79, of Montross, died Friday, July 27, 2001 at Riverside Tappahannock Hospital.
Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Clarence Long, were held on Thursday, August 2 at Siloam Baptist Church, Zacata. Interment was in the church cemetery.
She is survived by a son, Calvin Brooks and his wife, Linda Hopewell, of Camp Springs, Maryland; two daughters, Elizabeth Johnson and her husband, Irving, of Montross, and Gracie Quarles of Louisa; two sisters, Emma Johnson and Dorothy Tate of Montross; seven grandchildren, Kenneth Johnson Sr., Darrel Johnson, Jason Brooks, Lucille Johnson, Maria Brooks, Brian Johnson and Dana Quarles; four great-grandchildren, Kenneth Johnson Jr., Andrew Johnson, Michelle Johnson and Karen Johnson; four sisters-in law, eight brothers-in-law; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Brooks was born March 30, 1922, the daughter of the late Julius and Ida Tate. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marice Stuart Brooks.
Weldon-Fisher Funeral Home, Nomini Grove, handled the arrangements.

Irene C. Daniel
Irene Cardinal Daniel, 81, formerly of Louisa Healthcare Center, died Thursday, August 2, 2001 in Richmond.
Graveside services were held Sunday, August 4 at Hillcrest cemetery, Louisa.
She is survived by her children, Clarence, Phyllis, Fay, David and Janice Cardinal; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Wood.
Mrs. Daniel was born November 19, 1919, the daughter of the late Robert and Brookie Barlow.
Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa, handled the arrangements.

John W. Johnson
Johnson W. Johnson, 75, of Trevilians, died Wednesday, August 1, 2001 at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Charles H. Sims, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 5 at Foster Creek Baptist Church. Interment was in the Johnson family cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille B. Johnson; two sons, William H. Johnson and his wife, Betty, and Cedric L. Johnson and his wife, Christine; an adopted son, Marcus Brown, all of Trevilians; three daughters, Gladys L. Johnson of Louisa, Maria A. Johnson of Trevilians and Dorothy J. Christmas and her husband, Elder Edward Christmas, of Farmville; an adopted daughter, Earline Fortune of Trevilians; 20 grandchildren; a special grandson, Damian Wells of Trevilians; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Johnson was born October 28, 1925, the son of the late William H. and Louise Burruss Johnson.

Raymond Pendleton
Raymond E. Pendleton, 73, of Louisa died Tuesday, August 7, 2001 in the Louisa Healthcare Center.
Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Earl Pendleton, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11 at Foster Creek Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Pendleton family cemetery in Louisa.
He is survived by a brother, William Pendleton and his wife, Shirley, of Charlottesville; four nieces, Sandra Scott, Jeanelle King and her husband, Jeffrey, Tammy Pendleton, all of Charlottesville, and Debra Kay Sims of Louisa; three nephews, Aaron Pendleton and his wife, Adrianna, of Stafford, Ronald Pendleton and Larry Sims and his wife, Cathy, all of Louisa; and many other relatives and friends.
Mr. Pendleton was born April 24, 1928, a son of the late William and Mary Morris Pendleton.
He was a member of Foster Creek Baptist Church.
