Mrs. Dorothy K. Boise, 84 of Midlothian, died Friday, April 19, 2002 at Mary Washington Hospital. She is survived by a daughter; Patricia B. Kemp of Fredericksburg; a son, Robert V. Boise of Temple Hills, Maryland; a sister, Barbara Buchko of Hillsboro, Oregon and a grandson, Gary V. Kemp of Spotsylvania. A memorial service will be held at Brandermill Woods Clubhouse, Midlothian Virginia, on Saturday, April 27, 2002 at 4:00pm which will be conducted by Rev. Charles Grant officiating. Cammy Jo Flouhouse, 46 of Fredericksburg, died unexpectedly on Saturday April 20, 2002 at her home. She is survived by her husband, John C. Flouhouse; three daughters, Jenny Reid, Beth Reid both of Belle Fourche, SD, Sara L. Flouhouse of the home; two sons, John J. Flouhouse, Joshua D. Flouhouse both of the home; her father, Jake L. Stevens of Glenrock, WY; a brother, Ronald L. Stevens of Washington State, two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, Fredericksburg on Saturday, April 27, 2002 at 2:00pm with the Rev. Bob Graver officiating. Dorris Wayland Hisey, 88, of Culpeper died Wednesday, February 6, 2002. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin H. and Virginia Wayland, and sisters, Hazel W. White and Glenna W. Spillman. She is survived by two daughters, Jacquelyn R. Gilmore and her husband Robert L. Gilmore, Jr. of Culpeper, Carole R. Thompson and her husband John W. Thompson, III of Hampton, Virginia, nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be missed by her family. Mrs. Hisey worked for nearly forty years on Skyland Drive as the Dining Room Manager for Skyland Lodge and Big Meadows retiring at the age of eighty-two. She made many long friendships with people from all over the country that were frequent guests of the lodges. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the local Alzheimer's Association for research, P.O. Box 4634, Charlottesville, VA 22905. Interment will be private. Mr. Larry "Honey" Wayne Jordan, 47, of Spotsylvania died on Sunday, March 3, 2002 at his home after a long illness. Mr. Jordan was a native of the Fredericksburg area and was a self-employed excavator for over 20 years. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mildred Jordan; a son, David Jordan of the home; a daughter, Terria Jordan of the home; his father Joseph Jordan and step - mother, both of Stafford; five sisters, Mary Jewell, Joyce Muzzy and Betty Jewell, all of Stafford, Bonnie Schexnayder of King George and Joanne Busby of Florida; a step sister; a brother, Joseph Jordan of Partlow; two step brothers; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Audrey Jordan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7, 2002 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Fredericksburg from 6:00-8:00 pm with a funeral service following at 8:00 pm with Pastor Jerry Johnson officiating. Virginia Tomes, 85, of Culpeper died Wednesday, July 24, 2002, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born June 23, 1917 in Leon to the late Luther Alexander and Callie Mason Alexander. Mrs. Tomes is survived by six children, Robert Tomes and his wife, Della both of Fort Washington, MD, Callie Beasley of Ruckersville, Mary Tomes of Culpeper, Irene Murphy of Newark, NJ, Mildred Nixon and her husband, Lee both of Orange and Barbara Tomes of Culpeper. Additional survivors include two brothers, Hugh Mercer Alexander of Wheaton, MD and Floyd Alexander of Brightwood, nineteen grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Lewis Tomes and three children, Dorothy Mae Tomes, Corinthians Tomes and Virginia Walker. Friends are welcome from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, July 26, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 27, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, in Culpeper with Lee Nixon officiating. Newton Coughenour, IV, 47 of Spotsylvania, died Monday, September 9, 2002, due to a car accident. He served in the Navy 4 years; he was a member of the Men's Tuesday Night League and worked as a cook at Aunt Sarah's Pancake House in Massaponax. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Amy; a daughter, Samantha: father, Newton Coughenour, III of Spotsylvania; two sisters, Judith Lynn Holthouse of Orwell, NY and Dola Louise Deloff of Oswego, NY and a brother, Byrian Fleming Coughenour of Spotsylvania. A rosary will take place at 6:30 pm on Thursday, September 12, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Fredericksburg with the visitation following until 9:00 pm. James G. "Bubba" Hazel, 61, of Culpeper died Friday, July 12, 2002 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born December 1, 1940, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Samuel Lee and Evelyn Bickers Hazel. Mr. Hazel owned and operated Fleet Brake & Clutch Supply in Culpeper for many years. He is survived by a brother, William E. Hazel, of Haymarket, a nephew, William L. Hazel, of Richmond, and two nieces, Darnell H. Abbott, of Halifax, and Hillarye M. Hazel, of Haymarket. He is also survived by a cousin, James L. Hammer, of Haymarket. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 15, 2002, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. Ms. Janice Lee Rocchiccioli, 52 of Falmouth died Sunday July 14, 2002 at Mary Washington Hospital. Ms. Rocchiccioli worked for the RF&P; Railroad as a Train Master for 18 years, she was the owner of Hartwood Farm and Tack Shop and worked as a postal carrier for a number of years. She is survived by a daughter, Terri Lee Wright of the home. The family will have a memorial gathering and service at 118 Greenbank Rd., Falmouth on Wednesday July 17, 2002 beginning at 1:00pm. Blanche Campbell Herbert, 83, of Culpeper died Wednesday, February 12, 2003, at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born January 28, 1920 in Rappahannock County to the late John Amon Campbell and Blanche Jenkins Campbell. Mrs. Campbell was a member of Culpeper Baptist Church. She worked for J.J. Newberrys for a number of years. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Campbell is survived by two daughters, Shirley Ott and her husband, James both of Remington and Kay Haynes and her husband, Jack both of Culpeper. Additional survivors include three grandchildren, Jeff Haynes of Culpeper, Sonya Sisk and her husband, Jason both of Leon and Cherie Thacker and her husband, Bobby both of Culpeper, and four great grandchildren, Summer Haynes, Tucker Sisk and Valerie and Jacob Thacker. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Cornelia Herbert of Warrenton and Sue Cissel of Gaithersburg, MD, a beloved friend, Lee Cornell of Culpeper and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Hammond Herbert, Jr., one brother, Irvin Campbell and one brother-in-law, Richard L.
